Bodhi Parts 1: Constructing Clothes to Deconstruct Western Aesthetic Hegemonies
Kelsey Chen and Christian Lansang run a fashion brand called Bodhi Parts. Bodhi Parts is dedicated to enacting an anticolonial future. It merges high-end street wear design with impact-driven social messaging. The vision for the brand came from Kelsey and Christian's desire to start a fashion brand where clothing is seen as a site where racial and cultural tension and anxieties can play out. Transferring Trust
Transferring Trust — that’s why Niranjan and I started SYHDE. It’s our mission to capture moments & perspectives & stories in the lives of the people around us to remind ourselves that we all share certain conditions, even though those conditions are not equal.
Resilient Thread that Keeps Surfacing - A Conversation with my Mother.
Whenever an unarmed black man is killed, I get a call from my mother and sometimes I hesitate to pick up. It’s painful to hear the fear and worry in her voice. And I know it’s her calling even before I look at my phone — the ring tone even sounds different to me. Those notes land on my tiny ears differently when my mom calls.
So this time I decided to call her and record it for you to listen to. Because when people ask me how I’m doing right now, the honest response is I’m thinking about my mother. I’m thinking about how she's doing. So this episode is about that.

We want to get to know you through 3 of your IG photos.
Since 2017, we’ve been having conversations with the people around us to capture a moment of time in their life through audio. ⠀
Since we can’t have these conversations face-to-face, we decided to use IG as a platform to bridge our audio experience with our interviewee’s visual experiences on IG. We’re calling these SYDHE Sessions. ⠀
Still capturing moments through conversation, just adding visuals. Join us for SYHDE Sessions on IGTV, Youtube, and still available on all podcast platforms.
Logan Stone: The Law of F*ck Yes
Logan Stone is a director and filmmaker from St. Louis, Missouri. His company, Cinestone Pictures, is a digital media creative collaborative that produces independently funded films, music videos, and other digital media with a commitment to artistic vision and originality. Logan has directed music videos for artist like Rick Ross, and he recently filmed a documentary for MMA fighter Cowboy Cerrone leading up to his fight with Connor Mcgregor in January. In 2018 Logan completed first Feature film, “Noise and Color”. Its a SCIFI movie about a young man abandoning his decaying hometown in pursuit of the door to salvation.
Logan’s passion for film-making goes back to his childhood - like a lot of us he was inspired by films and cartoons, but he also was inspired by his own father who could often be found with his camera in hand shooting photos of Logan and his family and friends. In this episode you'll hear how passionate Logan is about film-making and how he got to a point where he could recognize his creative impulses, say F*CK yes to them, and run towards them. I’m excited for you to hear his SYHDE!
Vivek and Vikram Nayar: The Two Robbers - Desire to Take Risks (Part 2)
Welcome back to SYHDE. This is the second part of the interview with Viv and Vik Nayar-- the Founders of Two Robbers. If you’re just joining us, go back and listen to part 1 of the episode
In part two, the twin brothers talk about their new flavor that’s launching soon, the inspiration behind all of the Two Robber’s flavors, and the importance of focusing on quality when creating new beverages.
The conversation transitions into personal stories about Viv and Vik as they reveal one thing that they don’t usually share with people in their lives.
It's a fascinating conversation with two creatives who are really pushing the boundaries and limitations of what it means to be a new age brand, especially in a competitive space. There's lessons we can all take away from their journey. We hope you enjoy part 2 of the episode with the Two Robbers.

Season 2 Intro
Welcome to season 2 of SYHDE — the podcast that captures a moment of time in your life through audio. On SYHDE we interview people and get them to share their story for the purpose of inspiration, motivation, and human connection. We want to capture a moment in the interviewees life becuase we believe that the people around us have impactful stories, and we want to bring those stories to the world in a clear, relatable way.
Last year during season 1, we interviewed 7 people giving them the space to reflect and share their story—where they were from, where they were at the moment of our interview, and where they wanted to go. This season, we’re sticking with that relentless focus on capturing people’s now, but we’re adding a small twist.
On season 2, we are focusing on people who are building—people who have creative passions and who are working hard to achieve their hustles and dreams; artist, entrepreneurs, travelers, and creatives. You’ll hear their stories here. Welcome to Season 2 of SYHDE.
