Sunil Setlur is the Chief People Officer at Gojek. He joined Gojek in 2019 and leads all aspects of human resource (HR) management at the company, with his function supporting thousands of employees around Southeast Asia.

A seasoned HR leader, Sunil has more nearly two decades of experience in the industry. Prior to joining Gojek, he led HR for Google's Partnerships business in APAC, and was a Senior HR Business Partner with Amazon, where he was in charge of HR for groups spanning multiple functions and business lines. He started his career at Accenture and took on a number of leadership roles during his time there, including leading HR for Accenture's Healthcare Management Operations group in the Philippines.

Sunil holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Relations, Economics, and Sociology from Bangalore University, India as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Capital Management from XLRI Jamshedpur, India.

In this episode, Laura and Sasha met with Raj Sundarason to explore digital adoption and the move towards digital adoption platforms like WalkMe. Raj Sundarason is the regional vice president and chief evangelist of WalkMe, the world’s premier DAP provider, and a pioneer of digital adoption, with over 20 years of experience in digital programs. Prior to joining WalkMe, Raj led a digital transformation program for 26,000 employees across 12 countries as a customer of the company. He learned firsthand the challenges with these programs, digital IQ, change management, and quantifying returns on investment.

After becoming part of the WalkMe team, he formulated and executed the Asia Pacific and Japan entry strategy for WalkMe, resulting in a JV in Japan, a strategic equity investment in Singapore, and the establishment of a 40-person full-service team in Sydney, Australia. As of 2020, WalkMe has helped over 140 organizations with their digital transformation programs.

Previously, Raj spent more than 10 years in software sales and leadership. The majority of his career has been in growth roles, building businesses from the ground up. In these roles, Raj has attracted and developed high-performance teams and created an environment for their success, focusing on building predictable businesses where breadth of participation is core.

Raj studied law and psychology in the UK and received his MBA from the Melbourne Business School in Australia. A fan of football and red wine, he now lives in Singapore with his wife and three children.

Ignite Culture Consulting was founded in 2020 by Beverley Simpson, out of her home in beautiful Newcastle, NSW.
