The BASE: CAMP - Clinical Anatomy Mentorship Program

Welcome to the BASE - a podcast dedicated to Building Approachable Surgical Experiences for students in the State of Kansas and beyond.

Here on the BASE, we offer an opportunity to get to know surgeons in various specialties & sub-specialties paired with board-relevant "pimping" sessions to help you prepare for your surgery rotation, subject exam, and Step 2 CK.

In this episode, we are joined by three very special guests - Dr. German Berbel, DO (General Surgery), Dr. Jennifer Diebolt, MD (ENT), and Dr. Emily Johnson, MD (Urology) - who will discuss with us their path to medicine, why they chose surgery, and their role in the creation and expansion of the Clinical Anatomy Mentorship Program - a near-peer surgical anatomy and surgical skills teaching program.
