The first in a series, Santa Cruz Poet Laureate Danusha Laméris and poet Dion O’Reilly host a show featuring poems about Santa Cruz. Included is work from Ellen Bass, Joseph Stroud, Gary Young and also a few written by the hosts. Dion O’Reilly interviews Julia Levine. Julia B. Levine has won numerous awards for her work, including the Northern California Book Award in Poetry for Small Disasters Seen in Sunlight.  She has three other books: Ditch Tender, Ask, and Practicing for Heaven. She received a PhD in clinical psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and an MFA in Creative Writing from Pacific University. She lives and works in Davis,California.
