We discuss the importance of building a strong network, finding mentors and keeping the values learned at home close to your heart.  Timothy Minor is the vice president for University Advancement for the University of North Carolina System.  Timothy served as the associate vice chancellor for University Advancement at North Carolina A&T State University for five years where he led fundraising initiatives and day-to-day operations of A&T’s central development office.  Timothy attributes his successful career to his roots growing up in High Point North Carolina, where the most valuable lessons in life came from family friends teachers and coaches who mentored him.
