The Lou Cappetta Show

Dani Faith Leonard comes on the show for a record 4TH TIME!!!! She talks about what may be her last show at Caveat when Adult Sex Ed Returns on 2/15, moving on from Big Vision Empty Wallet, her upcoming film "Coast", and what she would like to do next (besides come on our show a fifth time)! All that and some reminiscing on periods and 90201!

It's our first episode since January, and the guys return with updates and laughs. No Yag, so that means plenty of jokes are thrown his way while he can't defend himself. Plus we will talk a little Zion, Logan/Jake Paul, and DS's new Miami adventures. Welcome us back and listen !

This week the guys are joined by comedians Chris Calogero and Emily Winter. They talk about what it's like to be married to each other and comedy, how their careers changed due to the pandemic, Twitter videos, weight watchers, and the classic Italian sauce/gravy debate. In an impromptu episode, Lou and Jeff talk to their friend Kevin Wilson of The drinking Liberally Podcast about the events at the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. on Wednesday January 6th. The guys try to make sense of it all, and just have an open discussion about the state of the nation as the country prepares for Joe Biden to take office.

The NBA season has begun and for the first time in a long time, it's an exciting era for the Knicks. Knicks Twitter has been a fun place, so who better to talk about the Knicks with the woman I have dubbed "The Queen of Knicks Twitter", Erin R. We talk about what we expected going into the season, the first week, and what we want to see in this upcoming week...and of course, we talk about Erin's guy "Thibs!" 

Jeff is back joining Lou and it's a midwest love fest as the guys are joined by Cleveland's own Samantha Bunten of NBC Sports. As a lifelong Indians fan (and current consultant to the team), Samantha talks about the team's name change process, and some ideas about good names going forward that have nothing to do with Spiders. We also talk about the early days of Bleacher Report, Manny Ramirez, and how Albert Belle is misunderstood. 

Fresh off our monumental "Trump" interview, we get to talk to the man behind the best Trump impressions around, comedian J-L Cauvin. We talk about his post-Trump plans, the current state of comedy, and being compared to Sarah Cooper. He also gives us a sneak peak at his new Dave Chappelle-inspired comedy video. Donald Trump is trying to destroy the country and your guys Lou, Jeff, and Wiltshire are here to help you though it, with a little help from our new friend, political  democratic strategist Jessica DeLoach. We try to sort out the conspiracy theories surrounding this past election, what a crazy place Parler is, and, of course, Donald Trump. This is another fun episode, chock full of terrific information as well. Don't worry, we got your back...I mean it's not like we could be any worse than OAN.

This week, Lou's favorite author Jeff Pearlman makes his third appearance on the show. He talks about his new book about the Kobe/Shaq/Phil Laker years, "Three Ring Circus". He'll tell some interesting stories from the book, the reaction to the book post-Kobe Bryant's tragic death, and the book he's currently working on. Wiltshire also gets called out for his fake Skype background, and the two paint swatches his true background reveals. It's a fun episode, and a must listen for any hoops fan.

It's been a minute but we are back with an episode we recorded at the end of summer. Our guest, Joh D. Contradiction is an MC/Producer out of New York. He also his the host/creator of the hip hop review podcast/website "Not Ya Manz". We talk all things hip hop, including the good review he gave of Lou's summer mixtape "Things left unsaid". Plus they talk about Lou getting called out by some young MC "Lil Nut". Welcome back!

This week the guys are joined by comedian Chrissie Mayr. She talks about her new podcast 'The Chrissie Mayr Podcast", he Compound Media show The Wet Spot, and what's it like when your boobs have their own social media accounts, and you don't run them. We also delve into what the hell is up with Chad Zumock, going down a conspiracy theory rabbit hole, and, of course, Lenny Dykstra.

This week, our new friend Dr. Lovejoy returns as a guest co-host, and brings her friend King Lexa to be our guest. She's a bad ass Fin-Dom who financially dominates her "minions". This episode turns into a nsfw laugh riot as King Lexa describes in great detail what things like ball busting and cock pigs are. We also talk about her journey through her career, and her charity "Bigger than Sex" that she's working on in partnership with The Cupcake Girls. This may be our most fascinating episode yet.

This week the guys are joined by hip hop legend El Da Sensei.of Artifacts. He talks about coming up in hip hop's golden age, what it was like to be an MC from New Jersey, and the current state of hip hop. He also talks about his recent project with Sadat X, and how it took six years to make, and gives us Artifacts fans a special announcement. This is a must listen for all 90s hip hop fans! 

Another socially distant episode is here. This week's the guy's have their first 3 time guest as Dani Faith Leonard returns. She talks about life in this time of quarantine, including running Big Vision, Empty Wallet as well as updates on her film "Rush Island". In these times, nothing is more important than family, so with Lou unavailable this week, Jeff takes over the show with a very special co-host...his daughter Addison. It's light hearted cuteness at its best, as Addison proves that she is a much better co-host than her father. 

The guys are all remote enjoying their first "Socially Distant Happy Hour". They check in on former guest Chelsea White and Her boyfriend, musician Tash Neal. The group shares drinks and laugh, talks about Chelsea's Instagram show "What A Delight With Cheese White" and Tash's adventures with Dame Dash, including his trip to 105.1's morning show in NYC, The Breakfast Club. A great time with a super talented couple, and Jeff tricks Lou in telling his Keith Murray story.

Producer and owner of the NYC speakeasy Caveat, Kate Downey joins the guys this week. She talks about co-owning one of the most unique venues in Manhattan. She also talks abut being the executive producer of Never The Less She Existed, a Caveat show and podcast that is "The Feminist History Party You've Been Waiting For"!

The guys celebrate their 50th episode with author/comedian Selena Coppock! Selena helps Lou figure out what a "reply guy" is, attempts to help Yag discover what his candle journey would be while plugging her podcast "Two Wick Minimum", and shares some Bob Seagar love with Jeff. All this, and multiple references to Nickleback!!!! (And yes, we did allow her to go back to NYC).
