Cancel Me, Baby!

Cancel Me, Baby!

By Taylor Ferber

"Don’t tell me what I can and can’t say." Veteran journalist Taylor Ferber wrote this in her unprecedented Playboy feature, challenging the idea that brains and beauty are mutually exclusive, as the only woman who both posed and was a featured writer. After years as Hollywood's "Celebrity Whisperer" who interviewed and humanized the biggest A-listers at every major event, her irreverent show empowers viewers to think freely outside rules around wokeism, conservatism, men, women, media, and culture, getting big guests (like Blake Shelton, Dave Portnoy, Lake Bell) to say what they really think.

Ep 265: The Momalas Can Get Momalost as Far as I'm Concerned

Ep 265: The Momalas Can Get Momalost as Far as I'm Concerned

I'd take a savage old lady over a phony "Momala" Harris any day. So let's take a closer look at the recent Sanderson sisters reemergence as a borderline geriatric Hollywood producer isn’t feeling euphoric for Sydney Sweeney, and her fellow give-no-f*cketeers Courtney Love and Lily Allen don’t mince words about pop stars like Beyoncé and Taylor Swift. Easy (and understandable) to pin these situations to: has been vs. hot. But can’t we discern pure pettiness from good ol' honesty? And what’s the underlying reality beneath it all? Truth hurts, babe. And I'm here to tell you cus Momala sure as sh*t won't.

Ep 264: Racism, But Make it Fashion

Ep 264: Racism, But Make it Fashion

It's October 7th 2.0 on college campuses and beyond across the states. Our leaders, who have cherry-picked standards through the cultural conversation, seem to be confused. But it's really not that complicated. Racism is racism. And free speech is free speech. Period.

Ep 263: I Was on NPR 3 Years Ago For the Same Thing Its Whistleblower Just Quit Over

Plot twist: they didn't invite me back :) My give a f*cks have been on vacation! The crazy turn of events in my public fight for free speech after being suspended at VH1 and serendipitously on NPR a few years later to talk about it, mirroring the current, huge national story around NPR's whistleblower editor Uri Berliner. I also address Tucker’s weird turn and Candacegate at the Daily Wire. Because does challenging authority ever go too far?

Ep 262: The Year of the Power Hoes Being EXPOSED, Says Numerologist

Ep 262: The Year of the Power Hoes Being EXPOSED, Says Numerologist

In an ep different from the show's usual speed, I sit down with professional Spiritual Advisor Charles Dotson (TikTok @numericalinsights) who uses the ancient practice of numerology to give big-picture insights on the chaotic state of the world. To get your feet wet, and to indulge good ol' millennial narcissism, the first half is my personal life number and pinnacles overview. In the second half, Charles explains how the numbers are coming for YOU, Big Govt, Hollywood, corporations, banking, stock market, real estate, and more, with power struggles, scandals, and high-powered structures being exposed. I reckon Diddy was just the beginning... Plus, do the numbers predict the ever-looming WWIII? Shit gets real.

EP 261: Diddy or Didn't He Pull a Nickelodeon?

EP 261: Diddy or Didn't He Pull a Nickelodeon?

For you OG listeners, I have a lil something that'll have you more surprised than Diddy's sons being dragged out in handcuffs in the middle of their afternoon tea. THE TWO BLONDES ARE BACK, BABY! In the only show reunion that the people need, I'm joined by my original podcast co-host, the one and only Emily Blair Marcus, because Two Blondes STILL don't make a right. In usual blonde style, we dissect: the many ways the Diddy raid and "Quiet on Set" Nickelodeon doc align, Hollywood's aversion to Israel and love for terrorists, Kate Middleton's AI clone's diagnosis announcement theory, and more. And in a plot twist of the ages, Emily has gone from riffing on the most powerful celeb publicists with me... to becoming one of them. Her firm is taking over Hollywood like Gavin Newsom's hair gel and she tells us all about being on the other side of the beautiful and dysfunctional chaos that is entertainment media.

Ep 259: Don Lemon and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Interview

The digital public square is such a mess, your nastiest frat house bathroom is a palace in comparison. Google's AI made black Nazis. Elon Musk cancelled Don Lemon. Beyonce wants race in music to be irrelevant, but, by golly, not if AI and Don Lemon have anything to do with it! Are the answers to our civil discourse prayers coming from... former arch nemeses Chris Cuomo and Tucker Carlson??? It's survival of the DEI nightmare and no one is safe.

Ep 258: A Provocative Take on the World's Darkest Trafficking with Mariana van Zeller

National treasure and award-winning journalist Mariana van Zeller is one of the last REAL reporters standing. In a fascinating and honest chat about the findings of her Nat Geo series "Trafficked: Underworlds," we explore the politicization, glorification, and humanization of the world's most dangerous black markets. PLUS, her input on how being a woman allows her to go toe-to-toe with some of the biggest and most violent players will blow your mind. RESPECT.

Ep 257: Quit Play(boy)ing Games With My Heart

Ep 256: Get Your Assless Chaps, We Goin' Country Like Beyonce

Saddle up, cowboys and girls. Biz-savvy BABE Juliet Schroder, founder of the hugely successful platform Celeb Secrets (think: sexy Variety), is here. From Hollywood to NYC and here in Nashville, we have seen it all in behind-the-scenes celebrity chaos, and these two tri-state broads have opinions to share and stories to tell. We talk big picture ideas like the questionable state of celebrity and mainstream women freeing their sexuality, down to timely controversies like Beyonce's country debut frenzy and Megan Fox's self-deprecating Ukrainian sex doll joke. Yeehaw.

Ep 233: World War Women

New year, same ol' sh*t, and lucky for you, same chick ;) The battle of what is a woman prevails into 2024 and in 39 minutes of chaotic glory, we somehow hit: the conservative women calendar, Kristen Stewart’s gayness (and my firsthand account), Sabrina Carpenter’s hotness, and Megan Fox’s poetry book that E.E. Cummings never saw…. coming. Live this Saturday night because SNL is as dead as Napoleon.

Ep 232: The Free Speech F*ckery Elle Woods Didn't Ask For

Ep 231: The First Guest of Its Kind... and Oh, Baby.

Ep 231: The First Guest of Its Kind... and Oh, Baby.

Hot. Hustling. And knocked up. What's your point? For the first time on the show, I'm joined by a super talented and SUPER pregnant guest. This jaded Hollywood chick has seen it all, y'all. And I've never seen a performer rock it on stage while unapologetically displaying a baby bump in a sparkly mini dress with legs out, pipes on display, and owning every minute of it like I saw this rising star do at a recent event I hosted. Fellow Tri-State firecracker Carolyn Miller is a CMT "Next Up Now" artist, played Barefoot Country fest along with Blake Shelton, Kid Rock, and Darius Rucker this year, and is certifiably TikTok viral. Fascinated, I get into: Why IS it so rare and taboo to see pregnant women simultaneously perform and do their thing (while looking sexy) in pop culture? (Couldn't POSSIBLY be the sexuality of it all, now, could it??.....) We also explore: breaking out of the box of being pregnant OR a hustler with a dream, political cancel culture nonsense (ie; Jason Aldean, Luke Combs, Marren Morris), and separating art from the artist (ie; Kid Rock, Kanye). It's a total breath of fresh air we need just when lunatics like the UPenn President were out here testing the last of our patience, so dive in and have fun in this entertaining ep fertile for conversation. See what I did there?

Ep 230: Beyonce's White and I'm Living in the Upside Down

Ep 229: Dr. Sheila Nazarian & the Common Sense that Terrorists Should Be Cancelled

Ep 229: Dr. Sheila Nazarian & the Common Sense that Terrorists Should Be Cancelled

When bin Laden was killed, I was among the thousands of college kids and Americans who flooded the streets in celebration. 12 years later, we're again seeing thousands take to the streets in celebration... this time, of terrorists. Dr. Sheila Nazarian, Emmy-winning TV personality, esteemed Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, and activist, enters the chat for a no-holds-barred, brutally honest conversation with me as two Jewish women in the media deeply affected by the war in Israel. We air out the thoughts and questions you've had behind closed doors. Is our society, the product of a TikTok information war, really that ignorant? Or is it just a deep, pure resentment and disregard of Jews? It's the conversation you're not seeing anywhere else, and in some ways, a rude awakening.

Ep 228: Behold: The REAL Empowered Female, Not That PC Crap

The blame-the-patriarchy-male-gaze-objectificaion folk are gonna be REELING today! In this ep, Sex Goddess Body meets THE Pussy Priestess. You're welcome, people. I'm joined by psychologist, coach, and podcaster, Josefina Bashout, girlfriend of my last guest (Tony Robbins's top speaker Naeem Mahmood) and badass in the truest sense. Dudes, this is for you, too. Two women here who break out of the box in ALL that is womanly, appreciate you, and are the type you want to know ;) We go there with: why she was deplatformed, Skims nipple bra, the hypocrisy of Middle Eastern religion oppressing sexuality, younger generation too sexualized vs older generation too judgmental, the popular woe-is-me woman mindset, the feminine urge to be territorial over your man (she's mind-blowing here), sexuality by female rappers (is detailing your butthole a lil too far, tho?), and more.

Ep 227: Civilization Is at a Pit, But He's Committed to Our Peak

Naeem Mahmood is a world-renowned life guru who was one of Tony Robbins’ top national speakers. He's advised some of the most impactful organizations, like The US Army, on peak performance and has given over 2,000 talks to more than 100,000 people. And now it's your turn ;) We talk: optimizing tools from tech to physical attractiveness, societal woes from instant gratification to imposter syndrome, and identity crises from tribalism to overwhelming news consumption. Naeem shares super engaging and valuable insight on navigating daily life for an optimized brain and (sex god/goddess) body. My personal favorite may be his philosophy on letting your peacock shine. True words to live by.

Ep 226: The Victoria's Secret Rebrand Reversal Looks Awfully Different in the Context of What's Happening.

Victoria's Secret pulls a Bud Light and course-corrects their PC rebranding and messaging that was to appease deranged keyboard justice warriors. Tying in an iconic director's recent comments cancelling themself as well as Disney's ongoing “Go Woke, Go Broke" brigade with the Snow White remake -- the backdrop of what's actually unfolding from said keyboard warriors regarding the Middle East gives a whole new, sad perspective on what was otherwise corporate virtue signaling nonsense.

Ep 224: Word To the Wise: Save Your Money on Universities Teaching Terrorist-Loving 101

The fact that we even have to have this conversation is sad. But here we are. A look at the HOW and WHY we have widespread justification, apathy, or condoning of Hamas and the brutal massacre of Jews in the War in Israel. What has gone so awry in the hearts and minds of America's youth that they actually celebrate terrorism? From the Harvards to the Stanfords... spare your wallet from these trash institutions.

Ep 222: Why Women Having Bad Sex Went Viral

Ep 222: Why Women Having Bad Sex Went Viral

We know by now a Me Too moment that crosses the line is bad. (Good job, class!) But what about the non-extreme, more common experience of women enduring... plain, unsatisfactory sex? Award-winning Filmmaker Susanna Fogel (Flight Attendant, Booksmart writer) argues the latter is more worth talking about. Have to say, think I agree. She's here to talk about her official Sundance 2023 selection film CAT PERSON, based on the 2017 New Yorker short story that was the first work of short fiction to ever go viral and sparked debate about gender, sex, and power. Needless to say, she's come to the right place ;)

Ep 219: Feminism vs. Man-Hating: THE PANEL

Ep 219: Feminism vs. Man-Hating: THE PANEL

The conversation you have behind closed doors -- with honesty, heart, disagreement... and zero censoring. I called on my two badass, fellow entertainment Nashville pals who happen to be the fiercest, most knowledgeable female activists I know to have the feminism vs. man-hating conversation. They challenge me and my female empowerment optimism (as I do them) and it's all out on the floor. Welcome Shea Carter (performer and co-founder of the Womxn of Tomorrow Foundation) and Lou Ridley (artist and songwriter) as we hit: Is "empowerment" naivety?, are genders really equal?, what is a man and masculinity?, where does culture dictating women's sexuality come into play?, and of course, where we're at with Me Too and has it been hurtful or helpful? Getting into the forbidden spaces, maybe you'll see yourself in the conversation. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll burn a bra or you may just jump your man’s bones. It's an eye-opening dialogue and if there's anything you will do -- it's think.

Ep 217: An Identity Crisis in the Corpses of Congress

Our Senators are half dead, our late night show hosts are narcissistic maniacs, our influencers are toxic, and the leader of the free world doesn't even know where he is. Money is dictating your life and your sovereignty so wake up and smell the coffee that is your bank account. Robert Breedlove, one of the country's biggest financial and Bitcoin influencers, joins me in a humanized, entertaining, and deep conversation to understand why Bitcoin is relevant to ANY free thinker -- and it's a totally unique approach to the bigger Bitcoin dialogue on the whole. The wildly popular "What Is Money?" show host and I crack into: crypto bro stereotypes, scams, and control -- from what's shadow-banned to why we have to sell our souls for a tank of gas. You may think this ep has nothing to do with you, but you best open your mind and wallet for this much-needed reality check impacting you on the daily.

Join me with the wildly talented and down-to-earth guys of Skinny Living, Ryan, Danny, and Will, at Analog in Nashville. Ep 213: In Bed with Dr. Robert Malone

Ep 213: In Bed with Dr. Robert Malone

A rebel with a cause, Dr. Robert Malone is a world-renowned physician who was just a little too inconvenient for the powers that be during the pandemic. As an architect of mRNA technology, Dr. Malone voiced concerns over Covid vaccine safety and mandates (going viral on Joe Rogan) and -- to no surprise -- was completely defamed. Sticking it (no pun intended) to Fauci and every major US media outlet, he's made his speaking rounds, he's fostered a massive Substack following, but now the Cancelled King is here like you haven't seen him before. In Cancel Me, Baby style, we're peeling back the curtain as Dr. Malone enters the chat with his partner in (thought) crime, confidante, and in many ways, the brains behind his operation, his longtime wife Dr. Jill Malone, to share their story in a different light. Now let's get to it, #thescience is waiting.

In PT 2 of my continued chat with Conner Moore of the Conner Wanders podcast (formerly Politically Homeless), we explore: if Entourage was really misogynistic, male victim mentality (it's a thing), why millions of young men worship Andrew Tate (aside from the fact that they must be blind and deaf), and how to remedy the mess on the whole and get men back on track.

He's seen some things. And he's here to report back. Literally. Matt and I talk about his concerning findings in the unprecedented Twitter Files around power, influence, and control of information and thought. From testifying in Congress, to his falling out with (hypocrite much?) Elon Musk, and the IRS showing up at Matt's door -- punches are not to be pulled. We discuss getting shut out by our narrative-driven editors, our experiences at legendary outlets like Rolling Stone and Playboy (that both went from cutting edge to thought police), the bizarre left-right role reversal in the culture wars, and the future as the death of legacy media is more brutal and dragged out than the Red Wedding.

Is it fun and empowering? And dudes, stick around. You don't need to be a Barbie fan or even see it to enjoy this ep, in which, yes I answer the questions above, but dig into themes around objectification, power, and entertainment social commentary on the whole. Ep 207: No-D*ck Andrew Tate Is Not Your Hero

Covid ain't shit. The insecure male is the new pandemic in town. From Jonah Hill to Dave Portnoy, and the mother-load of the Andrew Tate-Tucker Carlson sit-down, this episode discerns the difference between plain insecurity and true misogyny in this all-around mess of masculine identity I've been vocal about for years. Big picture, guys: Why did 50 million people watch the Tate-Carlson circus show in one day? Further, why did it resonate with so many as gospel? Hate to say I told you so, but as an advocate for the restoration of REAL, honorable masculinity, I could've predicted this years ago. And if Andrew Tate is your messiah of what a man should be, consider me concerned... and yourself cancelled.

Ep 206: Watch This AI-Themed Ep Before Your Robot Version Beats You To It

While tech companies race in their taking-over-our-consciousness-but-make-it-chic era, I have some major questions about AI and the accelerated pace its moving. With me is expert Artem Petrov (@tommyart), recent Tech Creative Director at META (formerly at Snapchat) with a new project GetGen AI. He weighs in on our existential concerns like: AI dwindling (or helping?) kids' brain cells in schools, its effect on social interaction, potential to eradicate artists and real people jobs and taking over our brains, and the indistinguishable physical avatars we can have in the metaverse. PLUS, his new DEI Standard-aligned project that is FASCINATING fodder for (and potentially at odds with?) the Cancel Me, Baby philosophy.

Ep 203: (PT 2) Disability Virtue Signaling vs. Reality

PART 2: Our panel picks up where we left off as Caitlyn and Chris dive into disability as its portrayed in our culture and the mainstream, under the "diversity" buzzword. They both acknowledge the PC antics can be ridiculous and, as Chris put it, "inclusive language is hilarious." ('Cus it is.) But how do entities like the Olympics miss the mark? Why does Hollywood always have to victimize them? Did Kim Kardashian's SKIMS get it right? Do they feel like a punchline? A quota? Does the inclusivity of it all go too far? Enjoy part 2 and be sure to stick around for the behind-the-scenes chat at the end.

PART 1: Ain't no quotas here at Cancel Me, Baby. This is the honest conversation we deserve. Pop culture and advertisers are really proud of themselves for railing "representation" in our heads so much so that we've heard the word more than our own thoughts. But how do people on the other side of it actually feel? Namely, ones with disabilities? I'm joined by two badasses, who happen to be friends and Cancel Me, Baby fans, to find out. Chris Koch (@ifican.chriskoch) was born with partially developed limbs, is a Tedx and motivational speaker, and will happily screw with people who act weird around him. Caitlyn Pallas  (@caitlynpallas) is technically quadrapelegic, beat stage 3 lymphoma, and prefers the "JUST ASK, don't stare" approach when she's in a wheelchair. So I ask the questions you want to know answers to. Is "disability" even the right word? Are they put in some kind of box? Can people around them lighten up? And so much more.

Ep 201: I'd Take The Weeknd's Rattail Over Your Opinion on Women's Sexuality, Thanks

Ep 201: I'd Take The Weeknd's Rattail Over Your Opinion on Women's Sexuality, Thanks

ATTENTION, LADIES: not sure if you knew this, but you're a victim exploited by men at all costs whether you like it or not, OK? Glad we're clear! But seriously, Hollywood, the media, and the internet's obsession with victimizing powerful women has gotten out of control. Rachel Bilson lost a job for saying she likes being "f*cking manhandled" (no you don't, it promotes toxic masculinity!), and Lily-Rose Depp defends her highly controversial show "The Idol" that Rolling Stone called "torture porn" and the internet called a "grotesque rape fantasy." My question is: have any of these people actually talked to a woman... or listened to the ones here? Our culture's "progressives" have turned into the conservatives they mock, and you all can get snipped like The Weeknd's rattail for boxing women in as far as I'm concerned.

EP 200: OPERATION: SEX GODDESS BODY!

EP 200: OPERATION: SEX GODDESS BODY!

My most personal episode yet. Ep 200 of Cancel Me, Baby shot exactly one year to the day since I began the physical and mental transformation journey of a lifetime. With cultural extremes on all ends dictating image, acceptance, standards, and boxes, this is MY story. Live-action footage included and all, Operation: Sex Goddess Body has landed. And we're just getting started.

Ep 199: Hereby Casting My 2024 Ballot for Naked, Older Celebs on IG

Ep 199: Hereby Casting My 2024 Ballot for Naked, Older Celebs on IG

Maybe I'm just so tired of seeing young girls half naked on Instagram, that middle-aged celebs doing it is a breath of fresh air! Either way, we're taking a break from the heavy political scene today to dive into the very pressing question: Why is everyone getting naked?! It's a Hollywood trend that I'm not sure I even have the answer to, but the journey, the speculations, and the visual aids are fascinating, nonetheless.

Ep 198: Flipping the "Angry Black Girl" Trope on Its Head

Ep 198: Flipping the "Angry Black Girl" Trope on Its Head

No virtue signaling detected here. This striking new social commentary is the real deal. Entering the chat is BAFTA Winner Laya DeLeon Hayes, star of the SXSW-selected horror film "The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster." A chilling "Get Out"-like commentary on urban culture and black-on-black violence, the film depicts the modern black experience inspired by Mary Shelley’s original “Frankenstein." Laya talks about how it feels taking on the iconic Frankenstein role as a woman, her real thoughts on the "angry black person" stereotype and white folks navigating these convos behind the scenes, and her experience as a young black woman with black history and integration versus generations prior. Get your mad scientist hats on and check it out in theaters on June 9 and on demand June 23.
