Oops, I Messed Up My Trademark - It's Already Trademarked 🥲

Oops, I Messed Up My Trademark - It's Already Trademarked 🥲

When a trademark application fails, and they say "oops its already trademarked," that can feel defeating, especially if you the OG in that space. Neena breaks down the one undeniable rule of accountability when it comes to success when filing a trademark application that will challenge you to think differently. Protection doesn't have to be hard. It's an elevation to this business protection game. Don't try to go at it alone. #LetsLearnfromOurOops

When Will Our Black Lives Matter to You? ❤🖤💚

When Will Our Black Lives Matter to You? ❤🖤💚

Imma say this real clear for yall one time. It doesn't matter if they had a criminal record or not. STOP USING CHARACTER EVIDENCE TO LEGITIMIZE KILLING BLACK PEOPLE brutally and murdering black people and black freaking children. I should hope you want your kids to know that you dont want BLACK CHILDREN living in fear while jogging, while sleeping, and while playing video games or eating ice cream at THEIR OWN home.

WHAT POSSIBLE sense is that? Using criminal records AND race to determine jury, judge, and executioner? Think about that the next TIME you are quick to shout all lives matter at us.

Its been a hard time for a long time. If Starbucks can realize how wrong trying to drown out voices of their black lives matter supporters is, why is it so hard for you? What more do you need?

SO BOOM this is what I'm dropping a podcast on at 8pm CST tonight! I'm renaming Friday to be FREEDOM FRIDAYS!

A non-minority (white) woman was ripping down Black Lives Matter signs because she said it was "defacing government property" in her community.

Then when asked do you hate us that much ? She said yes with no hesitation!

Intentionality in Trademarks

Intentionality in Trademarks

Today I learned about Private Label Rights which is highly relevant to your course content that you may be trademarking the title for or copyrighting the content for. PLR is actually a way for you to license your protected goods for reuse.
.
.
This means alllllls you gotta do is create 1 Killer Course that applies generally. Then you can resell allll materials for it to others with a commercial private label right attached for the buyers' right to use this course as part of their paid course with their own customized branding. The term in business is called "white labeling"! Just be careful if you use this content to customize the content so it doesn't get called low-quality content on the internet. So happy White Labeling!

I Miss You Dad: Family Law and Lost Loved Ones

I Miss You Dad: Family Law and Lost Loved Ones

Hello everyone, father's day is approaching and thanks to some amazing people who checked on me when I dropped my 💜💙 hearts for the mental health check in, I finally have the courage to share with you all something that's been weighing on me since last year that I haven't shared more publicly yet. My father passed away last September 2019. It was the most devastating loss I've faced in my legal career, & I know there are more ppl who need a space to share the pain that comes with losing a parent so I'm gonna share and hopes it helps someone RELEASE today. My dad, the first basketball team with UAB blazers, drafted by the Denver nuggets, played overseas, was a present force my entire child and adulthood, helped with all my school projects, firm but fair, loved my mom so deeply and intensely that I knew that God crafted him special, made a friend wherever he went, carried himself with respect for others always & tried hard not to judge unless to make us better. I miss him! I have so much more to write.. Enjoy your time today. Call your parents and loved ones often and cherish every second. I know I did! Love y'all much!!
