I get asked so many times about doing an episode on parenting, how to handle toddlers, tantrums and meltdowns. So many parents feel so overwhelmed and powerless in the choices they are making as it pertains to parenting and I'm hoping that this episode will bring to your attention a new way to look at this very BIG picture. I was introduced to "Conscious Parenting" a little while back but only recently started to deep dive into the practices of this teaching. It has been life changing, not only for me, but for my family also. If you're looking for a better way, a new way to parent, I strongly recommend to begin your search here. The teachings of Dr. Shefali Tsabary have been a life saver for me and I hope that it inspires you to go on your own search for a better way.
I would highly recommend her books The Conscious Parent and The Awakened Family as well as all the content available on youtube and podcasts.
In this episode, Jonno and I talk about what it was like in our homes growing up, how we parent our children and how we are both on a path to helping to nurture and preserve the essence of our children. This topic is so huge that we barely got to cover all the aspects we wanted to. You can be sure there will be many more episodes on this topic and on parenting in general.
We are trying to create a community that fosters honesty and vulnerability without judgement and we hope you not only learn from our honesty and vulnerability but also feel inspired to share some of that in your own lives. We are all trying to figure out this journey and it is my deep hope is that we can support one another in the figuring out of it all.
This week, I sit down with the best selling author Sandra Rodriguez Bicknell to discuss her book Cuts Of A Diamond: Turn even your most heartbreaking experience into a thing of beauty. Fulfilling a lifelong dream to work with her clients by “marking a moment” and helping to inspire others to embrace the power of lifelong self-discovery, we speak about her spiritual journey through love and heartache and take a deep dive into topics like forgiveness and the power of changing your narrative.

We talk about sex, arguing, divorce and everything in between. I am joined for the second time by my friend Jonno and my sister Tessanne for another honest conversation. Hope you enjoy!
For this episode I'm joined by my good friend Jonathan "Jonno" Watt and my sister Tessanne Chin. Today we are tackling relationships. The big question on the table…"Is Love Enough?"
