Styles of parenting have a way of stirring up conflict like few other things. Perhaps that’s because parenting is so real. We’ve all been parented - for better or worse - and many of us are parents. Most of us will be - again, for better or worse.

In today’s episode, we have Patricia Lewis on to share about an alternative to the traditional fundamentalist spanking-centered approach. Patricia is a mom herself, with training as a foster parent and as a special ed teacher. Titus is a parent of three children, three and under. It gets real and practical.

Justice is such an important part of the restoration of God's rule on earth. Today we are featuring a conversation that Rebekah Mui hosted over at the Kingdom Outpost. The three guests were our very own Francis,  Derek Kreider of the Fourth Way Podcast, and Joash Thomas, who is Canada's national director for the International Justice Mission, the largest anti-slavery organization in the world. They talked about the tension faced when nonviolent Christians are faced with situations involving extreme oppression and abuse. Do we cooperate with the sword of the state in these cases? Joash shares from his wisdom and experiences fighting injustice around the world in this rich conversation.

By the way, Francis had to leave half way through the podcast. It's not like Rebekah muted him to avoid further nonsense spewing forth. Stop assuming the worst.

Mennopolls is at it again, showing some of the dark underside of the conservative Anabaptism world. 10% of conservative Anabaptists seem to be okay with using the n-word to refer to black people. Titus rants about this despicable reality and a very white Dru adds his privileged perspective. Then, Titus makes a case for baptismal regeneration and Dru pushes back with his signature druance.
