A Conversation with Franc Benji

A Conversation with Franc Benji

On November 4, 1986 Ryan Bell aka Franc Benji was born at Hannaman Hospital in North Philadelphia, PA! Benji started rapping at the age of 13 and was given the nickname Murk due to his reputation in rap cyphers. Unfortunately, in the summer of 2003, things started to take a drastic turn in young Murks life! He was expelled from Architecture and Design Charter Highschool for possession of a firearm on school property, then later shortly after graduating from Shallcross Disciplinary School, he was arrested for an armed-robbery and charged as an adult! At the young age of 17, Murk was released on bail, but returned 3 weeks later for a car-jacking, and criminal conspiracy to a robbery! This time, however, he was in for the long hall and what started off as a 4-8 year sentence turned into a flat 10!

After maxing out his state sentence on February 27, 2017, Benji has released his Mixtape Always Ready on Spinrilla on March 22nd under Get Rite or Get Left Productions and has already worked on projects with artist such as Ginuwine, Gillie Da Kid, Ant Glizzy, AR Trigga, Real Rap, and a few other artists as well! In just 3 months, he released over 20 songs all of which are on SoundCloud, the most famous being a remix to T. Grizzly's FIRST DAY OUT entitled FINALLY FREE! Franc Benji says he won't stop until he has the world---- we'll, he's certainly on the right path considering his work ethics and his ability to make music! He thanks his father/manager Monte Pr'Out for believing in him and supporting him in every way possible, as well as his road managers Mark and D. You can follow Benji on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat under Franc Benji 215 or for serious inquires, you can contact Benji via email at francbenji215@gmail.com!

Mugzy Live

Mugzy Live

Born on the 22nd of January 1991 Mugzy had to fight through his adolescent years. Struggling with deep internal stress, he found inspiration in Eminem after his first encounter with Hip-Hop when he heard the song 'The Way I Am'. Mugzy felt that he could strongly relate to the lyrics in Eminem's songs & began to change his image to be a true representative of the Hip-Hop culture. As he developed his style and studied Hip-Hop, he found further inspiration from the legends: 2 Pac, Biggie, 50 Cent, DMX, & searched further into the roots of Hip-Hop to re-discover artists like Public Enemy, NWA & Nas. Drawing inspiration from the masters of Hip-Hop & armed with the knowledge earned through years of hardship, Mugzy's rap speaks of truth. A raw truth. A truth that will resound with teenagers that have had to endure self doubt & lack of confidence. Mugzy emerged from the shadow through Hip-Hop & found a way to express himself through his music by embracing the culture. Mugzy's style is a blend of grit, raw lyrics, aggression and abrasiveness. Mugzy will tell it how it is. Based north of Sydney, Mugzy will not shy away from any challenge to perform on any stage. There are a lot of performers in the scene that prefer to stay in closed groups, but Mugzy is open to collaboration with all artists that are fighting for their dream & are willing to have a go in a spirit of mutual respect. You can expect Mugzy to continue representing the Hip-Hop Culture, never backing away from any challenge well into the future. Stay Tuned!

Crunch Live

Crunch Live

Crunch Jones is an American rapper born and raised in the streets of Fort Wayne, Indiana. The music he makes is a portrait of the struggles and success of his life coming up. A dedicated writer, Crunch began his journey using the pen as way of expressing the inner voice inside him. He describes his style as the "Ghetto Gospel of Trap Music". He speaks only about the truths from the streets taken only from shear experience.  Before music Crunch was living his life on the edge. He religiously risked his freedom everyday in exchange for money power and respect. During his reign Crunch quickly realized "that life" was not going to bring him any sense of longevity. Instead it opened the door to drama, stress, and death. He knew in that world, time is limited so in order for him to grow out of it he needed a plan to find his way quickly.  The allure of the game was strong but his destiny was greater. Once he changed his soul music saved his life. Music enabled Crunch to be able to dream and eventually open his mind and talents to a greater good. Thru hard work today Crunch has become a next artist on the verge. If you are a trap music fan of Boosie, Yo Gotti and Future you will love CRUNCH. He is a true testament to understanding the meaning of life is art and art is life.  Today Crunch Jones is in the studio night and day as he works on finalizing his debut album, executive produced by Affluent Oscar Sanchez.  The album yet to be titled will be distributed Fall 2017 on J Tizzle Muzic / Affluent / Orchard / Sony. As for now check out new music from AFFLUENT RECORDS this spring "MURDERING TRACKS" & "MONEY ON MY MIND".  Both singles are from CRUNCHís debut EP "CRUNCHTIME" available worldwide in stores May 2017. The 1st Single "MURDERING TRACKS" will be available in stores April 2017 worldwide.

Duals Live

Duals Live

Duals is an artist of eclectic tastes, ranging from spoken word poetry to hip hop to art rock to electronic to even country and punk songs. He seems more concerned on feeling and substance rather than genre and creates emotional human music. His early favourites were artists such as James Brown and Bob Dylan. Poetry became his refuge not too long after he could write and he wrote so often that he developed to an adept writer quickly and began freestyling as early as primary school. He then began engineering himself and friends in middle school. There is no type of art that Duals will not delight in taking inspiration from. He is the founder of the DIY interdependent label Growth Of Culture and created their mantra “Never Influenced…Always Inspired…SpreadLove”

A Conversation with Young Dread

A Conversation with Young Dread

Enormously popular throughout the World and the US, people of all races, nationalities, and ages are attracted to Young Dread. As a result, Young Dread is one of the highest online searched artist that is effectively increasing his ever-so-popular international fan base. Young Dread's songs of determination, rebellion, and faith are finding audiences all over the world.

Born June 30, 1982 in the "low country - Geechee Island region of South Carolina", Young Dread developed his unique slang known as Geechee. His heroes included all of the 75% of slaves that came through the Battery (the auction block in Charleston, SC) and held on to the unique Gullah culture. The Gullah people are directly descended from the slaves who labored on the rice plantations, and their language reflects significant influences from Sierra Leone and the surrounding area. This language can be heard in the lyrics of Young Dread's music and has influenced him and his music greatly. Young Dread was raised by his single mother who went back to college at the age of 33 in order to show Young Dread and his brother and sister that anything is possible if one puts his or her mind to it. Young Dread witnessed his mother work several jobs while she attended the University of South Carolina while managing to stay on the Dean's and President's List. After his Mom graduated from the University Cum Laude, Young Dread always realized that, like his mom, he could achieve anything, and he maintains this thought process to this day. Despite the fact that Young Dread's father ran away after getting his Mom pregnant, his mother never let that stop her from trying to provide the best life possible for all of her children. And despite the fact that Young Dread's father got caught up in the lucrative drug game in Miami, Florida, which soon lead to his ultimate fate as an overdose victim, Young Dread has always prevailed.

A Conversation With Knocka Pt. 2

A Conversation With Knocka Pt. 2

Mark Roberts A.K.A. was born on 14th as "Knocka". His life was so rough and experienced with poverty. Wagner, the neighborhood where he was brought up, was one among the most dishonorable places. This location is situated on the Eastern side of Harlem. He spent his early days at 124th difficult living in the neighborhood with his only mother, two brothers and a sister. Knocka experienced a poverty life as his mother was working in a post office. He was so unfortunate because of his mother’s insufficient income and experienced a very miserable life with his brothers and sisters. The survival was very difficult for him and his family because of the lack of food. About 2010, things went unfavorable to Knocka. While he experienced a shortage of money, he was not able to spend as he was doing earlier. Consequently, his friends appeared to start changing and acting in a different way. They started spreading rumors that Knock has been running out of money and he would soon be collapsed. For two years Knocka stopped doing party music because his friends detached their relationship from him and Knocka started speaking about his pain caused by his friends. At present, Knocka is in a situation talking about the bitter experiences he faced in his life while being poetic and making relevant music. Follow his voyage as he strives to modify the world. Now Knocka is running his new music team, which is equipped with artists Billy Clooney and Wave Blaze. These artists create fairly a dissimilar sense of music than Knocka. There is only a time constraint earlier than Knocka attains his objectives and gets his huge break. Therefore, continue supporting Knocka and he will understand it. He's back again!!

A Conversation With John Thomas

John Thomas is a Rapper/Singer who was born and raised in Romulus, Michigan John was raised in a Christian household and became saved at the age of twelve years old; he took on rap at the age of thirteen rapping like his favorite rappers at that time. John grew up in a musical family his father was singer and his mother was a choir director, John also grew up playing instruments like the saxophone and drums and was involved in the choir at his church.

Through out his school years John would always rap and sing songs to get through the day or just for fun music was always with him everywhere he would go, it was a big relaxer in his life to the point he was writing his own music, it started with freestyling over instrumentals from some of his favorite songs or finding instrumentals to make original songs to.

Around the age of 18 years old John began to build his relationship with God and did his first rap performance at his church Bethel Deliverance Tabernacle International, with another member of the youth.
