It’s been an amazing year talking with a variety of people from different industries over the past year!  I am so grateful for the guests that have taken the time to connect and share their stories! I started this podcast because people need a place to talk about this issue and because we need to figure out better ways to intervene earlier! Kindness & compassion are key as well as KNOWING what or how to say something that will be effective & useful. Personally I know the isolation of growing up in this & recognize that even once we escape the chaos it still impacts us for the rest of our lives! Going forward we will continue to talk with people that are willing to share their perspectives! Please join us in The Hoarding Solution Community if you are looking for ways to connect & resolve hoarding issues in a mindful way.

Our Clients Need Us to Be Intentionally Different
Marisa Readus is located in Dallas / Ft. Worth Metro area and is the owner of Absolute Touch Specialized Cleaning Services. Her journey began in 2015 when someone from her church asked for her help. The person was in a wheelchair, dealing with a disability and could no longer clean their home. Marisa was honored to be asked, as she had previously worked in the medical field for almost 20 years and helping people just comes naturally for her. Helping was and is dear to her heart.  Although when Marisa first began she knew she could help, but I honestly didn't know if she would be good at it. When Marisa had finished cleaning the home, the lady said Marisa had done an  amazing job.  In that moment, Marisa was happy and in that moment she knew she could help many others. The company grew to working with realtors, property management companies, and other clients who also needed help. It was the beginning of an amazing journey that fulfills a purpose in the lives of others. Marisa has been working in the cleaning industry for over 5 years. She has been fortunate to have the opportunity to help those who deal with hoarding.   Our kindness and compassion is the true difference between us and other companies. Most of our clients or their families were ready for help when they call to set an appointment. Absolute Touch Specialized Cleaning Services also provides home organization services, packing, and after death clear out. Every service receives a deep clean or move out clean upon completion.  Because we offer multiple services we are able to go through the entire process with them. You can learn more about Marisa & the services they offer by connecting with them here.
