Hi Fellow Geeks!
The Franklin Armstrong Collective is proud to present a new podcast focused specifically on comic books. That's Canon will take an issue, an arc, a trade paperback or a comic event and review it on the show.
Hosted by Tobi and Doc from #GeektastiqCypha and Dave Koziol, co-creator of Trinity from Squared-Idea, the show was born out of the mutual appreciation they all have for comics. Combined, the boys have been reading comics for 50+ years and with all that knowledge, they plan to tackle the interesting, the abstract and the mundane. The show will help folks make a pull list, start a collection and avoid the stories no one ever needed.
In our first episode, we review Moon Knight (2016) Vol. I, which collects issues 1-5 of the Jeff Lemire and Greg Smallwood run.
We also introduce 2 segments
Judgment Call: In the first round two hosts select a character that they feel is unappreciated in their respective worlds. They each get 3 mins to plead their case to the third host (the Judge). In round 2, they take 1 min to take down their opponent's character. In the end, the Judge selects a winner.
Best/Fave/Worst: A theme is selected and the hosts pick the best, their favorite and the worst related to the theme. In this first episode, the hosts select their Best/Fav/Worst X-Men (other than Wolverine).
More segments will be introduced in future episodes, check the That's Canon page on
FranklinArmstrong.com for more info.
