Technology is a tricky thing that doesn't always evolve at the same pace and the impact it has on society is undeniable but is there a point where companies should forgo chasing the latest technological innovation and just focus on their core business? 

Monica Sasso, Financial Services EMEA Chief Technologist at Red Hat, joins me to discuss whether banks should just be banks and what the future of finance could be as it continues to evolve with technology.

The new normal is a phrase that we've all heard being used to describe the way that productivity has changed in the past 2 years.
While the discussion often centers around companies and employees adapting to remote or hybrid ways of working, I think that it should also be used to describe how the software and technologies we use should work together to help us achieve our goals, but in order to do that, the big tech companies would need to adopt a strategy that breaks down the silos of communication and foster an environment of communication, problem-solving and finding the best solution for the end-user.
