Episode 19: From Surviving Hashimotos to a VIBRANT 2019 with Jana Bishop
I was introduced to Jana about a year ago through a mutual friend that sent me a text message saying, "my friend Jana has major thyroid issues and no one can seem to help her." Does that sound familiar to you? Have you been diagnosed with thyroid disease and been told things like "there's nothing you can do about it," or "you'll just be on medication for the rest of your life," or have you even been told that it's "all in your head?" Well, I am so blessed to work with women like you and like Jana Bishop. Today Jana shares her 10 year journey with you: what has worked, what hasn't, major mindset shifts that she's had, and what she's doing to make sure that 2019 is nothing less than VIBRANT! And I also wanted to let you know that today's episode is brought to you by my brand new, life-changing, FREE 3-part video series "THYROID 180: From Surviving to Thriving - How to Heal and Reverse Thyroid Disease...Without a Doctor" These videos are so free that you don't even have to give your name or email to get access to or watch them. Simply go to or go to and check them out now. Let's make 2019 your most VIBRANT ever! All my thyroid love, Talia

Episode 18: Diet and Health "Shaming" - What is it? How does it affect you? 5 steps to overcome it.
If you’re like most women, you’ve heard about “body shaming”, but have you heard of “Health or Diet Shaming??” Probably not, because I just made it up! But stick with me on today’s podcast episode! This is a real thing and chances are you’ve been impacted by it at some point or another. Diet or Health Shaming is the guilt you feel when you realize that the current diet you've been following (even one that helped you feel much better) isn't serving you the way it once did, but you're afraid you'll be criticized for "jumping ship" and jumping on the next "diet bandwagon." (Wow that was a lot of quotation marks...) Here's the deal. You are an ever evolving, changing and dynamic individual, and your needs can change over days, months or years. It is not only your right to listen to your intuition and make changes that serve you and help you feel amazing, it's your purpose!! We are here to feel energetic, joyous and vibrant. And part of that journey is giving our bodies what they need to make it happen. Today we are talking about 5 steps to free you from any dietary or health box or label so that you can be free to feel your best.

Episode 17: All About Autoimmune Disease - What is it, what causes it and what can I do about it?!
I’ve wanted to do this episode for a while, because I realized a while back that not only do autoimmune diseases impact a huge percentage of women, but it’s a term that we (both in the medical community and outside of it) throw around thinking that everyone automatically has a deep understanding of what autoimmune disease is and what causes it. In fact, I’d venture to say that many traditional practitioners don’t even have a firm grasp of autoimmunity. If you asked them what an autoimmune disease is, they’d probably say something like “It’s when your body gets confused and starts attacking itself as if it were an invader.” Not that this is untrue, but there is so much more to the story. And there in lies the difference between conventional medicine and holistic or functional medicine. Autoimmune disease doesn’t stop with one sentence. It’s the start of an archaeological dig that can reveal so many answers as to why you are feeling the way you are and what you can do about it. Today I’m joined by my good friend and esteemed and brilliant colleague, Dr. Emily Parke. And we are going to break it down for y’all for once and for all. Emily Parke is pretty much one of the coolest chicks I know (yes, I said that about an extremely intelligent physician). Today we are going to give you a complete mini-training on autoimmune disease so that by the end of this episode, not only will you know more than most doctors, you'll have the knowledge and the tools to not only stop autoimmune disease in its tracks but to REVERSE it and even PREVENT it!! Yes, my friends! Just like the 1980's super heroes, YOU HAVE THE POWER!

Episode 16: How to Create REAL Change in Your Health - Give Yourself a Freaking Break
Even though I am super passionate about all of the PHYSICAL changes we make to nourish our bodies, there comes a point when we have to shift to the REAL work. I call it the REAL work, because without it, nothing else really matters. Nothing else sticks. Nothing else lasts. The REAL work is a lot of things. It’s the inner work. It’s the loving yourself instead of belittling yourself. It’s the forgiving yourself. It’s stopping the judgement and the criticism. It’s finding joy. It’s connecting with something that makes you feel better. Does that seem lazy? Does it seem like a cop out? I’m here to tell you to let that go. I’m here to give you big, fat permission to be lazy, to be a “cop out.” Because I guarantee you that you will FEEL and EXPERIENCE so much more. You will GET and ACHIEVE so much more. Today we are talking about getting out of your own way, and finally GIVING YOURSELF A FREAKING BREAK.

Episode 15: Pregnant NATURALLY at 38 After Five Failed IVF Cycles
Today I have the honor of introducing you to my client, my friend and OBGYN Heather Stevens. Heather reached out to me a year ago for guidance after finding out that their 5th IVF cycle had failed. She expressed to me that they had tried everything they knew to try, yet she knew in her heart that her family wasn't complete. She wanted a fresh perspective and a unique approach, and she was ready to dive in 100%. Needless to say I was honored and thrilled to work with her. And the day that Heather called me to tell me she was pregnant was the second best day of my year (after my son's birth, of course)! Today Heather shares her fertility journey, her mindset shifts and what it felt like to go through the Wholistic Fertility Program and conceive on her own. Her story is miraculous, but it's not unreachable. Miracles happen every day, and tomorrow could hold your miracle.

Episode 14: Finding Our Fertility with Kelsie Vallacqua
Today's show is very special and close to my heart, because by the end of the show you'll have some tools and opportunities that could easily be the difference between getting and staying pregnant and not. If you don't already know and love her, you're going to absolutely adore my guest today, Kelsie Vallacqua. Kelsie is known to her supporters and her community by her raw, honest and emotional YouTube channel, ‘ItsKelsiesLife’, in which she's documented the experiences, feelings and frustrations of her fertility journey as well as what she's learned, what didn't work and resources that have helped her along the way. If you're a fan of Kelsie or if you are one of the 1 in 8 women battling infertility, frustrated by the fact that you aren't being heard and that there are few if any answers to your questions, you’ll want to stay to the end. We are going to share with you what we know to be a life-changing opportunity. The time for you is now. You were born to conceive!

Episode 13: My Favorite Food Blogs and Recipe Sources + A Few Extra Tips
Hey there ladies! Today one of my best friends reached out to me and asked me what my go-to food blogs were. I instantly knew this would be a topic I could talk for hours about and one that is requested frequently. So I hopped on the mic to deliver my favorite recipe creators in all the land. In this episode, I give you some tips and tricks to making recipe hunting and gathering work for you, and introduce you to my virtual food besties (even though I don’t actually know them personally...yet). I talk about a few of my favorite resources in more depth and then list more consistently awesome sites. If you’d like to get your hands on these links in all in one place, head over to my private (and of course FREE) Facebook Group, #healthhacker. I’ll have the list in the files tab as well as in the feed. When you listen and love today’s episode, please hit the ‘like’ and ‘subscribe’ button. You can also leave a glowing review or a voicemail!

Episode 11: Antisperm Antibodies, Unexplained Infertility and What YOU Can Do About It
Have you been diagnosed with Unexplained Infertility? Have you had several failed IUIs for no known reason? Antisperm antibodies can be secretly sabotaging your fertility! This immune response in men and women can severely damage sperm, keep the sperm from fertilizing the egg AND potentially lead to miscarriage. It is rarely included in most work ups, but could be the difference between conceiving and not. We'll break this complex topic down into one that is easy to understand and also discuss your options when it comes to treatment and management.

So often we spend our days lamenting HOW we are going to do something, get something, or achieve something. Unfortunately, this can lead to procrastination or just letting our goal or idea die a slow death. Today I talk about the 2 WHO'S that can get you to where you want to be (you know, like losing weight, feeling energized or what have you...)

Episode 03: Finding Balance, Flexibility and an Open Mind in Your Health
Brought to you live from my Honda CRV (yeah baby!), we chat today about how I’ve learned that being rigid in any aspect of my life (but particularly health) has actually PREVENTED or DELAYED my success and ability to achieve the health outcomes I’ve been looking for. As a functional medicine and holistic practitioner and coach, I’m obviously VERY passionate about getting to the root of the problem, treating each woman as a unique individual and approaching treatments in a “natural” way. However, I’ve learned in my own experiences and experiences of my patients and clients, that our road to success has twists, turns and pit stops, and that sometimes it takes us through unexpected detours. Sometimes to get where we want to go, we have to be open to visiting the proverbial “World’s Largest Ball Of Twine,” knowing that everything is always working in our favor.
