Dr. Rohan Walvekar stops by the studio to talk about the creation of the nDorse App.  NDorse is a mobile and web based application that allows real time positive reinforcement and feedback by saying something nice to your colleagues and friends.  Dr. Walvekar is paying it forward and making our work environment a happier, healthier place.  This app started in hospitals and is now transitioning to schools, and offices across the country.  He's amazing and so is his project! Film Festival.  We were also joined by Writer/Director of "Up From The Streets", Michael Murphy and the film's producer, Cilista Eberle.  The N.O. In this emotional interview, Wendy Rodrigue opens up about the life of her late husband, world-renowned artist George Rodrigue.  In honor of George's memory, Wendy created the Life and Legacy tour, and now travels to schools all over the United States and shares Blue Dog's story and never before seen works of art from George Rodrigue himself.  This interview is raw, endearing and will bring you to tears.  We are incredibly lucky that Wendy shares these stories and keeps the memory of this great man alive!

The 3rd Annual Mac N Cheese Festival is being held Saturday, October 12th in Louis Armstrong Park.  Jules Egren stops in to tell us how she got the idea to start the festival while day drinking on her porch. Hunter Cole marries art and science in a mesmerizing new multimedia exhibit entitled Living Light: Photographs by Light of Bioluminescent Bacteria.  She reinterprets science as art through the creation of living artworks, abstractions, digital art and installations using bioluminescent bacteria.  Her work has been recognized world-wide.  Don't miss this exhibit at the Zeigest Multi-Disciplinary Arts Center Theatre October 5 - November 28.  A special evening entitled "Glow" will be held Thursday, October 10th which will include live performance art, as well as photographs.  

Ashley Hill, Operations Manager for the Crescent City's scariest Halloween attraction stops by to talk about the bone chilling haunted experience - THE NEW ORLEANS NIGHTMARE.  The haunted house rises again beginning Friday, September 13th.  This years new attractions include "Darkest Dreams", "Rise of the Dead", and "Clowns".  Be prepared for the characters in this real life movie set to haunt your dreams until Halloween! CEO and Chairman of the Board of Al Copeland Investments, Al Copeland, Jr. stops by the NOLA Famous Studio with Margaritas and Fried Chicken Fajitas from Nole' Restaurant.  One of the many restaurants owned by the Copeland Family.  We chat about business, the Al Copeland Foundation, a partnership with LSU Health Sciences Center focusing on Immunotherapy to support curing cancer, and of course the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich.  Al was such a fun guest, and this was an amazing interview.  We enjoyed getting to know him a little better!

New Orleans socialite, Reality Star of Bravo's Southern Charm New Orleans, mom, wife,  and just all around HBIC (Head Bitch In Charge) the one and only Tamica Lee, stops by the NOLA Famous Studio to sip on French 75's and dish on the show!
