Tiredness when driving can lead to serious collisions. It's important that you understand the consequences of driving tired and what you can to do help prevent it. So this episode is great for anyone learning to drive, taking a theory test or taking a driving test.
As always, I highly recommend discussing the issues around tiredness and taking a break at the appropriate times with your driving instructor.

Level crossings - Theory test questions.
Within this episode I explore to key questions for anyone studying the theory test:
"What should you do if you break down on a level crossing?"
"What should you do if the lights keep flashing after the train has passed at a level crossing?"
These types of questions are quite common on the theory test, but they are also important to understand for driving lessons, driving tests and driving after the test. So be sure to ask your driving instructor to let you practice level crossings where possible.

How to learn the theory test.
What do I need to learn? Where can I find the information? What apps should I use? What's the Highway Code?
All questions I frequently get asked when discussing the theory test and in this episode I answer them. I'll provide you with the best resources to use and give you a good idea of how to use them. I also provide some tips around using the multiple choice apps and how to get the most out of them.
Is it possible to just memorise all the theory test questions and answers? Probably, but that's not going to help you on you're driving lessons and driving test if you don't actually understand them.

Top 10 driving test fails - 8. Not responding correctly to traffic signs.
In this episode we look at ''Not responding to correctly to traffic signs.' Which is the 8th most common reason people fail a driving test. As always we look at the faults and the potential reasons behind the faults.
So if you're currently studying for the theory test or, preparing for a driving test, this is a key episode to check out. We look at some key exampes such as learners failing to come to a complete stop at a stop sign, driving in a bus lane and using an incorrect land at a roundaboout. We explain why these would be considered a serious fault on the driving test and look at what may have caused the fault.
In most situations, the fault that you fail a test on, is actually the result of something else. Perhaps thinking about the examiner rather than the road, maybe you're feeling peer pressure from other drivers, so ignore a speed sign assuming they're right and you're wrong.
Whatever the initial or eventual fault, if you can think about this and put it into practice on your driving lessons, then you'll be in a much better position when test day arrives.

Parking - Theory test questions.
Parking questions on the theory test can often be a little confusing. The answers can sometimes seem very simple and obvious, almost like it's a trick questions. But much like practical driving and the driving test, usually, the best option is the safest.
On the flip side, there are some questions like 'how far do you need to park from a junction?' that are largely memory based and we need to learn a specific number.
In this parking episode I take a look at a few of the parking questions that I often get asked about.

When to flash your headlights - Theory test questions answered.
Flashing headlights can be seen up and down the UK's roads, but when should we actually flash our headlights. This was a question asked by one keen listener and that's what I answer today.
I'll cover the specific theory test question and provide other examples of when you shouldn't do it, such as trying to warn other drivers about a police speed van. I also discuss the effect peer pressure has on drivers and how this can influence them to make bad choices.

Top 10 fails - Not moving off safely
We continue our look into the top 10 reasons people fail a driving test, today looking at 'not moving off safely,' which is number 5 in the list provided by the DVSA.
We look into some key examples such as pulling away from behind a parked car and moving away after the park on the right exercise. But as with each of these episodes, we delve into the underlying causes. Often the reason for the fault is more telling. Is your focus in the correct place? Have you had enough practice? Do you actually understand what you have to do?
