Humanizing Anxiety with Courtney Koester
Courtney Koester took the journey from filmmaker + photographer to Empowerment Coach + Reiki Master Practitioner. Frequently found sipping tea, boarding a plane or getting lost in a sea of trees, this Sagittarian’s heart was made to dive deep + explore. With firsthand experience in untangling from patterns of people pleasing, self-abandonment + self-judgment, Courtney’s work focuses on the importance of self-reconnection + the invitation to rehumanize ourselves. Her medicine is in guiding humans to clear the harsh lens they’ve viewed themselves through and begin to explore their whole self from a widened + deeply aligned perspective. In this conversation, Tami and Courtney jam on: *Recognizing anxiety as a human and normal response, rather than pathologizing it *Pulling back the layers of what society has told us about selfishness and people pleasing *Holding positive regard for others, while also being able to recognize their full humanity *Being brave enough to unhook from supremacy culture *Supporting ourselves to move through our fight, flight, or freeze responses *Normalizing that some relationships naturally come to a close *Not apologizing for our full humanity; we will cause harm, but we will also cause joy! Healing as Life’s Work with Emma Tait
Emma Tait is a writer, soul guide, and creator who helps people connect to their own inner knowing and guidance system so that they may have a career and life filled with purpose, joy, and peace. Her life’s work is to empower others to meet, know, love, and express their whole selves through all of life’s ebbs and flows, no matter where they are starting and what their goals are. She believes the way forward is for each of us to first come back to ourselves through understanding the innate emotional, physical, and spiritual wisdom we all hold. She guides others through her writing, 1:1 coaching, and online courses. In this conversation, Tami and Emma jam on: *Stepping out of the traditional paradigms of healing and stepping into full humanity *Being present with our pain and grief instead of always trying to fix it *Reframing the times when we get it “wrong” into information and experience that lead us to what we do want and what does feel good *Trusting that us humans have seasons just like nature *Remembering that you don’t have to have your shit together in order to love yourself *Tuning into what feels like the next right move, rather than feeling overwhelmed by changing everything *Releasing from the notion that we must be constantly seeking healing instead of actually living our lives *The journey of unapologetically being unapologetic Resources mentioned in this episode: The book There Is Nothing Wrong with You: Going Beyond Self-Hate by Cheri Huber To connect with Emma: Follow her on Instagram @emmarosetait or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org To connect with Tami: Follow her on Instagram @tamisasson_ or visit her website www.tamisasson.com

Connecting to Our Mother Energy with Sarah Durham Wilson
Sarah Durham Wilson is the mother of the archetypal Maiden to Mother Movement. She midwives women from the wounded patriarchalized feminine across the bridge to the archetypal mother, or mature feminine. Before her service to the Goddess, she was a rock journalist in New York City, beginning with an internship at Rolling Stone and culminating as an editor at Interview magazine. Her soul work began with a witch awakening in 2011, which evolved into priestess work in 2015, and then into building the bridge from the immature to mature feminine — which involves exorcising poisonous patriarchal patterning and resurrecting the ancient healing ways of feminine wisdom. She’s an Avalonian Wisdom Keeper, solo mother to a little girl, and currently working on a Maiden to Mother book for Sounds True. She lives on Martha’s Vineyard. In this conversation, Tami and Sarah jam on: *What’s possible when we go within for guidance instead of outsourcing our wisdom. *Not waiting until you’re “ready” to go after what you want. *Stepping into our own mother energy to meet our needs that weren’t met in childhood. *How healing it can be to let people see you - even the gory parts! *Recognizing the different parts of us that react to situations and how to care for them. *Showing up as an authentic, messy human; we’re all still learning. *The myth that we should have things figured out by a certain stage of life. *Not apologizing for your greatness. Breaking Free through Turning Inward with Maryam Abdulmalik
Maryam Abdulmalik supports (mostly) women in meeting their essence and leading their lives from that space. She was born and raised on a tiny island in the Middle East, into a set of restrictions that she later realized would free her. She believes that our ‘cage’ encapsulates the roadmap to our freedom and that while mainstream emotional healing modalities are extremely potent in creating transformation, nothing will satiate you on a deep soul level as much as your own medicine. Maryam’s primary intention is to guide those seeking deep freedom to consider reckoning with the ‘non freeing force’ in their lives to find their true sovereignty. In this conversation, Tami and Maryam jam on: *What even is safety? How do you create safety when physical safety can’t be guaranteed? *How Maryam broke free from the oppressive forces she was born into *Taking responsibility for our own healing, even when you want to blame others *Confronting the power that lives within us *How to reckon with instead of avoid *Not apologizing for following an unconventional path To connect with Maryam: Follow her on Instagram @maryamaabdulmalik or visit her website www.maryamabdulmalik.com To connect with Tami: Follow her on Instagram @tamisasson_, visit her website www.tamisasson.com, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Welcome to the Done Apologizing Podcast
Welcome to the Done Apologizing Podcast with your host Tami Sasson! Tami is an Embodiment Coach, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and human on her own journey dedicated to the collective liberation of all women through our own individual healing journeys of letting go of toxic shame and reclaiming our inherent wholeness. And now, she is honored to connect with you through the Done Apologizing Podcast. This podcast is for you if you’re yearning to connect with women from a variety of backgrounds and experiences about healing and living fully - without apology. That all women may feel less alone knowing that so many other's are journeying alongside you. That you find hope and healing in the listening of other's so courageously sharing their stories through brave conversation that you may find the spaces and the audacity to do the same for yourself. Tami dreams that all women may feel deeply free in their bodies, their desires, their dreams, their needs and their wants and that they be celebrated for all that they are. Tami's hope is that through the listening of so many unapologetic stories, you too may find the desire to let go of being good to become exactly what you are. Her hope is that you listen to this podcast with your whole body instead of mindlessly consuming - allow listening to be an experience and allow yourself to find your heart in these words!
