Mary serves alongside Audrey as a Junction leader and also is involved in of the toughest ministries in the world — motherhood.

Today we’re going into the 4th of 8 weeks of our Junction series. We’re tackling 1 Timothy 2:8-15.
In this episode, I sit down with Helen Kao and my own mother, Roxy Kee.
In this conversation we talk about this very contentious passage about how men and women should behave in church. We talk about humility, holiness, and godly character, and how those are easy to say but hard to do. Helen and my mom also share a bit about their families’ and their kids history as immigrants to Canada.

This episode is a fireside chat with our English lead pastor Reverend Edmund Wu. he'll be running us through...

- How you can join and learn with us even as we can’t see each other physically
Whether you're someone who's done junction every single year and has collected all the colours of the booklets, or this is your first time doing junction with us, you’ll learn what you can expect and how you can make the most of our summer series.

1: A Devotion from Pastor Glendon
For this first episode we'll have a short devotion from Pastor Glendon. If you are subscribed to the midweek email, you might already have seen a video version of this. This will be an audio version of that.
This is a short, 3-minute devotional based on Psalm 23 and the song “Goodness of God”.
Take time to meditate on, as Pastor Glendon says, a God who is “a far better master than anything else in our world, including ourselves.”
Thank you to Chanelle Tseng for that cover of "Goodness of God” and for Amanda Wong for our podcast artwork.
Make sure that you subscribe to the podcast wherever you choose listen to so you get this every single week.

TRAILER: Why we're doing this
This is a way to understand how TCCC English Ministry works, beyond just the 1 hour on Sunday. We want to connect everyone, we want to engage you in as many ways as possible, right where you are. We can't see each other, physically, but there's so many other ways that we can still see each other.
Remember, the church isn’t the building. And worship isn’t the 1 hour we spend at service on Sunday mornings. We are the church - the collective group of people - known as the body of Christ. And worship should be the governing mandate of the other 167 hours we spend during the week.
If you're listening to this and you're new to Toronto Christian Community Church. We are a church on the intersection of Warden and Steeles Avenue on the border of Scarborough and Markham. We serve the Greater Toronto Area and the suburbs around it, whether that's North York, Markham, Richmond Hill, Scarborough, and even Missassauga.
We are a multicultural church with three congregations under one roof. We have a Cantonese, Mandarin, and English congregation. This podcast specifically will be in English. I can speak a little bit of Mandarin but Cantonese it's umsek teng umsek kong which, if you don't speak Cantonese, it just meant means that I can't understand or speak.
Sunday English services are at 9:40am to around between 10:45 to 11am. If you want to join us there, head on over to http://info.tccc.ca/online.
