“The joy of living with less.”
My husband and I have been on a minimalist journey for almost a decade, long before the now famous documentary hit Netflix. The things is: we fail miserably at it, while still loving its core values of joy and freedom. This interview with two friends, Adrienne Davidson and Sarah had been in the making for a few weeks. I posted in our local minimalist group, wanting to chat with a mom about minimalism and poof , there they were.
We met up at the restaurant that Sarah runs with her partner, James Ernst. (And I want to give a serious shout out to James for running the restaurant and wrangling their lovely little girl during our interview). Over coffee the ladies and I were able to cover everything from the basics of minimalism and cultivating beauty to sustainable family practices that can help save the planet. I'm not going to lie, my favorite parts were connecting to other moms who are ultimately raising children to find value in the simple things. I hope you enjoy our conversation as much as I did.
