Talking Tai Chi with the teapotmOnk

Talking Tai Chi with the teapotmOnk

By Paul Read
Once upon a time, in a monastic dungeon long ago, the teapotmOnk was dabbling with new concoctions when he stumbled across a more flavoursome and far healthier way of learning Tai Chi - one that promised a guru and jargon free future. Today the Universe is a freer place thanks to that simple blend. This series - previously locked way by reactionary leaders - has now been liberated and is freely available once more to disrupt and dismantle where possible. Old episodes will be sprinkled unexpectedly with freshly brewed interventions inspired from 21st century taichi.com website.

Looking for a local Tai Chi Class? Check out these Essential tips
Every Thursday afternoon - a new episode In the days before the pandemic when people dismissed the idea of training online - there were few of us exploring this new ground. For most students, there was but one choice to search their local neighbourhood to find a Tai Chi class. Once they found one, they signed up.  This was never a good policy, for Tai Chi is a many headed-beast and there are not only plenty of different styles and schools, but ways of teaching to take into account.  In this episode, the teapotmonk takes you through a few essential tips to bear in mind when evaluating a school or class - and so even now when you have the world on your doorstep (via the internet) and you can choose any teacher in any country, you should still consider these basic points.  Find out more about learning Tai Chi in the 21st century with the teapotmonk  https://www.21stcenturytaichi.com
