Caroline Bottomley is founder of the Shiny Awards, who promote new and under-represented directors via monthly Awards held at ad agency and brand offices. Shiny’s network spans hundreds of APA & AICP production companies, agencies & brands including Mother, Iris, AMV BBDO, Havas, Droga5, Universal, Sony, Warners, BBC, GiffGaff, ENGINE, M&C Saatchi, Facebook, 72andSunny.

Caroline founded Radar Music Videos in 2006, the first commissioning platform of its kind, it was acquired in 2017. She’s worked in TV production, ran club nights, gigs and art events in Sheffield at The Leadmill, for which she won various awards. Caroline has an MBA in Marketing.

Gabrielle Motola is an award-winning portrait and documentary photographer and author of “An Equal Difference” an exploration of gender equality in Icelandic society. She works on long-term projects around the world, often traveling solo by motorcycle, and uses crowdfunding to finance her projects. Her mission is to connect people and create an environment where equality has an opportunity to flourish. She is regularly commissioned as a teacher, mentor, and public speaker. Gabrielle sits on the board of directors for the Association of Photographers.

The Association of Photographers was first formed in 1968 as the Association of Fashion and Advertising Photographers and is one of the most prestigious professional photographers' associations in the world.

The Association's aims are: to promote and protect the worth and standing of its members, to vigorously defend, educate and lobby for the interests and rights of all photographers, especially in the commercial photographic industry.

Hannah Yoon is a Korean Canadian freelance photographer based in Philadelphia. Hannah is one of the founding members of the Authority Collective.

The Authority Collective is a group of more than 200 womxn, non-binary and gender expansive people of colour working in the photography, film and VR/AR industries, based in the US. The collective’s mission is to empower marginalised artists with resources and community, and to take action against systemic and individual abuses in the world of lens-based editorial, documentary and commercial visual work.

With a strong interest in social and racial justice, Hannah is also a proud member of Women Photograph and Diversify Photo.

Greg Funnell - Photographer & Director - Tea & Water Talks

Greg Funnell is a London based editorial and advertising photographer, working globally for a roster of international publications and clients, ranging from high end commercial clients to charities.

Greg has spent the last 13 years shooting everything from commissioned celebrity portraits to travel assignments, in-depth documentary features and development work in the field for NGOs. He also works in the commercial and advertising sector producing campaigns and content for clients on international campaigns, especially in the travel, lifestyle and adventure industries.

His work for charities and NGO’s in the UK and abroad, involves being relied upon to deliver the goods in often unstable environments. Having worked extensively across Africa, South East Asia and Latin America for clients.

Greg has also lectured on photography and the industry at institutions and universities throughout the UK, and has been approached as a consultant on numerous projects. He is a full member of the AOP, a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society and has completed the Hostile Environment Training Programme.

Greg is also a co-host, along with photographer Tom Barnes, of ‘The Exposed Negative’ podcast – a show about the photographic industry and all that is involved.

Craig Reilly is a London based street photographer. Craig is the co-founder of Street Photography International and is an Olympus Ambassador. An internationally published photographer his work has been featured in Time Out London, Olympus Magazine, Practical Photographer magazine, Bureau of Arts and Culture magazine, the UK photography show at the NEC, Birmingham; as well as many websites including Fubiz, Creative Boom, and Mirror Lessons. He has also been commissioned to work on projects for major brands such as Sony Xperia, Accor Hotels, Brompton Bikes and CHPT3.
Amongst his inspirations are Henri Cartier-Bresson, Richard Avedon, René Burri, Matt Stuart and Alex Webb.
