In this episode of The ESL Sessions Presents: Enigma, we explore Abdullah's experience in coming to the States from Iraq 🇮🇶. After the war, his early years with the Iraq educational system, and even a short story on his interaction with soldiers during the US ocupation, he give us insight from his perspective on confidence as an immigrant in the ealry 2010s.

When we talk about our veterans, and active duty service members as a niche great strides have been made from pushing to end The 22 perday suicide of service members, to reforms on the post-service medical treatment with the department of veteran affairs and each respective branch. But one front we may not have been aware of is the immigration status and deportation of many honorable Soldiers Sailors Marines and Airman. From the the Vietnam War to as recent as the war in Afghanistan, today I am joined by a fellow service member on the front line in the fight to bring our deported veterans home. After 6 years of service 2 combat tours and juggling the United states Immigration system, she guides us through her experience in pushing reforms, patitioning to the us government as well enlightening us on the succes and often failor of what it means to reptraiate our deported Veterans by this organization, en mi communidad. En veces lo controversia o los efectos negativos secundarios médicos. Pero pocas la veces de su orígenes, avances en tecnología o simplemente como sea an estacado como una faceta del día a día de manera secundaria. En este breve resumen exploramos sus origens como conceptos en computación, su desarrollo dentro de las décadas, su efecto en el mundo de diseño gráfico y su futuro, no tan seguro como muchas otras tecnologías de el nuevo milenio.

On this special Veterans Day episode I am joined by one of many veterans dealing with deportation from the United states.
Working with the Deported Veterans Support House, he actively campaigns to spread word of this situation still affecting all service memebers of the US Military.
After over 8 years of Service to the US ARMY, serving in the Iraq war, and multiple tours in training and over seas former ARMY Sgt Ivan Ocon tells us first hand how he, even though is in the same situation is still fighting for our fellow Veterans. En este nuevo segmento de "The ESL Sessions Presents:" hablo con dos miembros de la communidad que han hecho un efecto positivo a su alrededor, sea con las artes, ser voluntarios, o asistir en recursos para mejorar el buen estar y el ambiente de sus comunidades.
En este episodio inaugural, estoy acompañado por Mariano Lemos y Anastacio Duran Medina. Dos miembros de del norte de Nevada ya que por más de 10 años no solo han ayudado introducir el teatro en español, pero también el Ballet Folclórico y Danza Azteca tradicional en Reno Nevada.

I am joined by SSgt ANTONIO GOMEZ,active duty US Air National Gaurdsman,as we discuss his early life coming to this country, his early struggles as an ESL student, the influence of living near the US/MEXICO border before emigrating to the States and finally his service in the US Military.

Early mornings in the dead of the northern Nevada winter, getting ready to go to work and earn those "$5" dollars. Thats how I remember spending some of my weekends growing up in my mexican household. Now as an I adult it brings the questions. What fortune do I have now that I'm a citizen? How did those days working shape me? Even with little opportunities and resources how did we make it? These are things and questions that still to this day are still being asked an observed by my community as well as other communities dealing with the day to day struggle of working as illegals.

What does it mean to be Hispano? What does heritage and culture have to do with pride and honor? When it comes to identifying as a Mexican the lines are grey, especially when you come here at a young age, and in your istablishment to your new surroundings you begin to forget your teachings. Sometimes denying your ancestry. Although it seems lost, there is always a realization. To the graduating class of 20XX,
When you look back on your school days, what do you remember? Who comes to mind? what experiences stand out? For some its a respite, a break from the normal. To others its just another bad memory. After so many years and hearing how things changed...a lot still stays the same. From how the school system is still teaching unnecessary things, to the implementation of the CRT(Critical Race Theory) curriculum and racial episode as an Ethnic student in the United States of America. Its been 10 years since i graduated and I want to welcome you to my a brief Memorum Reunion of these things happening now and once again.
