We start off talking about the American Judo Systems upcoming tournament on June 4th named "SUMMER SLAM". How this tournament is for USA Judo points, as well as the interesting prizes for the youth division and senior elite division. Then we go into some viewer question/feedback. With the first two part questions being. Are the federation dues for USA Judo, USJF and USJF too high? And is it harming Judo's growth in the US? The second part of the question was would a discount or reward program help grow Judo? Like discounts on tickets for hotels and flights as well as stores and restaurants. To celebrate the 3rd anniversary of our podcast, USA Judo, USJF and USJA decided to end the American judo alliance agreement. We talk about how things have gone and what we have done the past 3 years with this Judo podcast. In episode 73 of Tatami Talk with Juan and Anthony. We start off first  talking about the biting incident that happened at the Paris Grand Slam.  In the first round of the -52 kg category. A Kazakhstani judo player  bit a Belgium judo player on the calf well trying to escape an armbar.  We then go into the -57kg finals in Tel Aviv. With an all Canadian  final. Where Klimkait finally beat Deguchi with a throw. But with it not  being without some controversy in the end. We finish up talking about  the Clarisse Agbegnenou comeback troubles. Some of you may or may not  know but she signed a sponsorship deal with Mizuno, but the French  national team is sponsored by Adidas. At this tournament she decided to  wear her Mizuno sponsored Gi. In doing this the French team decided to  punish her by taking away all her government sponsored funding. As well  as not allowing any French team coach to coach her at the tournament

In Episode 61 of Tatami Talk, we start off talking about our friend at 510 Judo and their beach  Judo/Wrestling event being held at Alameda Beach in the SF Bay Area on  September Sunday the 11th. An open grappling event focuses on takedowns  with no pins or submissions. No winners no losers just a bunch of  grapplers coming together to have a fun time on the beach. We then go on  to talk about Anthony's experience at Darcel Yandzi's 3 day training  camp. Held in Baldwin Park over the Labor Day weekend. What was it like  training with Yandzi? How did he like it and enjoy it? And as always the  pros and cons of going into these events.
