The Challenger Male: Welcome to Manhood
By Don Parkis
I am just a dude that has experienced some major pitfalls that helped me realize that I had no idea what it really meant to be a man! I was tired of looking in the mirror and seeing the reflection of a man with no purpose, no drive, no focus… Maybe it's time… for a change. Change is never easy. But I had to get comfortable being uncomfortable! I had to shake things up! If you're ready to do the same, "rebirth" your manhood, you may be ready for The Challenger Male - where we challenge males to become men.
Stay Manly,
Don
The Challenger Male: Welcome to ManhoodDec 07, 2020
Dude...Be Accountable To You
Gents: It is time to master ACCOUNTABILITY! I get having accountability partners are important, but YOU have to look yourself in the mirror and finally say "enough is enough, it is time to change and no partner is responsible for this...it is ME that has to own this and get s**t done! ....The best thing we can do is learn how to manage our time. Man-up. Show-up. Don't give up.
Push through until you breakthrough!
Challenge: Have that one on one conversation with yourself and tell yourself it is time to MAN-UP and make some changes! Free yourself from the BS distractions that have roadblocked your road to success!

STOP wasting your time
Gents: Stop the guesswork....there is no such thing as work/life balance. It is just LIFE balance. The best thing we can do is learn how to manage our time. Man-up. Show-up. Don't give up.
Push through until you breakthrough!
Challenge: Is there something important to you where you feel like you hit a dead end? Where you want to quit, but at the same time, this mission is important to you? I challenge you to dig in...go 100% and identify the one thing you want to accomplish and figure out where to fit this into your daily schedule.

What I Learned About Ingratitude
Fellow Dudes!
Today I learned about manning-up with GRATITUDE and fighting INGRATITUDE...more importantly how to handle ingratitude.
I was listening to The Daily Fuel podcast with Garrett J. White of the Warrior Way, and the topic was about INGRATITUDE. I learned that I need to lose the toxic f**k tards...think about the amount of energy we waste on ungrateful people not only affects us but those around us! Time to stop letting this shit bother you! I know easier said than done- well I didn't say it would be easy!...
Challenge: Be mindful of opportunities to say THANK YOU to someone who helped you, no matter how big or small! And take it one step further- is there someone who has helped you, where you could have expressed gratitude but didnt? Go find this person (if you can) and remind them of the time they did something that was super helpful, apologize for not thanking them, and then thank them. You'd be surprised how this could affect a person. So don't be a dick, just do it!
Jump over to The Challenger Male Facebook page, comment if you did this or not! Share your experience...Also feel free to comment on challenges you are experiencing, things that are holding you back in health, wealth, relationships. We can make topics of this, bring in guest speakers, etc.
Stay manly,
Don
Stop Being A Quitter
Gents: Stop being a quitter....stop giving up when things get tough. Man-up. Show-up. Don't give up.
Push through until you breakthrough!
Challenge: Is there something important to you where you feel like you hit a dead end? Where you want to quit, but at the same time, this mission is important to you? I challenge you to dig yourself out of your pit of despair and find a way!

I Screwed Up
Men: Thank you for stopping by and listening to me rant! This is my attempt to build a community where we can share, inspire, and grow.
This episode is all about screwing up! Yes, we all screw up sometimes. What's important is how we learn from this. Accountability is key brothers. Yesterday I talked about being the superhero...today I messed up and lost my cool with my kid. I could tell he was hurt...needed to make amends. Spoke to my kiddo and all squared away. But man, I felt like crap until I did something about it.
Challenge of the Day: If you lost your cool with anyone (kid(s), wife, friend, neighbor, colleague- anyone! Take the first step. Settle it and move on. It is a very fulfilling feeling (not only for you but for the other person as well). Might not feel comfortable, but I am confident it will make a world of difference.

Dad Is My Superhero?
Men: Thank you for stopping by and listening to me rant! This is my attempt to build a community where we can share, inspire, and grow.
This episode is all about being the superhero for your kids. Ask yourself- does your kid look at you like your his or her superhero?! As dads, we are supposed to lead, teach, protect, love, and more! Can you confidently say that you a superhero? Or are you acting more like the supervillain?
Challenge of the Day: Be The Superhero: Hug your kids more today- do something meaningful to your kid(s). Could be spending time playing a video game they like, sports outside, letting them help mow the lawn (I struggled with this one lol)...anything that brings you together and builds an opportunity for your kid to build trust with you.
