Two health coaches on a mission to help you be the most chill person you know. New tips and tricks brought to you each week to help you find your zen. Topics range from nutrition, gut health, brain hacks, meditation, and mindset.
After clients were coming to him time and time again frustrated from not getting the results they wanted in the gym, Chris started to develop programs that incorporated more of the mind and lifestyle adjustments in addition to the physical work.
The 5 x 2 method is a process that reveals the power of your senses that Chris developed to help you tap into the present moment. This process helps you find more peace, gratitude and mindfulness in your life while at the same time sends your body positive feedback loops.
In order to get the physical results you want, you must look at your mental health and lifestyle choices. Chris includes nutrition, mindfulness and sleep routines to help clients get the results they want while at the same time gaining more self love and energy to focus on the things they really love. The physical results come as proxy when you incorporate this work, Chris explains .

When you make the uncomfortable decision to go for a walk instead of reach for the chips in the pantry when you’re feeling stressed, you are building new pathways in the brain, a healthier habit and creating the version of you that you’re striving to be.
Breaking habits and patterns that are holding you back is a b*tch. Plain and simple. Is it worth it? Ask yourself, am I my happiest self mind, body, and soul? If the answer isn’t a hell yes (this doesn’t mean there isn’t ever lows) then the work is worth it.

We are human BEings but sometimes we forget that because of all the things that we must DO. Our to-do lists can keep us from finding our creative flow because we slip into action mode.
By snapping back into the present moment more often we allow creativity to flow and enjoy life's experiences.
Stress and anxiety can creep in when we're "on" all of the time. Allow yourself to just be and watch what creative juices flow through you.

In our overactive mind hack series, we're bringing you simple tools to throw in your toolbox to keep your mind calm more often than not.
Our goal is to help you limit the amount of time you spend in anxious states and give you options to getting out of them in a jiffy.
Today we're talking about unplugging. Our minds race enough, you add the constant barrage of junk we see on our phones, this only fills our brains with more junk.
If you are struggling to quiet the mind down, we encourage you to put the phone down and take a walk in nature. There are studies that show that those that were out in nature had less blood flow to the regions of the brain associated with rumination (the cycle of thoughts).
Introducing The Conscious Craft’s #overactivemindhack podcast series! We will be rolling out hacks to help your mind simmer down now
A peace of mind (literally) can be created, but we it isn’t something that comes without practice. We can create more relaxation in our life, but practicing relaxation. These hacks are to help you achieve mental clarity and emotionally calm states in a jiffy.
We're kicking off this series with mindfulness as our first OMH. The more we stay present the easier it is for intuition, creativity, and ideas to flow.
When we’re stuck in the past and future we may fall victim to the emotional states that those that we’re focusing on because what we focus on is where we are putting our energy.
We give you some simple ways to practice mindfulness so it becomes a regular practice that you can develop.

What we put in our bodies has a direct effect on our mind and emotional well-being. In this episode we talk about why certain foods cause us more stress and what foods we can be adding into our diets to help us combat not only internal stress but external stress as well.
There is now scientific research to back up what journaling does to our minds including reducing stress, boosting happy chemicals in the brain, boosting our immune system and even making us feel more confident.
Not to mention journaling helps you achieve your goals. It provides the blueprint for all those killer ideas you have floating around in your head. But, before they are put into the physical, they’re still just thought bubbles.
Journaling ultimately helps you become more self-aware. When we have self-awareness we're able to not only have more empathy for others but also make positive changes in our own behavior.
We have exciting news!! In this episode, we discuss the release of our custom journal that will help you create healthy new habits and track actionable goals to help you create the sweetest life!
We're creatures of habit, so any meaningful changes that we want to make, we have to change our behavior. And in order to change our behavior, we have to create new habits.
The good news is, you can hack habits so they're easier to create. Rather than relying on willpower alone, you want to put systems in place so that sleeve of Oreo cookies doesn't stop you from reaching your goals.
In this episode we discuss
*Why having goals is necessary
*Why creating new habits is important to achieve the desired goal
*In order to create a new habit you have to really want to do it
*Relying on willpower alone isn't the best strategy for creating a new habit
*Set your environment up for success
*Start small with the desired habit
*Habit stackin' - stack the habit on top of something you already do
*Feel good while you're doing it, maybe play a good song.
*Dua Lipa may or may not be a part of your new routine.
