We wanted to share the most important and some may say the most overlooked aspect of property management, which is "how communication is carried out".
Imagine just for a minute just how many messages, channels of communication there are available to the property management industry and equally so the tenants.
We're trying to make complex simple.

What will get us the biggest up side, product development, profit and break-even or customer happiness?

Have you ever walked down the road, met someone you didn't know to well and walk away inspired?
Well this is what happened yesterday. I went for a end of day walk with the dog (Oban) and came across a neighbour.
We talked about stuff, and we talked about "what's up" WhatsApp.
What I started to realise is there are some technologies that everyone should use, but for many, they simply pass you by.
WhatsApp has not passed us by, in fact, we have spent days and days, hours upon hours looking at how the features work and ...... dare I say it, not work (I know what you're thinking, WhatsApp is huge and worth billions, how can they possibly be doing anything wrong, and.... how does tenancy Stream think for a minute it has the know how to possibly look to advance the WhatsApp model).
But, let me say when I was a tenant, I knew very very well how WhatsApp failed me.
Now, what I'm not saying is that those property management businesses and tenants using WhatsApp are wasting there time using it, no that not my thinking, but in yesterdays podcast I talked about connecting the dots from an innovation point of view, and I think there are some features that we have built-in Tenancy Stream that for property managers and tenants the features work better than the way the features work on whats app.

What we're building at Tenancy Stream is not new, I want to make that very clear.
Communication between tenants and property managers has been a thing for many many years.
What we have done is simply try and advance some of the recent digital communication technologies to make them meet today's needs.
Remote working means you need to be able to do property management from anywhere on any device, Tenancy Stream allows you to work from desktop, laptop and mobile from anywhere with wifi or mobile signal.
Have we tried to invent a new idea in property management? nop.
Are we innovating for both tenants and property managers? yup.

We have learnt a bit about our audience and how we can gather them through Facebook ads.
We have also learnt:
1 - Our customer might not have time to learn what our product is, so a demo gets the message directly to then.
2 - Customers on a demo say they like the idea, but do they like the idea of using the platform?
3 - We can scale Facebook ads as much as we want now, as we have found the perfect audience and a very good cost per lead.

5: Facebook advertising during the covid-19 lockdown?
EP. #5 - What are we learning new through our use of Facebook advertising during the covid-19 lockdown?
A few things that we're learning and we wanted to share.
- You can learn fast with Facebook ads as there is a very "active audience" online at any given time.
- Many of your competitors will now not be advertising, but your customer has not vanished. This means your advertising could cost up to 70% less than it did before the Covid-19 lockdown.
- Colour is king, people see adverts differently now with Covid-19 lockdown affecting their perspective, creative changes can lead to more success.
- £3 per day can get significant learning, £3 per campaign by the way. We use Facebook £3 ads as market research.
- Facebook is a great place to test out new business idea and pivot ideas quickly.
