4: Calling the (sustaina)Shots

The case for sustainability has been vastly caused by a global system that have shaped societies. This system is largely established by industries, governments, and organizations that have defined how things work. But behind these institutions are generation after generation of humanity that have built them.

Now that we are faced with a broken system that is further emphasized by the pandemic, how can we spark the change in the institutions we work with and for to ingrain a kind of leadership and culture that is also pro-people and pro-environment?

2: You are WORTH It

2: You are WORTH It

For centuries, we have lived with a global economy in which value and progress are based on one single metric: Profit

This very structure has further created the divide between the rich and poor, and built a linear approach where everything that we extract, produce, and sell all go to waste. Not only it made the quality of life overall worse, but it also pushed industries to compete in a losing battle where the casualty is EVERYONE of us.

How do we then redefine how we measure prosperity on all levels - from individual citizens to thriving nations?

1: "Sustainability? Nakakain ba 'yan?"

Sustainability - the one word that means so much but is less-appreciated. When we talk about progress and growth, sustainability is always left out in the discussion. Sometimes, it only becomes a secondary consideration. When in fact is that one big thing that will help us survive and realize more progress in the coming centuries, if we begin putting our full attention in it today.

In this episode, we will demystify what Sustainable Development is - the all-grand term which is meant to tip the scales and define how we can make our planet sustainable - and identify what's the single, biggest weapon we have to make this happen. 🌏
