The Naked Podcaster

The Naked Podcaster

By Mom Of 18
How do I have 18 kids but I'm naked for the world to see? In 2015 three kids came forward that their dad was physically abusive and I got full custody. In 2016 I wrote my book about my struggle growing up. I wanted to be an example to my kids and for them to know they weren't alone in their struggle, even if the "issue" is different. I also wanted them to be unafraid of sharing their story, getting help and building a support team. In 2017 the podcast was launched and my goal was to share OTHER people's stories and what helped. It's unconventional, gritty, explicit, raw, edgy and vulnerable!

Psychic Abilities Blocked to Helping Others Access Psychic Abilities with Emily Davis
I have known of my psychic abilities for as long as I can remember but by the time I had entered middle school I realized that they were 'weird' and began trying my absolute best to shut them off. Which resulted in mass amounts of fear and the overall blocking of my intuition and landed me in a very abusive relationship right out of high school. Nearly five years and two kids later I left him and had truly run out of things to be afraid of, and decided I was going to figure out how to use my abilities. However, they were SO BLOCKED. I spent the next four years overcoming my trauma and opening up my gifts and now I help others to access their psychic abilities and learn to use them without fear! We all have them and it is sure awesome to have some help to see them!    I am now a best-selling author and podcast host as well of the metaphysical comedy podcast, Perceptionists Anonymous.    Connect with Emily: https://www.facebook.com/groups/masteryourmagic/     https://www.damselnomore.com/   https://www.instagram.com/likerofwords/

Dr Foojan therapy session #2 - Sex!
In our second therapy session, Dr. Foojan and I discuss sex! We dive into loss and guilt, patience with life changes, the connection between orgasm and punishment, how I'm accepting of some changes but not of others, designing sexual rewards, and reclaiming fun in sex. She also encouraged me to try other things, so I had a session with a tantric specialist! I need to remind myself I am a sexy, playful Goddess!   Dr. Foojan Zeine is a Psychotherapist, Life Coach, International Speaker, Author, and Radio/Television/Podcast Host. She has her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. Dr. Zeine practices online therapy and coaching and sees clients in Beverly Hills and San Clemente, California. She has extensive experience treating individuals and couples in restoring their Intimate Relationships, Addictive Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Traumas, and Domestic Violence.   Dr. Foojan is the originator and the author for “Awareness Integration” educational and psychological model, a multi-modality approach, and intervention toward minimizing Depression, Anxiety while improving Self Esteem and Self Confidence. Core Thinking Blueprint Coaching with Eileen Bild
Eileen was fantastic! She encouraged me to NOT upsell (it makes me uncomfortable) but to have different programs that meet different needs, Have sponsors for scholarships using businesses I know, I need to learn how to best help people and what my end result is.    A strength I have is meeting people where they're at and holding space for them, so to remember that.   She emailed me about my homework post-interview and here's what I had done:   I"m currently moving my website to a new host (Wordpress to Simplero) and their team has a list of things to do. One of them is editing my pages, adding the coaching, speaking, "as seen on", FAQ. Part of the new website is also a scholarship program "create a scholarship" plan I can use I"m working on my coaching programs! YAY! And workshops, 5-day events, 2-hour events, etc.. Putting them together.   I've updated the FB group and am working on the page Launching a second podcast (Compounding Joy)   Creating 12 topics or "pillars" for subjects that videos and blogs will go under. That breaks it down into 12 months, and LOTS of videos under each topic I now have taglines for the podcast(s), mom of 18 (working on it still) and compounding joy and created the infographics for them On the list is to do a new skillset sheet (take me through my own program) Created a job description to hire out some of the tasks that take time and I'd like to off-load - possibly an intern through our university I had a meeting last week for social media marketing   I have a separate company looking at keywords, SEO and my competitive market (decided it shouldn't be parenting, but more transformational coaching) which will give me two different perspectives on this I completed opt-in freebies for my podcast page(s) - it's AWESOME!, my home page (a quiz I created and offer), and a media kit for the speaking page I'm taking two courses that each give an additional certification in coaching   SINCE THEN: I've completed almost all of the above. I need to take myself through my skillset workshop again and I'm in the process of completing 5 courses.   On top of completing the above, I've also hired several people to help me with the things I'm not great at - Pinterest, copywriting, re-titling all blog posts, creating infographics, updating and finishing the website content, a sales page, my LinkedIn profile is being updated, I have one webinar ready, the FB group is now private and growing, I have one main coach for a year, a "dress for success" branding coach, a finance and energy coach that I've worked with before. It's been a lot, but having the support makes things easier AND I'm feeling much more confident because I'm not trying to do everything myself. I'm also looking at what I can hire out that will bring in income, not just hiring tasks to get them off my plate. In session #1 together, we dig deep into money, career, blocks I have. Thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, resetting life and integrating the past. I can't remember crying as hard as I did in this episode and how much I learned.   Dr. Foojan Zeine is a Psychotherapist, Life Coach, International Speaker, Author, and Radio/Television/Podcast Host.  She has her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. From a Mom who worked full-time to full-time Indie best-selling author with 28 books - Ann Charles
At this time, I'm an "Indie" author only, no connection with any other publishers. However, I didn't start that way.   I initially struggled to land a big publisher, making it up through the levels at a Big 5 publisher back in 2010, but at the final acquisition meeting, the marketing department thought there wouldn't be a big enough audience for my award-winning novel (Nearly Departed in Deadwood). So, I was rejected. Another publisher liked my writing style but didn't want my book--they wanted me to write stories per their templates, but I knew I wouldn't be happy doing that, so I turned it down.    At first, I thought that this was going to be a horrible ending for this particular book, but it was actually a beautiful beginning to my best-selling series. My agent at the time and I decided to go forth with the book and create a small press. We published my books and several other authors for a few years while I continued to work a "day job" as a technical writer, putting in 80+ hour weeks at the two jobs combined while being a wife and mother of two young kids (my husband has been a major player in helping to make this publishing career possible, playing full-time father while I was juggling my two careers).    In the middle of 2013, I was finally able to quit my day job financially and write full time, but I soon realized I didn't have time to be a mom, write books, publish my own and other books via the publishing company I co-owned, and maintain my sanity. In 2015, I broke off from the publishing company, took back all of my books, and went forth on my own, publishing as "Ann Charles" and that was it--no publisher umbrella. I haven't looked back since. As of May 2020 and the release of the 11th book in my Deadwood Mystery series, I'll have published 28 books (2 of these are co-written with my husband) since January 2011. I have 5 different series running at the moment. They are a mix of mystery, humor, adventure, paranormal, romance, and whatever else feels right.    I have found some amazing readers who not only support me by buying my books but help me tell others about each release and my backlist. A bonus is that every June I go to Deadwood, South Dakota (where the Deadwood Mystery Series is set) and we have the Ann Charles Fan Party Weekend with several book signings, other fun group events, and a big fan party with special guests toward the end of the weekend. It's been a wild ride so far and I'm looking forward to seeing where I go from here in this business.   Website: www.anncharles.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AnnCharlesAuthorPage/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/AnnWCharles Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/Ann_Charles/ Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/AnnWCharles/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDthaBTOMKJ7Yfl7RS40REQ

Brain Cancer, Multiple Craniotomies, Chemotherapy, Endurance Sports, and Attitude -Danny Heinsohn
Hi, my name is Danny Heinsohn and my biggest setback became my greatest opportunity.   Upon college graduation with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering, I was diagnosed with brain cancer. After 15 months of craniotomies, seizure complications, and chemotherapy, I spiraled into depression and lost my sense of identity. I had to relearn how to walk, talk, and tie my shoes.   By the time I got back into "real life," I was broke with a mound of student debt, socially marooned and the economy entered a 2.5-year recession.   I grew up playing sports and consuming sports on traditional media but the parallels between cancer and chemotherapy with endurance sports became my new calling card and I completed my first Ironman.   My B2B sales program yields 10x growth in 3 to 6 months, while my sponsorship sales workshop helps create explosive revenue and impact for events and non-profits.   My Hometown Heroes was created to celebrate the community who supported me with compassion along my journey through brain cancer. Since 2011, My Hometown Heroes has awarded 115 scholarships to college-bound cancer survivors from across the country between 15 and 39 years old.   Over the past 2 years (2018 and 2019) My Hometown Heroes has experienced our highest growth resulting in $60,000 in scholarships awarded. Our mission is to help bridge the gap between cancer and college, one scholarship at a time.   SPEAKER WEBSITE: www.dannyheinsohn.com MY HOMETOWN HEROES SCHOLARSHIPS: www.myhometownheroes.org LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dannyheinsohn/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dannyheinsohn/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Anycjk3bZfI Twitter: https://twitter.com/dannyheinsohn

USAF Officer to financial advisor to spiritual awakening and healing - Stephanie Red Feather
Stephanie and I had a wild ride conversation about the baby she gave up for adoption and how she accidentally found her, her 2 books released November 2019 and how she didn't have support so she makes sure her clients have what was missing for her. IN HER WORDS: Air Force Officer for 10 years, my heart said it was time to get out, I decided to become a financial advisor thinking that would be my career for the next 10 years and quit in less than 6 months because I hated it. The "pre-quake" tremors of my spiritual awakening had begun a couple years prior, but this unexpected departure from the business threw me full force into my spiritual awakening. There's a period of about 5 years that I call "the spiritual crucible" and have described it as living a hundred years in the space of 5. Dark night of the soul, shamanic death and rebirth, shamanic dismemberment, however you want to characterize it, I was being stripped of everything I thought I knew and believed. I was redefining everything. I was lost and had very few tools or mentors to help me. Plenty of cussing at god and gnashing of teeth. When I emerged from the spiritual crucible I felt I had some wisdom, perspective, understanding. This is when I started my spiritual healing business. I felt that if I could make someone else's time in the crucible easier, shorter, less painful, then I felt compelled (my heart called me) to support them.  www.bluestartemple.org FB: https://www.facebook.com/RevStephanieRedFeather LI: https://www.linkedin.com/in/stephanie-red-feather-a927b456/ YouTube:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCu5ueRcOTVNZnaOwAuzwGjQ

Pain, sickness, trauma and cancer to helping others with Amy Lewis
I'm so grateful to know Amy in person. She is an amazing human being and I love to send people her way!   IN HER WORDS:  AS a child I had lots of pain and sickness and trauma. From birth trauma to being molested at 2 years old to lots of throat illness which by the way was all connected! I also had an accident at 10 which ended with a skull fracture. I had severe headaches from then on. In my twenties, I had my first Crainio Session and I could not understand why I would get this huge headache when she would place her hands on my head very lightly.  I had to know more. I took my first class in 1995 and the rest is history. I knew this was what I was to do to help people heal their pain that was stuck in their bodies!   Fast forward to 2004. two little ones, husband, and living in Hawaii. I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer. Life changed in an instant. Through all the issues in my tissues that were the result of illness, birth, early childhood trauma, I developed a great deal of hypervigilance.  It has been my friend throughout my 50 years of living!    I also love CBD and how it helps my body heal and regain homeostasis. I love the support it gives me.   craniowave4u@gmail.com craniowave.com shop.livekaya.com/amy @craniowave4u

Prom King & quarterback, 2 hip replacements and being a mental sports performance coach - Grant Parr
IN HIS WORDS: The reason why I became a mental sports performance coach was due to my career-ending sports (QB - football) injury to the left hip. For almost two decades, I battled identity issues, confidence issues, and depression. I had two hip replacements on the same hip before I was 40 years old. After my first surgery, I was left handicapped for almost four years where I couldn't walk for more than 10 minutes, tie my shoes, and clip my toenails. After my second surgery, I got my life back and decided to redesign my life. I woke up my inner- athlete/inner-warrior after two decades to emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually to create a new Grant. Through about a year and a half of self-discovery, I found my calling as a mental sports performance coach. I went back to school to earn my Masters in Sport Psychology, created my company Game Face Performance, 90% Mental Podcast, and wrote my book The Next One Up Mindset: How to prepare for the unknown. The rest is history. Currently, I am working with Olympic, professional, collegiate, high school, and youth athletes, teams, and coaches. I also work executives (corporate athletes) and corporations to provide mental skills and leadership training. I am playing a big game in my life, career, and relationships. I am loving life!  www.gamefaceperformance.com Linkedin: Grant Parr 90% Mental Podcast: https://www.gamefaceperformance.com/90-mental Book: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1642250767?pf_rd_p=ab873d20-a0ca-439b-ac45-cd78f07a84d8&pf_rd_r=7YZGG1V3D51EC57KJKDG

Living her best life with Multiple Sclerosis - Suzette Sutton-Frazee
I feel blessed to know Suzette and more honored that she was brave enough to come forward and discuss her struggles. She is passionate about helping others, connecting with people and sharing her message of healing. IN HER WORDS: I was raped by a 14-year-old neighbor at the age of 9. My parents weren't home and so my brother's older friend took the opportunity. As I've thought about it over the years, what stands out to me is that he had been grooming me since a young age. I was the one that he had a special nickname for, he always tried to make me feel special. So when the day arrived, I never in a million years thought he would do anything like that. I remember just freezing, not knowing what to do. Over the years, like a typical victim, I found myself making excuses for him (ie. boys will be boys, he was still a nice guy, he was also molested). Then I got to an age where I was like, NO. What he did was wrong. As I talked with people from many different walks of life, I found out that virtually EVERYONE knows someone who was molested as a child, whether it be themselves or someone else. This is unacceptable and needs to change. I was pretty emotionally needy, as a child. I was the youngest of four kids. My father was a good man, but he was very strict, so there wasn't a whole lot of freedom to be yourself. My mother was sick most of my life. She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when I was 4. I watched her body decline and by the time I was 19, she was struggling to do basic things for herself. Eventually, I was forced to become a caretaker of my mom at age 12. Why do I say forced? Because no one asked, it was just expected. This had a profound effect on me. I didn't have a normal childhood because of it. Skip to my adulthood. My mom died in 1998. I was 28 and in my last semester of college. I had postponed college to help with my mom. I don't regret this, I'm glad I did. Eventually, I met my now-husband. We settled in Michigan and I had two children. After the birth of my second, a son, I lost the use of my right arm for a time. After many tests, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Was I mad!!! It took me a few months, tears, and prayers to pick myself up from that. I determined that MS wasn't going to define me. I will still do what I have to do, despite it. Several years passed and my kids were now tweens. I came to a place in my life where I decided that I wanted to Branch out beyond being a wife and mother...but I also wanted to make a positive impact in the world. So I decided to write a story that had been on my heart.  What has evolved from the story has been amazing. I've developed a production company named Grace Films, located in Reno. My dream is to produce films that give back to our communities...starting with my first story, 'Flower of the Sun'. Each story that I produce will not only be an impactful story, but a portion of profit will bless several non-profits. 'Flower of the Sun' has partnered with the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Reno, Awaken, and Xquisite. I'm excited at the prospect of giving back through Film! How Nutrition, Fitness and CBD Help Us Have A Calmer, Happier Life - Natalie Ihde #2
Natalie was with me for podcast interview #2 and so much has changed! I'm so thankful she is willing to discuss the difficult process of being in business for yourself and how that sometimes doesn't work, doing what's best for your family and leaning into all of that! IN HER WORDS: I'm a mom, wife, entrepreneur and coffee lover. I also have had anxiety most of my life, although I didn't realize how long I've had it until recently.  My anxiety has been the reason I've failed at some pretty important things, but it's also been the reason I've succeeded at some pretty amazing things as well.  Things I can credit my anxiety for: Doing well in school  Being a top performer at every job I've ever had  Having a clean house, healthy meals and snacks, while working 50+ hours a week.  Losing 30 lbs Things I can blame my anxiety for:  Awkward first impressions  Difficult social situations  A failed coaching business  Gaining 60 lbs I've pivoted my business into helping families who are dealing with anxiety & ADD/ADHD to live the peaceful life they want by addressing mental and physical wellness. It's the season we're in right now, as a family, so I'm looking to help others who are just starting out in this journey & who don't want to necessarily be 100% reliant on medication. (I'm not anti-medication, just pro-adjusting the environment first) Learn how nutrition, fitness & supplements (including CBD) can be beneficial to the entire family. www.natalieihde.net www.natalieihde.net/strategy-guide FB & IG: @natalieihde FB page: @familiesthrivingwithanxietyandadhd

Be The Nudge You Are Dying For with Steph St Laurent of FAYA
Steph and I discussed suicide attempts, and how the thought of suicide never goes away, FAYA, hopscotching landmines with his dad, being the best version of yourself and how he was the Nudge He Was Dying For IN HIS WORDS: Having attempted suicide in my late teens (this happened at school in fact) ; this being the apex of the childhood I had and came from.  I went from being afraid of my own shadow and the inability to communicate anything that emotionally related to someone that I'm very proud of today who can't SHUT UP about the human condition and the quest to be the best versions of ourselves.  I spent some time in therapy seeking the tools to be able to UNPACK MY SHIT; which was a great start to my journey.  There are a multitude of UPS & DOWNS in my almost 48 years on this planet.   The first book that changed my life was "Awaken The Giant Within" - this was the foundation of changing my self-talk.  Fighting the perpetual feelings of anxiety and questioning my success/self-worth made thoughts of ending things a mainstay in my life.  I persisted through the lows and acknowledged and embraced the highs.  My oldest daughter has a tattoo on her wrist in my handwriting that says "Resilience" - I'm kinda tickled by that.  I made it my mandate to strive to be the best example to both my girls.  I always had a tremendous sense of contribution to fulfill; and chased any opportunity to do "PURPOSE-FULL" work.  I risked a great deal in life and in love, these were the lessons that molded and formed my now business OnTheCusp.  I believe we're all On The Cusp of our personal greatness; BIG or small.   Sometimes we need that Nudge We are Dying for.  I'm proud to say that I played this role for many people at many levels on several fronts - One having been a Strength & Conditioning Coach for 20 years.   I have newly launched streetwear apparel company called FAYA - this stands for Fuck All Y'All.  It's a positive Mantra to signifies a SUPERPOWER for the good people of this world to fight the fight against the HATERS & NAYSAYERS. It's a GOOD VIBES ONLY company.  The lid came off years ago......so here I am seeking to leave a daily legacy and always striving to pay it forward. What fascinates me most is ME with all the flaws & splendors; so I leverage this to help other people avoid going out of their way to make a straight line crooked.  Instagram - fayawickedsmahtapparel.   Instagram - sslaurentonthecusp   Instagram - fayawickedsmahtapparel   LinkedIn - Steph B St Laurent

Meditation, Singing, Healing the Pelvic Bowl, Asthma and Abuse with Sophia Wise One Coaching Episode
Holy. Crap. This is long and amazing. I kept the entire episode, however, if you want to just listen to the meditation, singing or just the podcast, the time is marked below. I'm in awe of this session and how much my life changed because of it.    Meditation starts at 45 minutes and ends at 1:13 Singing begins right after meditation   The last half hour we go into what came up for me in the meditation. This isn't just for me! You can work through your own healing through this session, have A-HA moments and release some of your own tension. Pelvic bowl coaching is incredible.   In the time since the interview:   TUESDAY: The day of Freezing after - it was raining during the meeting and my toilet was slowly running so water was on my mind. When I was freezing I got into the bath and it felt like coming home  Could not take enough deep breaths Had waves of fear roll through me. I couldn’t even tell why or where it was coming from. It was debilitation I thought I’d want to drink but I didn’t My entire back was sore - like overused muscles My right side “took over” for my back My thoughts were all over the place I got an email from a publicist about my podcast and I unloaded how I felt and realized it was content I was holding back on (like I’m told I do) I slept fitfully the first night  Found out the day we recorded it was a full moon in libra   WEDNESDAY: Still deep breaths but I didn’t feel like I was gasping for enough air Waves of fear gone  Read the ebook. Holy shit.   Left quadrant - my mom. The abuse. Inspiration and knowing Right quadrant - controlling and stubborn. Creative and safe Front - do what you’re told. Not what you want. Fight, flight, freeze. Dissociation. Vulnerable, pleasure, enjoyment, pleasure. Be seen. Bring forth your dreams and gifts, wishes. Breathing. Back - Coping. Holding shit together. It is safe to exist  Redid my podcast info on the website because I replied to an email and it poured out of me.   THURSDAY: Watching Sophia’s videos. Back and shoulders/neck are aching like I’m working through things I think of my pelvic bowl as Stonehenge - 4 pillars and my goal is to make them work together and distribute evenly Waves of fear again. Breathing getting better.   FRIDAY:Waves of fear gone. Sleeping so much better. Reminding myself to relax my shoulders and back. Began doing the exercises from Sophia’s videos.   Find Sophia: eBook: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9IgBEMIJjSJTERqMEJKUzEtR2kxUHFvcy1KWE4zRHVpME9n/view YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCd1lWcpXNLXqzBlz_xfCyhg Website: https://www.sophiawiseone.com/   There are tons of resources. Felony drug charges, rehab, PTSD, recovery and being a dark fantasy Indie author - Kathrin Hutson
Kathrin and I discussed having divorced parents, starting to write at the age of 10, learning to forgive yourself, drug use, rehab,  PTSD, punishing yourself by not writing for 4 years, suicide attempts, the recovery community, being court-ordered out of her mom's house, hitting bottom when the possibility of felony charge drug possession was a reality, strangers believing in you - to publishing as a dark fantasy Indie publisher, ghostwriting and doing such an amazing job that her husband stays home with their daughter. I adore her and have read two of her books which are phenomenal! IN HER WORDS: 1) Wife and mother of a three-year-old, happy, healthy, "adulting", doing what I love, FREE... from heroin addiction, near homelessness, near-death hospitalizations, and jail  2) Full-time fiction author and ghostwriter, International Bestselling Indie Author, living my dream, and being the sole provider for my family... from "unpublished author" with an exploding file of traditional agent rejection letters, loads of guilt and self-shaming/punishing (see item 1 above lol), wondering if I even COULD still write after 4+ years of not touching a word of fiction. Oh, and trying to make all that happen between giving birth at home, moving across the country with a 10-month-old, husband, and two dogs, and finally sending my toddler to preschool.  FIND HER HERE: facebook.com/kathrinhutsonfiction instagram.com/kathrinhutsonfiction twitter.com/exquisitelydark  https://kathrinhutsonfiction.com

Horsewisdom reading with oracle cards and intuitive guidance - Coaching with Jess Campmans
This time around, We did some horsewisdom readings - both with the oracle cards and intuitively! It was amazing. I let Jess lead this completely and take us where her intuition led. She brought up that I learned that I wasn't supposed to cry when I was about 7 years old and something pivotal happened around the age of 13-14 and both were spot on.    She also felt my shoulder pain and when I discussed when it started, what else was going on, etc.. she connected the dots in a way that had me dumbfounded. She related it to "being stabbed in the back". From this day, I haven't had any shoulder pain. Tension, yes. Breathing through it, yes. But the pain I felt every day is completely gone. I didn't realize how hard I was hanging on and how much I hurt until I released it.   I learned a number that comes up a lot is 5 and my horse was Karma. I can't wait to buy her cards!   OUR FIRST INTERVIEW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QA8ZqIUdWw   FIND HER HERE: www.jesscampmans.com IG - @horsewisdomluminaryjess FB -https://www.facebook.com/JessandButteMorganHorsesGuidedbyEquus/   IN HER WORDS:  The Journey of the Oracle is a transformational journey into HorseWisdom; it is the energy as informing wisdom that the horses have shared & the potential they offer, for healing & helping humanity to expand conscious awareness, embody authentic relationships, and reclaim sacred connection.   WELCOME TO THE COACHING SERIES:   When I wrote my book I did “Bear it all” - emotionally I was raw, vulnerable and the story was difficult to share but it was important for me to do it. I realized that I am only one story and that everyone has an equally amazing story to share. The podcast was born and for me, it was a way for my guests to “write a book in an hour” - to share their story in a condensed amount of time while being extremely raw, vulnerable, and genuine. It was an opportunity for the audience to feel less alone and build tools to cope with their own struggles.  The coaching calls were a result of a suggestion from one of my guests. Not only am I physically The Naked Podcaster, but it’s my turn again to be emotionally naked so the listeners could know what it would be like to work with my guests.   This process wouldn’t work unless I was a good fit for the coaching call and I was really willing to open up. These interviews are scary as listeners get real insight into my life.   It’s worth it because I’ve gotten to know my podcast guests and how outstanding they are. 100% of entrepreneurs birth their business from their struggle, and it’s a gift to show how they have turned their trials around to help others.   I’m looking forward to sharing their skills with you and connecting who they are in a different way.   Enjoy the journey and remember to be kind to yourselves.   CONNECT WITH ME!   Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/momofeighteen/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/MomOfEighteen Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/momofeighteen/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jenn-taylor-96442b98/ Website: http://www.momof18.com   Email: jenn@momof18.com

I am Dying and so are You - The Interview Behind the Story - with Ash Sobhe
In 2003 Ash immigrated to the US from Iran where he lived during Sadaam bombing his city. He felt blessed to be in a first world country after a life in several countries where opportunity was limited. Ash learned that he could attend courses at UCLA and Yale for free and took advantage of the opportunities for education.     A techie in California, Ash built business and money only to be told he was going to die, but medical professionals didn't know WHY. He took it as a sign to live his life differently, more minimally, with intent to showcase people being kind. Ash and his wife Kristi and daughter Klaire moved to Reno, NV closer to Kristi's youth stomping grounds to create roots and build a life around being humble and showing kindness.    Ash uses the power of video to learn stories of people local to Reno who are paving the way to a better life with acts of kindness. His TEDx talk highlights his illness, as well as his social media posts and with his art of showcasing others, it's clear that he is among the ranks of those being kind. Some obstacles Ash has faced throughout his life: Moved to the US at the age of 16. He didn't speak English and had to learn a new culture. Was required to study full time at CSUN and build his company at the same time since the family had barely enough money to make it. Built a successful business with no money and from the ground up on his own. Health issues that led to a realization that "we are all dying" - Link below from his TEDx Talk that references this. PMDD, ADD, Pelvic pain, Entrepreneur failure to success with Sophia Wise One
Sophia showed up naked and I KNEW it was going to be wonderful! It's slightly longer, but SO worth it! I loved this interview and this human being. I know you will too.   From Sophia: Which struggle do I pick? PMDD, ADD, Entrepreneur failure, Pelvic pain?  When I was 19 I lost my mind and chose to leave college mid-semester. I was diagnosed with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), which for me was the worst 2 days of PMS you can imagine but it lasted almost 14 days, the week before and then the week of my period, a.k.a. I would lose myself for half of every month to a whirlwind of mania, depression, and emotional and physical pain.   I used my spiritual and alternative upbringing as the foundation to find healing for my soul, body, mind, and heart. It took 7 years to get my self, my mind, and my joy back. I was able to finish college, become a licensed massage therapist, and worked enough to be financially independent. I gathered everything I learned in a basket on that journey and combined it with my nature, nurture, and training to create my toolbox. Which is Me, all of me. I offer all I know, I have, and have learned.  I learned to do intravaginal pelvic floor work after sex became painful and pelvic pain dominated my life. Now I help people clear, pain, blame, and shame out of their roots. (That's in the book and game too)  I created a card deck, book, and online academy that shares the 72 teachings and 195 practices that healed my body mind and soul. I designed it as a game because play was the most healing component of my journey.   FIND HER HERE: sophiawiseone.com https://www.facebook.com/SophiaWiseOne/ https://www.instagram.com/sophiawiseone/

Marketing from door to door sales and bartending, divorce and childhood baggage - Katrina Sawa
When I'm introduced to someone (virtually) by two people on the same day, I listen and connect. I'm so thankful I did! Katrina and I discuss how she was a bartender, got a college degree and THEN did door to door sales for 9 months, how that relates to dating, lacking confidence and how she healed from waiting to be picked up by her dad who was 2 days late, only to be complemented with a negative statement immediately after for her entire life.   IN HER WORDS: I was in my starter marriage a few years too long. I was pretending to be "happy" when I would show up at networking events even though my spouse wasn't supportive of me being an entrepreneur. It wasn't easy as I'm usually very happy-go-lucky. I realized that life was too short and at 35 left that marriage to go do what I knew I was meant to do and boy did I do it in a big way!  I never gave up and always believed "it would work out in the end" and it did.  Now I have an amazing husband who we've supported each other through some big health challenges over the last 7 years and we're stronger because of it all.   It's a story of having complete faith and stepping out in faith and belief in myself even though I couldn't see my next steps. It's a story of not settling and knowing I deserve more and not stopping until I find it. It's about love, money, and building your life around the kind of life you want instead of fitting your life in around your business.    FIND HER HERE: Main website: www.JumpstartYourMarketing.com Event webpage: www.LiveBigEvents.com Int’l Entrepreneur Network: www.iEntrepreneurNetwork Int’l Speaker Network: www.iSpeakerNetwork.com www.Facebook.com/KatrinaSawa www.Facebook.com/JumpstartYourMarketing www.Facebook.com/groups/jumpstartyourbiz www.Twitter.com/KatrinaSawa www.linkedin.com/in/katrinasawa/ www.Pinterest.com/KatrinaSawa www.instagram.com/katrinasawa/

Born with 60% hearing loss, unloved, and self-healed from Fibromyalgia - with Eileen Bild
I contributed a piece of my story in the book, Chaos to Clarity: Sacred Stories of Transformational Change. My spiritual journey began after self-healing from Fibromyalgia. I had suffered for 7 years with no relief and hit rock bottom with debilitating symptoms. My final moment that rocked my world came when I had enough and made a declaration to heal or I was done! This propelled me onto a path of awakening that worked from the inside out, breaking free the authentic me. As part of the journey, I became more aware of the intricate web of the seen and unseen worlds, of the core blueprint within myself, of the principles of the universe at play, and my inner compass always guiding me. I went from a paradigm of sickness and disease to health and healing leading to my Masters in Transpersonal Psychology, becoming a Certified Life Coach, Teacher, Published Writer and Published Author, and Executive Producer/Videographer/Photographer. My foundation of everything I do is based on Core Thinking, as it was the change in my own thinking that turned the tides in my life. I am a successful warrior who now knows her boundaries, has a voice and defines life on her terms. I help others to reach their highest potential, live stress-free lives and discover their own blueprint to be the best leader and mentor for those they have influence over. www.eileenbild.com https://www.linkedin.com/in/eileenbild/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/478710876274677/?ref=bookmarks (Mojo Monday & Musings) https://www.bizcatalyst360.com/author/eileenbild/ https://www.bizcatalyst360.com/step-into-their-shoes-success-interviews/

Coaching on Parenting Conflicts with Belinda Zylberman of Paikea Mediation
Belinda has a fabulous coaching style that I really clicked with. We talked Content not context, my relationships with my parents and my fear of not being a great parent because of the choices I've made. It was exceptionally enlightening!  When coming as a client, you would fall into one of the following: 1. you're experiencing a conflict with someone and you're looking for support to navigate that 2. you're thinking about divorcing and trying to figure out how best to make that decision, and then live that decision 3. co-parenting struggles/conflict 4. relationship struggles/conflict Find her: https://cdn.filestackcontent.com/TPiNy0RRhm8Gr2AF7HL1?paikeamediation.com?text/html; charset=UTF-8 Original interview link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwiK6q1Z1mM WELCOME TO THE COACHING SERIES: When I wrote my book I did “Bear it all” - emotionally I was raw, vulnerable and the story was difficult to share but it was important for me to do it. Brian Ross discusses Conscious Content Collective, #liftthestigma, PTSD, loss and staying positive
Consciouscontent.org https://twitter.com/CContentMedia https://www.facebook.com/consciouscontentllc/ https://instagram.com/brians_ I'm blessed to know Brian and to be a small part of one of his projects with Kimberly. We have a very candid conversation about the business, his life, moving forward through trauma with gratitude. It was a beautiful conversation.   IN HIS WORDS:  My name is Brian Ross. I am the Co-founder and CEO of Conscious Content Collective. I Co-founded CC with my best friend and spiritual partner Kimberly Resch. about 3 years ago.  We bring awareness and education through the creation of remarkable documentaries and books about topics that matter to most of humanity. My background wasn’t Media at all and it’s crazy to believe that I’m actually doing this as a job!!!  I’ve been an entrepreneur all my life. I have been involved in everything from Venture Capital, Real Estate, and mortgage finance to Financial Advising prior to my current situation.  Conscious Content is the fifth company I have founded or co-founded but it is by far the most purpose-filled mission I have ever been blessed to be a part of outside of raising my daughters. Conscious Content wasn’t started as a way to make money it was started to try to do our part with helping fix a freaking broken world. if we end up making money then that’s great too. We will put it to good use.   I’ve Been blessed to have experienced a lot of success in my life however I’ve been humbled to my core on multiple occasions. Here is a brief explanation:  I don’t really remember my childhood before the age of six except that my father was a very dominant and reactive personality In my life growing up. He passed away when I was in high school. I lost my very best friend Nate to suicide and then his wife took her life 2 years later leaving behind their two young children. That was so very difficult and I have struggled with that.  I was nearly killed three times in both motorcycle and car accidents and ran out of oxygen at 65 feet down while diving.  In 2001 I lost a thriving VC company when the market crashed and 911 happened.  In 2009 I lost a thriving real estate company and 3 homes and ended up filing bankruptcy with nothing left in the bank or asset related except a vehicle.   4 years ago my brother passed away unexpectedly and I decided my life had to change and drew line in the sand as they say and tried a final time to ask my wife to get help and change. It was affecting our kids and it needed to stop. I was married for 17 years to my high school sweetheart who slowly developed bipolar disorder. The last 5 yrs of that marriage sucked pretty bad and I almost lost my identity and The will to go on. I divorced 3.5 years ago. Out of that marriage, I was blessed with 2 daughters Morgan 18 and Ashlee age 14. They chose to live with me most of the time however they are beginning to repair their relationship with their mom.   I know my life was meant to have a major purpose and I guess I just had to learn all these hard lessons before God Thought I would be ready for the position I’m in now At age 51 with Conscious Content collective. I’m very grateful for my life. All the ups and downs but I really don’t understand why there are so many.  Our most recent loss is the passing of Kim’s son Taylor. He was Only 15yrs old, a powerful swimmer, and a very bright light and just overflowing with potential. He was the son I never had and I treated him as that. I still can’t believe he’s not with us anymore. Sometimes as we try to get our arms around this loss and continue forward with our mission one day at a time. This may be one of the most difficult things I have been through personally and I ache for Kim as his mom.  Still, we go on...   KIMBERLY'S PODCAST WE REFER TO: https://youtu.be/3ztLUcuFpfo  FIND BRIAN HERE:

Human Design and Financial Coaching with Alana Heim of Prosperity Alignment
I learned so much in the coaching session! Although this was about my situation, there is so much information to gain and you can see what an outstanding coach Alana is! I'm a Generator. I need to trust my gut, wait for breadcrumbs, make decisions based on emotion - do I feel an Uh-huh? Or an Uh-uh? I make decisions in my sacral, I work best when asked yes and no questions. DON'T ask how - the Universe will answer that. I need people, places, and connections. I'm tribal, community and family-oriented. I love my individuality and need to do my own thing which is what will bring change to the world in my way. I fear not being good enough or life not worth living. I'm terrible at the close but great at the beginning explanation. I love experiences and the story to share! YES! I learned how to ask myself information and not to get stuck in my head asking the how. Just trust my gut and ask in the right way!  Already this has helped me SO MUCH! I've had a complete shift in my thinking and processing which has felt like a weight lifted off.  Original interview link: #1: https://youtu.be/Yi8QNEiGZI8 #2 https://youtu.be/syNIMi-myEg WELCOME TO THE COACHING SERIES: When I wrote my book I did “Bear it all” - emotionally I was raw, vulnerable and the story was difficult to share but it was important for me to do it. Finding a diet to manage weight and get through menopause and reduce pain - Kristi Tornabene
IN HER WORDS: From problem to solution; from idea to an action plan: I help you build new bridges towards your target goals and accelerate your progress, overcoming obstacles and leveraging your own resources. For a more fulfilling life. I outline in the free e-mails, how change can be done. Changing when you eat your foods, to changing the combination. Finding your best foods, and finding a place for them in your daily eating plan. Having a calm brain, helped me save my marriage, and stand up to my husbands’ comments. Save my family and create a better environment for all. The menopause years can throw women into a spin, if things are not what you thought them to be, things can get out of control. Taking baby steps to better health is possible because no one can get here without understanding that they don’t need as much food as they think. Eating less is possible when you know what your body needs. This is why there are two primary tests on the website, the same ones I used when I had questions after working with the Blood Type Diet. https://www.keystobasichealth.com https://business.facebook.com/keystobasichealth/?business_id=453245738435971&ref=bookmarks Here is the link to the book:   https://amzn.to/3clMLDt https://allhealthusa.com/?subid=J-Dub-allhealth&fbclid=IwAR2_R4M1jII8TRWaEJuHaJgZRv1wYPYvPLLTiB9Mb2sCzV_vh3gWjHE2yc0

Parenting A Child Who Has Lost A Parent - Miguel Dean Sacred Masculine Healing Session
We begin with me laughing because genuinely I adore this man. Miguel asked me via email to think about a trigger or something I'm struggling with. It's interesting how when this question is asked, my answer is unique. I had forgotten that in his original interview, Miguel's initial struggle was losing him Mom and his Auntie. I'm grateful I just go with my gut. My youngest daughter Tavin is technically Dane's daughter and her biological Mom died when she was 2. Part of my parenting struggle is in her resistance to letting me in, but acknowledging that we're not as close as she'd like. Miguel recognized that MY mother could have been great, but was dealing with her own story. The baggage I carry is that I wanted a Mom who wasn't available. With Tavin SHE wants a Mom who she isn't close to, so it's an inverted situation. My desire to parent her with love is thwarted by the burden I carry - that Tavin represents my inner child. She is a physical representation of my own little girl. As a result, I parent with diplomacy, distance and I seem more strict than I feel due to my emotional distance. The fact that she's also the youngest with a considerable age difference means she's an only child in a huge family and really, we do need to rewrite how we do things on multiple levels. Now that I've had this healing session, I've felt relief and unloading of the tension I carry inside myself. Bringing issues into the light out of the darkness - as Miguel says - is an enormous step in the process and vital to moving forward. I need to remember to Mother myself and shift my parenting by untethering myself from my baggage as a child to JUST BE a better Mom. The Journey IS The Destination. ABOUT SESSIONS: My Sacred Masculine Healing Sessions focus on balancing and the marriage of your inner masculine and feminine. So really you just need to have a starting place for our conversation of something you would like to improve/ change about the way you are. It could be something related to improving your relationship with your partner or yourself. It's all about relationships with self and others. You need to be aware that our conversation may well explore your childhood experiences of being parented as many of the roots of how we operate now in relation to man and woman and masculine and feminine have their origins here. But essentially you just need a starting place that you would like to explore. Julio & Kate from TacoBoutUsMariscals - Living with 4 kids and 3 animals in a 22' trailer
I've been following Julio and Kate from TacoBoutUsMariscals as beacons of hope for my family who wants to live full-time in an RV. I was excited to find out how they did it, are still doing it, despite work changing during COVID-19 and Kate's health. With a hysterectomy, then another surgery, then another diagnosis I wasn't sure how they navigated life! IN THEIR WORDS: We are Julio (33) and Kate Mariscal (33) from TacoBoutUsMariscals. We are a family of 6 including our 4 children ages: 12, 10, 7, and 4. In addition, we have 2 dogs and a cat. In June of 2018, Julio applied for a traveling surgical tech job, as he was tired of decreasing benefits and PTO at the hospital he had worked and loved. We always talked about Kate working as a traveling nurse, but didn’t realize the ability for Julio to travel as well. He was on medical leave from the Air Force, Kate was on summer break (she worked as a school nurse) and the timing seemed perfect. He quickly started applying for travel jobs and was offered a position in York, Maine. We had two weeks to the day to get everything aligned so we could go. We quickly found out that housing would be more than his weekly pay due to increased tourism, so we bought our first travel trailer and were on our way. We fell in love. It was beautiful, we met amazing people, even after 5 weeks the kids felt at home in our tiny space (~170sqft) and were fighting/arguing less than ever before. Julio stayed to finish his contract while Kate and the kids returned for school. It was overwhelming, it took more time to acclimate back to our big house than it did for the camper. We missed it. Julio returned and over the next few months, we decided we wanted to travel full time. During this time, Kate was suffering more and more from her Endometriosis. She had a second surgery, this time removing the rest of her reproductive organs, and was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis and underwent a second round of pelvic floor physical therapy. Even after all of this she was in immense pain daily and could not get through a partial day at work. It was becoming apparent that Kate would no longer be able to work full time and traveling was not only appealing but a necessary move. By April we bought a bus and found a company to convert it into a motorhome (skoolie). We put our house up for sale, and we were selling off all of our belongings. On June 7th we were back in Maine and on our first stop of full time traveling life. It hasn’t always been peaches and cream — RV life is trialing ... especially in a 22ft TT, Kate’s in menopause and struggling with hot flashes, depression, and loss of identity, homeschooling, the bus still isn’t finished after 9 months, there’s a learning curve to RV life and maintenance... the list goes on. However, as stressful as this life maybe we are extremely happy with our decision and love the memories that we are making with our children. Pornography addict coaches The Naked Podcaster - Session 2 with Joshua Shea
It might seem strange that a porn addict is coaching The Naked Podcaster, however, when I read Josh's book, "He's A Porn Addict... Now What?" I realized that I have triggers from my past. I also realized 3 of my 4 serious relationships had porn as part of the mix and I became curious about how that impacted me, how I was attracting people and if I could have handled it differently. I also felt a little confused about my negative reaction to pornography.   In Session 2 you will learn more about me from a sexual standpoint. In the end, with some great coaching from Josh, he determines that I am an open, healthy sexual person, evolved, transcendent and willing to openly discuss sexuality and I'm not in your face about it. In my mind, I feel I should have a more open, healthier attitude by LIKING porn but I DON'T LIKE IT. I don't want to admit that because in my mind it pokes holes in the balloon of being openly sexual. My definition of being openly sexual is defined on INCLUDING porn, so because I don't really like it, I struggle with if I can be healthy sexually when I don't really have that openness.   In the moment I wasn't sure if that was accurate or how accurate it is, but with hindsight, I believe it's spot on. I DO like lower-key sexual encounters in an R rated movie, but once it's blatant, I'm actually uncomfortable. What this has meant since we recorded, is embracing that having a healthy sexual relationship does not have to be all-inclusive and that's OK.I also don't want to have a 3-some, am not interested in women and have never wanted to attend a sex party and those things didn't determine feeling that I'm sexually open. We all have to determine what's in our comfort zone.  I appreciate that Josh was willing to have me as a coaching client since I"m a bit removed from my engagement with porn and to explore difficult conversations with me to uncover what my triggers are.    IN HIS WORDS: I work as an author and speaker/presenter sharing my story and educating about addiction. My books about addiction can be found on the home page. I believe if we can begin to talk more about porn addiction and mental health, others may be able to address their addictions before they devolve to the unhealthy and criminal places where mine hit rock bottom.  FIND HIM HERE:  https://recoveringpornaddict.com/ Original interview link:    WELCOME TO THE COACHING SERIES:   When I wrote my book I did “Bear it all” - emotionally I was raw, vulnerable and the story was difficult to share but it was important for me to do it. Mom died of breast Cancer, her diagnoses, divorce, dating and Get Your Rack Back- Connie Bramer
IN HER WORDS: I am a contributing author to Chaos to Clarity by Kat Kanavos and Patricia Cagganello. I also wrote my breast cancer memoir, How Connie Got Her Rack Back, my comical spin on the cancer journey. And since your show is rated explicit, I would say that if things could fuck up along my journey, they did! I wrote about the good, the bad and the ugly of having cancer at 39 recently divorced (I had a 200 lb hemorrhoid extricated by an excellent divorce attorney), with two small children. 11 years later, I just hit the big 5-0 (Holy Shit) and I am in perfect health except for the usual aches and pains:) I decided once I was well that I wanted to help other patients going through cancer, so I founded a non-profit, Get Your Rack Back, or GYRB as we call it for short. We provide cancer patients - men, women and children with various types of cancer - with $500 in financial services. Gas and grocery gift cards and medical copayment assistance, mostly. So many patients are having to choose between paying for treatment and putting food on the table for their families and we just CAN'T HAVE THIS! The goal of GYRB is to bridge the gap for these families. To date, since I started it in 2015, we have provided $122,000 in services to cancer patients in Upstate NY. My goal is grow to other states because -let's face it - we all know someone somewhere who is affected by cancer who could use some boots on the ground providing some much needed TLC. I also write articles for BizCatalyst360, mostly from my blog - The Humor of It All. Crazy shit happens to me all the time, so I write about it. https://gyrb.org https://www.facebook.com/GetYourRackBack/ https://www.bizcatalyst360.com/author/conniebramer/ https://twitter.com/constancebramer?lang=en https://www.instagram.com/constancebramer/ https://thehumorofitall.wordpress.com

Immigration, cancer racism addiction mental illness, divorce, endometriosis, adenomyosis- Miranda Oh
I married the man of my dreams when I was just 20 years old. He was an immigrant from Africa, it took us 4 yrs. of long-distance relationship & tough & complicated immigration battle. We encountered racism, corruption, & the obvious difficulties of a long-distance relationship. Once we finally got him approved, he moved to Canada; we thought, yay...Happily ever after right? Wrong! A few months later there was a cancer diagnosis, followed by a whole slew of other ailments like addiction, mental illness & family issues to name a few. Then within a blink of an eye, he was gone. Attempting to pick up my life after all of that, sharing my story came as a way to heal & help process all that happened before my 23rd birthday. Once I started writing I quickly realized that the series Chin Up Tits Out was a way to strip down different life scenarios, & really talk about the feelings that rush through us in tough times. The little mantra became a daily tool to maintain balance when I needed it. If I stand confidently, I, therefore, will feel more confident; with time and dedication to that action. As book 3 was being created, my 30th birthday threw me another doozy and slapped me with an Endometriosis & Adenomyosis diagnosis. So naturally, I'm using that as juice for my second series. We know life is going to get messy, & that we will be faced with tough challenges along the way. I made a choice when I started to share my story that I wanted to relate, connect and inspire people. We all go through tough stuff, it's all how we receive it, juggle it & move forward through it.  www.mirandaoh.com Facebook: Miranda Oh - Chin Up Tits Out IG & Twitter: Ohmirandaoh

Now he runs a podcast, learned online marketing, encourages positive self-talk, lives in the present, is true to himself.   HIS INFO: Lance Essihos is the creator of the increasingly popular podcast “University of Adversity”, an innovative series that delivers inspiring stories of people who have overcome incredible adversity and gone forward to achieve limitless success. SEO, Googlebait, Lifestyle, Travel and a Coaching Session with Erica Duran
https://www.facebook.com/ericaduraninternational/ Erica was one of my launch podcast episodes on May 2, 2017. She was also the only coach I"ve hired in the last 5 years since launching my business. It's been a couple of years since we've really caught up and things have changed in her business a little - mostly adding some great features and programs, PLUS I got coaching on what I should do moving forward!  The 3 programs she offers (in links below) are Google Bait, Lifestyle Coaching, and Travel retreats and a VIP program. Her first interview is here: https://anchor.fm/the-naked-podcaster/episodes/Minimalist-who-removed-toxic-relationships-and-became-a-business-coach---with-Erica-Duran-e6cjus IN HER WORDS: Aloha,  I’m Erica Duran. An International Business Coach and Lifestyle Mentor, Digital Nomad, and Minimalist. And you are in the right place! I can help you make money doing work you love from anywhere. You see, I’ve been through A LOT! And I’ve probably been exactly where you are… Are you done with working all the time, (like 10+ hours a day) and still just barely getting by?  (But let’s keep it real – you probably really desire a consistent $5K-$20K+ per month, right?) Have you followed online “gurus” and their formulas and blueprints exactly, but never got the same results? Are you wondering how other coaches and service-based entrepreneurs can charge thousands for their services and you are still working “dollars for hours” and you are ready for your own high-level IDEAL clients? Exhausted from piecing together all that free information online and ready to create a business, brand, and lifestyle that is unique to you? I’ve been there too! We entrepreneurs bought into that untrue story that you have to work hard to make money. Am I bothering people by sending too many emails?  Should I spend more time on Twitter, Facebook, or in networking lunch groups? Am I expert enough to say it and charge for it?  What if this is the last client I’ll ever get?  What if I invest in another program and that doesn’t work either?  Am I marketing enough and the right way? And worst of all… Should I go back to my cushy job with health benefits and vacation days?  Websites: https://www.ericaduran.co/  https://www.enchantedtikitravel.com/  https://www.googlebait.com/  Social Media:  https://www.instagram.com/ericaduranintl/ https://www.facebook.com/ericaduranintl/   https://www.linkedin.com/in/ericaduran/  https://www.pinterest.com/ericalduran/pins/  https://twitter.com/EricaDuranIntl https://www.youtube.com/ WELCOME TO THE COACHING SERIES: When I wrote my book I did “Bear it all” - emotionally I was raw, vulnerable and the story was difficult to share but it was important for me to do it. Naked Woman Interviews Recovering Porn Addict - Joshua Shea
IN HIS WORDS: When it comes to addiction, my story is somewhat textbook, while being nothing like most people have ever heard. In the early years there's the typical abuse and subsequent trauma, then the discovery of substances and behaviors that help you cope with the world. In my case, it was alcohol and pornography. I hid my addictions to both pornography and alcohol for 25 years. In that time, I became an award-winning journalist, married a great woman and had two kids. In early 2009, I created a popular magazine in Central Maine, launched a film festival in northern New England and won a seat on my City Council. I was a bonafide local celebrity, but after the business took a turn for the worse, I removed myself from the medication I'd been taking for bipolar disorder for a decade and the addictions took over my life almost immediately. Both the drinking and porn use exploded in mid-to-late 2013. Everything came to a head the morning of March 20, 2014, when I was arrested for engaging a teenage girl in a chat room. I didn't know she was underage at the time, but I also know that's no excuse and make it clear in my presentations and media appearances. I made the mistake of pulling myself off the mental health medication thinking my manic side would help save a business. I am responsible and am not a victim of my circumstances. I was the proverbial last guy you'd ever expect this to happen to, but I think it proves that porn addiction can happen to anyone and it can go to sinister places unless you get help. I spent the next two years prior to sentencing in deep recovery, attending two inpatient rehabs, exploring and defining my spiritual side, and researching as much as I could about porn addiction, of which there was woefully little. It was when I was serving a six-month term in jail in early 2016 I wrote my memoir about my descent into addiction. I met so many men in jail who felt more shame about their sex or porn issues than any drug arrest, robbery or domestic violence charge they were actually serving time for, so I decided when I came out, I'd try to create the resources that were missing for me when I made the decision to change. After that first book came out, I received a ton of messages and most surprisingly (to me) most were from girlfriends and wives wondering what they should do about their partners' porn addiction and asking for help. So as I was promoting that first book, I met an LMFT in California and we agreed to co-write the book that came out in December 2019, hoping to help these women through a difficult time. I don't know what it feels like to be called to God, but for the first time in my life, I feel called toward this mission of porn addiction education. The statistics are scary. Did you know 32% of men under 30 have reported that they believe they have an issue with pornography? Or that 98% of married men and 70% of married women under 40 have looked at porn in the last six months. Nobody really understands just how far-reaching this problem is, and I fear if we don't begin to talk about it and understand it, it's going to be like the opiate crisis. We'll be dealing with something we should have seen coming 30 years too late. http://www.RecoveringPornAddict.com www.amazon.com/author/joshuashea https://www.linkedin.com/in/joshua-shea-7b9932194/

Couch To Active coaches The Naked Podcaster and has an emotional breakthrough - Lyn Lindbergh
Lyn is back for a coaching session with yours truly as the client to show you what it's like to have one-on-one coaching. I'm someone who loves exercise and participates daily, so we were both surprised at what my fitness hangup is, but breakthrough we DID! I carry emotional baggage about fitness and my worst fear. We talked about the percentage of people over 40 with chronic illnesses (staggering!), body positivity and shaming, The Perfection Detox Book, the guy who was locked in a gym all night, and more! Hang out and listen to what a phenomenal coach this woman is! Lyn has her book, app, TWO podcasts and is rated in the top 5 health and fitness books! Find her here! https://cdn.filestackcontent.com/IGTiC69ZQQSLHoNTO5TB?www.couchtoactive.com?text/html;charset=utf-8 Lyn's book: https://www.amazon.com/COUCH-ACTIVE-missing-sedentary-active/dp/1732629218/ Lyn's app: http://couchtoactive.libsyn.com/get-the-free-app The Perfection Detox Book: https://www.amazon.com/Perfection-Detox-Critic-Bravely-Unleash/dp/0738234850/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=the+perfect+detox+book&qid=1581130238&sr=8-2 In our first interview, we discussed how Lyn completed college even though she had a horrible reading comprehension issue (spelling was tough too!). We discuss ending her relationship with a strict religion, ending her marriage, obsessing over her weight, going corporate over teaching because it paid well, how exercise marketing is bullshit, building self-esteem, and having second chances. Her first interview is HERE: https://studio.youtube.com/video/TC2s8EJuQPk/edit WELCOME TO THE COACHING SERIES: When I wrote my book I did “Bear it all” - emotionally I was raw, vulnerable and the story was difficult to share but it was important for me to do it. Cancer, a near kidnapping, HIV scare to married and healing others - Seth Eliot
I'm an Intuitive Business Coach, Author, and Medium. I have gone through more than most in my short little life. I've cheated death several times. I'm all about Life and I LOVE talking about death. I help people heal themselves. I'm a healer. About 11 years ago, I cried on my 30th birthday...really just sad and disappointed that my life was where it was. Since then, I've written two books, published one ("How I Learned to Smile From The Inside"), developed into a psychic medium, HR expert, Death expert, healing and bereavement facilitator and now an Intuitive Business Coach. I've come quite a long way. Of course, the obstacles along the way were cancer, kidnap, narrowly escaped HIV (probably several times), survived many friends' marriages, babies, and deaths, and most importantly, I am the person I want to be...almost every day. Now, I'm married to the love of my life, who also happens to be a medium. Every day is an adventure with him, as you can only imagine. He heals people through death. I like to heal people through life and death. I inspire them to smile from the inside. http://sethsantoro.com https://iamsetheliot.com https://www.amazon.com/How-I-Learned-Smile-Inside/dp/1478319232 https://www.linkedin.com/in/sethesantoro/

Surviving abuse being homeless for 7 years drugs crime violence and his healing journey- Miguel Dean
My mother suffered from anxiety and depression when I was born and when I was 7 months old she died of cancer. I went on to lose two other surrogate mothers before I was 5 years old. My stepmother was violent and abusive and my father was absent as I grew up. This led to me being stuck in fight and flight as I grew up and resulted in low self-esteem. On leaving home I fell into a shadowy world of drugs, crime, violence, and homelessness. But at 27 the arrival of my firstborn son inspired me to begin my inner journey of healing and transformation which I am still on. This journey has included: divorce, severe illness, overcoming addiction and learning to love and accept myself. I realized early on that my service to the collective influenced my own healing and the extent to which I was engaged and successful in my own healing impacted how much I could empower others. I worked with disadvantaged youth for many years before stumbling upon the inner journey of the divine union of masculine and feminine as a vehicle to return home to love and wholeness. Bring Him Home _ A Twin Flame Love Story tells my own true story of how conscious relationship purged and facilitated the further healing of my own childhood trauma and fear of intimacy that I had carried for too long as a result of losing my mother. It is a book to inspire a new (Sacred) masculinity and the truth and potential of a conscious relationship.  https://www.facebook.com/migueldeanauthor/?modal=admin_todo_tour https://www.migueldean.net/

From New Zealand to finding love to living in Japan - Altair Shyam
When I was just two years old, I had a recurring dream that I was a Tibetan monk who died on a bridge just as described in the story in the book Chaos to Clarity. I had the same dream every night for a year. My parents were so worried as I woke up every night screaming. They took me to specialists until one doctor told them I was too hot, they took my blankets and clothes off and the dream stopped. Then some months before my mom passed away she told me about a meeting she had with a Maori elder in an orchard when she was just 16 and the information she was given about my past lives and future which matched the dream I had at the age of 2. She said she didn’t tell me because she didn’t want me to be influenced by such a powerful prophecy and wanted me to live my life freely. She was scared I would leave her and become a monk! I gave mom the pearl I had received from the heart of the statue of the Goddess of Compassion, Guan Yin Avalokiteshvara, that is central to this story and it disappeared not long after. http://www.altairshyam.com/ https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100015236058875 https://www.instagram.com/skstephenaltair/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/stephen-skelton-833446130/ https://twitter.com/altair_sk https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjofX7E9-LogHEGaKFG-GCQ/featured

Surviving on food from dumpsters, in a Catholic orphanage to juvie - with Linda Forrester-Pitocco
Lynn and I discuss being in an orphanage at 5, then to California and from 7-9 in juvenile hall. 9-13 foster care where she survived sexual abuse, and then back into the home where she was taken from. Surviving with food from dumpsters, writing since she was 12, alcoholic parents, a dad who gambled, 6 siblings to being a nurse and working in the police force with their rape cases, then retiring. It was quite an adventure! IN HER WORDS: In my interview with you, I want those who will be listening eventually to know me more as the author who, through my life experiences have made me who I am today. From the dysfunctional childhood, through professional careers and as a mother and grandmother, grounded in my Catholic Faith, that life is precious and anything is possible. Even miracles. The story in the book Chaos To Clarity is about my TURTLE who was with me for 33 years as a beloved companion and she is now living her life as a wild turtle in a natural pond. This is a personal story, about my struggle with worry and concern because I take my role as a guardian to any animal who comes to me very seriously and she was given to me as a gift when I was in my 20's. When I couldn't find her after she slipped out of the enclosure in our yard, I felt devastated and talk about this in my story in the book. Eventually, I was able to come to peace about her decision to live the rest of her life as a turtle in the wild and am now happy for her. She has a boyfriend and girlfriends and she can swim freely to her hearts content. She also enjoys eating new and natural foods for her such as minnows, fish eggs, vegetation etc. www.PhoenixRisingHealing.com https://www.facebook.com/ellie.pechet https://twitter.com/HealingRising https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLXRMQjckaZM-JYcBkogr7w

Numerology, Handmade Horse Tarot Cards, instinct, freedom and change - with Jess Campmans
IN HER WORDS: My horses (and animals in general) have always been a huge part of my life. I was kicked in the head by a horse as a child and later in life my horses helped me heal from that trauma and recover the parts of my soul that were frozen in that experience. They helped me, as an adult, recognize and face the incongruence I was living, taught me how to process fears and insecurities to reclaim the most authentic version of myself and guided me to develop my highly intuitive and energy healing skills that I now could not live without, and use to help humans and animals find deeper meaning and clarity in their lives and relationships. The more I journeyed into the realm of spirit with them, the more instances that channeling, receiving energetic downloads and communicating with animals and those who had passed into spirit beings, began to spontaneously happen. The many deaths of my animals throughout my life initiated me and helped me find a deeper understanding around death in relationship within the cycle of life. www.jesscampmans.com https://www.facebook.com/JessandButteMorganHorsesGuidedbyEquus/ https://www.instagram.com/horsewisdomluminaryjess/

Mel lost her Mom to breast cancer when she was only 17 and then waited for her own diagnosis. She has also started her own publishing company and is an author twice. IN HER WORDS: I am a breast cancer survivor and philanthropist. My motto is that life can really suck - but it's up to me not to let it suck the life out of me. Mel Greenberg is the married mother of two sons in their early twenties. She worked as a copywriter and producer in radio and television before having children and making the decision to stay at home with them full-time. Raised by a famous Mom, passed around to other people, molested, she moved to the US alone at 12 - with Foojan Zeine
Foojan and I discuss being raised by a famous Mom with a father not in the pictures much and being passed around to people to take care of her. The good news is she received love from everywhere, the bad news is she was molested. With therapy, awareness integration, resilience she got through her past. She was first a child in rage, ran away at age 11, moved to the USA at the age of 12 on her own, attended ASU at 15 years old and used her past as her passion to become a therapist. IN HER WORDS: I am originally from Iran. I was sexually molested from age 3-8, come from a divorced family, came to the U.S. at age 12 1/2 alone, graduated from High School at age 15, went to ASU as an international student, the revolution happened and my parents could not support me, so I started working 3 jobs at age 17 to survive, had to quit school since as an international students the cost was extremely high. I worked and put my self through school and graduate school while I paid fully with no loan. Today I am a known psychotherapist with 30 years of experience who has originated a psychological model to minimize depression and anxiety and raise self-esteem and confidence. Being near death in the hospital, gave her the guts to be an author, talk to animals and take multi-dimensional journeys in her business that helps others heal - with Glenda-Ray Riviere
Glenda-Ray and I discussed being in the hospital and nearly dying, "we have to feel it to heal it", working with animals, energy healing as an intuitive, having multi-dimensional journeys, talking to animals, being silent and the cost of not speaking up. A published author twice, with a YouTube channel and meditation IN HER WORDS: As a child, I had an experience of not being seen nor heard hiding behind the curtain for fear of what might happen if I shared my thoughts, feelings, emotions and spoke my innermost truths. All of these un-expressed thoughts, feelings, and emotions had to "go" & find a voice somewhere. My soul chose the seat of anger- the liver to scream out there & be heard, acknowledged & received. This led to a near "death" experience as a young adult. Through that powerful life-changing journey, I commanded to be shown another way to heal, transform & empower my life. Various alternative healing modalities literally showed up at my doorstep. Through the exploration of these alternative modes of healing, I found my voice & began sharing my truths, deep inner wisdom gleaned from my transformation....books, articles, sacred stories wrote themselves. Through the sharing of these deep inner truths, giving them a voice, it came into my awareness that the only One that could truly see me, hear me, love me, acknowledge me was myself. With no longer pointing fingers at my parents & others, casting blame for my experiences, all that interfered with allowing Self-Love, Self-acceptance, fell away. Today, I now experience a very different Mother- One that sees me, loves, hears, acknowledges the gift that I am- reflecting the self-healing of the Mother-child relationship with-in me. All other relationships in my life began to reflect the Self-love, self-acceptance from with-in too, as All relationships whether that be to a significant other, friend, colleague, health, personal, spiritual growth, etc., is a relationship to One -Self. There is no Other- The Other is You. Other gifts and golden nuggets of wisdom that revealed themselves through this powerful journey of Self-Love, of allowing & giving myself permission to love & accept myself, having compassion for All of my experiences, was the awareness that I am and We are the Master Creators of our reality & that we can transform our lives, integrate lessons in the moment so that energy does not get trapped in the body to manifest as disharmony - physical, mental-emotional...or any other form-- rather through Self-realization -integrating lessons & healing by simply having the pure intent of calling the wisdom forth. In this way, we no longer repeat the pattern or create other experiences to learn the lesson. Additionally, by sharing the wisdom gleaned, we All heal. Healing for One is healing for All. "May We All live from the Sacred Heart, through the Sacred heart, As the Sacred Heart, through every thought, word and deed & integrate through Self-realization." She came out as a lesbian after being raised Mormon, getting married and having a child - with Amber Ezell
Amber and I discuss  starting a business, fighting depression, living abroad, getting married, being a lesbian, getting divorced and living her truth. IN AMBERS WORDS I am in a place of life in which I am so proud that I am finally living my truth. It has been a rocky road, mainly due to me trying to fight my inner authentic self. I was born and raised in South Orange County, California. I was also raised in a very conservative, Mormon family, where doing what was "right" was always the most important- far before being authentic. I am the oldest of four kids in my family, meaning I have always been the one with the hardest expectations placed on me and on myself.  I went to Cal State University, Long Beach for my undergraduate degree. I developed an intense attraction to my first roommate in college but didn’t know what it meant. I admitted in my journal all of the feelings I was experiencing and even wrote “I might be a lesbian” but somehow talked myself out of that crazy idea. I decided I wanted a family and kids and didn’t see how that could be possible.  I studied abroad in Granada Spain for a year. I learned Spanish as well as how to be on my own in a foreign country. I got through depression and home-sickness the first couple months through intensive journaling and embracing Spanish culture and language. I got married and had a child and then the realization that I wasn't living my truth hit me. Now,  I have a four-year-old daughter and am a full-time portrait and wedding photographer. I started photographing families and weddings when I was staying at home with our daughter when she was an infant. The last couple of years have been a crazy quest to live my truth. I finally admitted to myself that I am gay and could not continue to stay married to a man.  I decided to go full-time with my business that I hadn't had the time to nurture over the last couple years. I feel now I am finally living congruent to who I am in every way. I have given into who I am. I am a gay woman. I am a Photographer. I am a Mother. I am a Creative. I am an Entrepreneur.  FIND HER HERE: facebook.com/amberezellphotography amberezellphotography.com

Living with a diagnosed narcissist, being stalked and terrorized to an author helping you get over your abusive ex - with Suzanna Quintana
Published author of the book "You're Still That Girl: Get Over Your Abusive Ex For Good" Suzanna discusses what it was like living with a diagnosed narcissist, being stalked, cyberstalked, and terrorized. She's open about her recovery and healing process and shares her story with others to be a beacon of light for women who are living the same hell that she lived. Suzanna offers a way to the light and the life they deserve.  www.suzannaquintana.com 1) https://www.elephantjournal.com/2015/10/understanding-the-language-of-narcissistic-abuse/ 2) https://www.elephantjournal.com/2016/07/what-ive-learned-about-surviving-emotional-abuse/?fbclid=IwAR2kXQJLre9iN3m1soU0LPTSVX0UB_yDoGXEWxMig0rKmJi4SzvAjvWZEoE 3) https://medium.com/@SuzannaQuintana www.facebook.com/suzannaquintana In her words: OH SUZANNA Don't you cry for me. There was no Hollywood ending when I decided to leave my abusive marriage and the man whom I had devoted my life to, had children with, loved beyond measure, and who was a diagnosed Narcissist. There was no Angela Bassett moment in Waiting to Exhale when she packs up her cheating husband's clothes into his BMW, pours gasoline all over it, then stands back, lights a cigarette, and watches it go up in flames from her tossed match. I often wish I had a story like that to tell, but the fact is that leaving the darkness and finding your way to the light is a much more complex journey than that, healing is not linear and doesn't allow you to travel from A to Z, which is the reason most victims return to their abuser (as I did) many times over.

Eating disorders, moving to the US at 15 from Bulgaria, abuse and depression she completed her Masters, has a blog and on the red carpet for 2019 Oscars - with Nikoleta Morales
Nikoleta was so open about having eating disorders, both anorexia, and bulimia. Her blog features the underdog as she has a passion for helping others. She's a freelance writer, does PR and covered 2019 Oscars. Her Masters was completed in Chicago, by route of Bulgaria, Sweden, and Africa prior. She's learned how to recognize toxic environments and remove herself from them and fights against body-shaming and helps others with eating disorders. IN HER WORDS: I came to the US at 15 alone to pursue the American Dream. I am 34 now and a single parent with a 9-year-old daughter. I went through a divorce, abuse, trauma, several heartbreaks, losses, immigration, depression, anorexia, bulimia, body shaming and I am a fighter, an ironwoman, as my father and an ex liked to call me and still standing! I am still going through heartbreak as my last boyfriend of 5 years left me to pursue fun and other women. I met him during my divorce. I love entertainment. I am an entertainment journalist, a publicist, and editor and I have interviewed a lot of celebrities and covered the 2019 Oscars. I want to empower women who have been abused, left, oppressed and be their voice for change. I have seen my mother oppressed growing up and still do, I have been through it with my father, men I dated, men in business and I worked with. As women, we have to always fight against being oppressed and objectified by men and that has been my life’s fight and the one I got most wounds in. When it comes to finances, Christine doesn't think she has really struggled. Some people have gifts in certain things and she's just naturally great with money. That's how she became a finance coach since there are not a lot of people in her area who want to teach people about money. They care most about people who already have investable assets. Christine wanted to learn about money and manage it herself. She just couldn't find one in her area so she decided to be that coach - after learning herself to be even better with money.  She's also learned that a lot of people's money behaviors stem from the past so she also helps with money mindset and behaviors as well.  The difference between Christine and other financial advisors other than her coaching? She was a blast to chat with! I love helping people feel more at ease about their finances. Whether I am helping them figure out how to get out of debt, teaching them how to budget and learn investment, or assisting with retirement planning or tax planning. I also fell in love with the area of tax preparation and tax planning while volunteering for VITA(Volunteer Income Tax Assistance). My volunteer work as well as my clients asking many tax questions encouraged me to pursue becoming an Enrolled Agent. As such, I will also be able to offer tax consulting and preparation as well by 2020. I am very excited about this journey. If you would like to find out how I can help you, you are welcome to schedule a 15-minute video chat with me to discuss where you are in your personal financial journey. I look forward to working with you to accomplish your financial goals!

A child connected to everything, to harsh physical and emotional lessons that took it away from her and her journey back to herself including a vow of peace – with Erica Risberg
Erica started out in this glorious world knowing she was connected to everything. She talked with animals, plants, trees - the whole thing. She was also given a couple of harsh physical and emotional experiences that knocked her out of that. Born with a dislocated hip, and in traction at 6 months and in a body cast for 18 months by the time she was 1. Lots of trauma AND she can walk normally, so while she's had to deal with the healing of those emotional wounds, she's grateful for it. The second was losing my grandfather when she was 10 who was the one person in life who saw her. After he died, she went into a serious pattern of coping and hiding, as she lived with emotionally underdeveloped people. The triumph is that she took a vow of peace a mere 4 years ago because she snapped and was sick of the violence in the world, and that's led her on a crazy deep spiritual path to uncovering and healing all of the ways she's hidden herself and getting reconnected to where she was when she started out, except now, she's got kickass healing tools to navigate the world more easily!   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/erica.risberg Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/ELRATITHOL/eid=ARC4D8YwBpOXZ1hMhrjmfyRyPfLjUpmzADacJ4YHSZhxFSuWti16lHiaSfYQ7rK5e20bZBFOnO20hqn0 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ericarisberg/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/EricasVOs Instagram - drericarisberg   Website: https://allthingsinthenameoflove.com IN HER WORDS: Some people would define me as a historian due to my Ph.D. in Cultural History, others would say that I am a voice-over professional due to my work experiences, and others would say that I am a lover of dogs.  Like you, I’m a compilation of my experiences, biases, and beliefs.  The way that I would describe myself is an ardent student of life. I came into this life wanting to know the answers to the pervasive question, why.  Why do our biases and beliefs contribute to our developing personalty when really, we all want the same things – peace, love and prosperity?  Why is fear such a stumbling block that seems so pervasive on our quest for peace, love and prosperity? Well, since I know how to professionally research and am a professional voice recorder, it seemed natural to blend these talents to share with you what I have learned from worldwide thought leaders so we both can draw conclusions from our critical thinking skills on our quest to living a more peaceful, loving and prosperous life.

An IEP for her daughter made her realized she was frightened and knew nothing except that she would learn and things would be fine - with Wendy Burkhard
When the school created an IEP for my 4-year-old daughter - I was dumbfounded and knew nothing. When she entered Kindergarten in a self-contained classroom - I was frightened and knew nothing. When I became a mother - although I knew nothing, I knew I knew everything and that everything would be fine. Diagnosis, medications, hospitals, procedures, tests, and much more - moving through this mommyhood with grace and ease on the outside and worry and concern on the inside. Reverse speech warned him about his summer, he still served jail time for false criminal allegations for possession of marijuana, then wrote two books, and works to help others - with Joshua Schmude
Prior to this interview, I read links Joshua sent about his criminal charges, the "crackpot crackdown" of the town he was arrested in and how often they charged people with fabricated charges. In his words to me about his incredible story: Long story short I got a reversal (backwards message/reverse speech) in January of 2008 that said 'summer of shame, let's miss it'. About 4 months later in May of the same year, I got pulled over in Edna, a small Texas town notorious for really shady stuff, you can view a 12 page expose article about this town and prosecutor published in the Austin Chronicle here: https://www.austinchronicle.com/news/2005-10-21/301887/  I got pulled over and arrested for possession of Marijuana when there was no Marijuana. I decided to fight the misdemeanor and they dropped the misdemeanor and charged me with a 3rd-degree felony, Tampering w/Physical Evidence. I took it to trial and they gave me 10 years in prison for "eating a joint." Although my case sounds completely absurd, this has been a common occurrence in the US for decades. You can read the appellate brief of my case here: https://law.justia.com/cases/texas/thirteenth-court-of-appeals/2014/13-12-00320-cr.html  Getting that reversal 4 months before this happened blew my mind as it was definitely a shameful summer. After that happened, I decided to write my book 'Reverse Speech In Theory & Practice: How To Use Your Unconscious Mind To Predict The Outcome Future Events'. Crazy how what seems like a tragedy can actually be a blessing :)    IN HIS WORDS: An indie author who's published two books, Reverse Speech in Theory & Practice: How To Use Your Unconcious Mind To Predict The Outcome Of Future Events & 40 Ways To Making Cash In 30 Days. Coming out as a lesbian in high school made it easier to find strength when she was diagnosed with a progressive neuromuscular disease she watched her Mom die from - with Leslie Krongold
Leslie and I discussed how she "came out" in high school, which set the stage for her being a strong woman who could handle what life dished out. Her Mom was diagnosed with a genetic condition in 1990 and passed away in 1992 at the age of 55, with brain and lung cancer, so there was never clear information for Leslie to fully understand the genetic condition. This genetic disease is a progressive neuromuscular disease and Leslie was diagnosed in her mid-30's. Fortunately, Leslie had adopted a radical self-care practice, as her disease has no cure or treatment. Diet, exercise, attitude, and relaxation has helped her live a full and more healthy lifestyle, already outliving her Mom by two years and counting.  She has watched others with the disease die, and by all accounts, she herself should have died already. We openly discussed wills, health directives, and different ways to handle death. website: http://glasshalffull.online/ Twitter: @Leslie_GHF Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/glasshalffullonline LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/lesliekrongold/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/GlassHalfFullOnline/ In her words: In Episode #1 of the Glass Half Full podcast, you’ll learn more about me and the foundation for this blog and podcast. But, for now… I was born and raised in South Florida. I left as soon as I could; heat and humidity have never agreed with me. I started my college years in New York City! A great place to live when you’re young. Looking for excitement, I moved to Northern California just in time for the Loma Prieta earthquake. I worked for a while in documentary filmmaking and eventually focused my career on educational multimedia. Hand stiffness led me to see a neurologist and through a rather brief diagnostic odyssey, I was told I have a rare genetic condition called myotonic dystrophy (DM). The multi-systemic nature of DM and its gradual progression has changed my life. Yet I often experience this as a bittersweet turn of events. Had I not been diagnosed early enough I may have wasted more time; now I am very intentional, mindful, and appreciative of life’s many joys.

After being married a couple times she found love at 62, had her doctorate, wrote a book about it and helps other - with Joan Bragar
After being married a couple of times, Joan is now happily married at age 62. She wrote a book, Never Too Late for Love (on Amazon) to capture her experience and lessons learned to pay it forward for others. Joan is a good storyteller and very funny.  She's enthusiastic about life and continues learning and teaching after a Masters and Doctorate from Harvard. She spent 15 years teaching at Boston University on Leadership. With 3 of her own divorces, she and I chat about online dating (and dating in general) over 50. I LOVED connecting with Joan - she is fantastic! YouTube: https://youtu.be/HYlDSQhMwpA Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/joanbragar Www. It’s inevitable that life will force you to face challenges and transitions that are seemingly unsolvable. I knew that this is the one life I had to live, and that if there was something that could be learned that would make my life great, I wanted to learn that. So I dedicated myself to transforming my life: from sadness as a single mother to great joy as a wife and matriarch of a large and expanding family. from not knowing where to work and contribute my talents to being a global consultant, coach, and professor of leadership.

Codependency, abusive father, feeling unworthy to best selling author who got out of self-doubt to self-love 5000 miles away from home - with Carla Romo
Carla has a published book, Contagious Love which is all about codependency. Not only is it super helpful for codependents, but Carla's story is also inspirational and therapeutic. My friend and editor have talked about the blanket of sadness on grueling runs. I see Carla's book as a blanket of therapeutic love.  Her father was abusive and it set the tone for childhood. As a 3-year-old hiding from her dad under the bed so he would not hurt her. It paved the way for her to be in codependent relationships where she was never fully living for herself. She used outside validation for worth, and believed if she was liked and needed, she was worthy. She felt broken and that she needed to be fixed so she tried to fix others. Ultimately, this cost her her happiness, peace of mind and serenity.  The reality check came blaring at 24 years old. Sort of the way your dog looks at you when it wants to eat breakfast. She was in an abusive relationship and was tired of living a life of self-doubt, unworthiness and not being enough. She saw two paths shining brightly: continue living a lonely life of unworthiness or live fearlessly with self-love and purpose.  She embarked upon a solo trip 5,000 miles away to gain clarity, with thoughts that were like a game of tug of war. Her mind wanted her to take the familiar road even if it was dangerous, but her gut roared against it.  Sitting in the Wicklow Mountains a small voice told her that she would be ok and to leave this relationship. In that moment she said out loud, “Carla you are too valuable and you can no longer do this to yourself”. Through trusting in the universe that she was not alone in this journey, she chose the path of self-love and purpose. Today she lives the life of the confident warrior: unstoppable, unapologetic, and in full control of her own happiness.  Website: https://iamcarlaromo.com/ FB & Instagram: @iamcarlaromo IN HER WORDS: I’m a certified dating & relationship coach, author, and speaker. I help women who feel stuck and stagnant build purpose and confidence in their break-ups, dating life & relationships. Basically, I’m your love-life cheerleader, here to watch you win at love at any stage in your relationship. I’ve watched my clients get married, get over their ex/heartbreak, fall in love, get back in the dating world, and save their marriage. Nothing is off-limits – from debunking the fear of “never finding love again” to effective communication saving your relationship. Working in fashion in Paris, growing up with a nanny from chronic pain in bed for 3 years, depression to launching books and a minimalist clothing line - with Jo Blakely
Jo tells me about her first job in Paris, France and how much she loved it, how passionate she is about fashion, having a nanny growing up in Toronto, how to get past being suicidal, and her new and amazing clothing line. When returning from Paris, Jo was disabled for 3 years with a serious back disability. (lost feeling in her leg for a while and still have a 'dead spot') In that time she was in chronic pain in bed for 3 years and had 2 surgeries and a number of treatments to help with pain management. That period was her hermetic period...a time of great contemplation and it was also the first-ever so slight spiritual experience that had me reexamining consciousness and beingness. She was very depressed but sought a way through to try and find happiness even if it meant being forever disabled and in pain, which is what she was largely told to expect from doctors. She started writing steamy romances because that was all she could read while in pain to avoid nightmares. And I was laughing so hard I eventually healed just from that...and some great physio! But laughter played a key part too. She learned a lot about herself and others in that time. Mostly about strengths and the weaknesses of others to find compassion or understanding or patience.  Eventually, that writing became creating children's books and illustrations and it is one of her businesses now. She has won international major awards of artistic excellence (Chen Bochui International Children's Literature Award). Married and desperate to leave to starting a new life and teaching her way through grief, pain, isolation of single parenting to helping others navigate divorce - with Sacheen Mobley
I adored this interview! From married and desperate to get from Washington State to living on Long Island, NY with her son to start a new life, she started writing, vlogging, and teaching her way through grief, pain, the isolation of single motherhood, and every other bag that wants to pack itself on the trip from married to divorced. Once she was given permission to leave (that's a WHOLE drama), I made a beeline for the furthest possible point I could get to without leaving the continental USA. Now, she works (hard) helping women navigate the bullshit myths about divorce and life after that keep them playing small, being scared, being broke, and settling for a new story that is worse than the one they left behind. Wishing she was more perfect as a child, to the same feeling rising after her two lawsuits at up to 100 million dollars, getting through depression and protecting her team - with Lisa Cox
BLACK FRIDAY SALE: Order link for my listeners which gives them $10 off the first purchase is Modere.com/lisacox I had so much fun with Lisa! We discussed not feeling good enough as a child, although she tried to be more "perfect". Later in life, that feeling rose it's head again when she had the first lawsuit against her, and more so with the second lawsuit of 100 million dollars that involved 11 people on her team she cared about like family. Lisa lost friends, felt alone and pushed everyone away. Her husband got her through it, pointing out her fear and depression. In time, with help, she is stronger than ever, grateful and now recognizes the same struggle in others. A child with autism, her husband's devastating diagnosis, poverty and creating a life she loves - with Carrie Caulfield Arick
Carrie and I discuss having a child with autism, being raised in a family with older kids, a mom from Denmark and the devastating diagnosis of her husband. http://yayapodcasting.com https://www.instagram.com/carriearick/ https://www.facebook.com/yayapodcasting/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/carrie-caulfield-arick/ In her words: I'm a mom to an autism kiddo (now 18) and my husband who received a devastating diagnosis in 2010 that required the removal of part of his skill, dead brain tissue and part of the cervical spine. This meant we went from being comfortable financially to dirt poor. My hubby now suffers from chronic pain and cognitive issues. I had to step up, so I began picking up gigs teaching scrapbook page design and started a memory keeping podcast that paid for itself and helped me establish my authority in the niche. Then, in 2016 my son began his struggle with strep throat. He peaked at 3 strep infections a month. At the same time, his school was absolutely awful, restraining him for any reason at all. so every day I was literally at school for something. They reclassified him as emotionally disturbed without any evaluation (totally against IDEA laws). So, I had to drop everything to advocate and fight the system for him. I ended up getting him placed in special private school for special needs kids. By then, we were eking out a living on my hubby's disability and my child support. When my son was settled and there was no more AND I finally stopped waiting for the other shoe to drop, I went back to work... and honestly, a fight with my hubby kicked me in the butt because I realized that I had no out if needed (and I left my first marriage pregnant with the clothes on my back, so I wasn't doing that ever again). I started picking up graphic design jobs on Upwork... and I tested the waters to see if I could get paid for my podcasting knowledge... turns out, I could. I started my business, Ya Ya Podcasting, officially in 2018. I produce, edit, coach and provide copywriting services for podcasters. I've grown it to include 4 team members to serve our clients in under a year and now I do speaking and training and advocacy for the podcast editors and the podcasting community. It's not easy, but I LOVE

Playboy model 7 times who went through domestic violence, explains the stigma behind Playboy models, talks therapy and not getting breast implants - with Jasmin Shojai
Jasmin is an internationally published model and upcoming actress. I am so proud she shares her story of domestic violence and loved learning about her modeling career and discuss Playboy and the stigma vs her experience. She told me "after you fold a piece of paper and flatten it out, it may still be a piece of paper but it will never be the same" and that's what it's like with abuse. She hated feeling weak or anyone else feeling that way. She had the power of 1 on 1 therapy, put effort into herself. She took TIME, no medication and was authentic and thankful. OF COURSE, I asked her about breast size, plastic surgery and feeling your best. In her words: I started my journey 4 years ago and have never looked back since. It was an interesting journey for me, starting in a small city in Australia. I am a first-generation Australian, with a Persian and German background. So I believe my ability to adapt and my international look were qualities noticed by a lot of professionals in the industry. When I started modeling, I had just come out of a domestic violence relationship that went on for several months. I wanted to try something new and do something for myself. I always wanted to be a model and actress since I was a child. And perhaps this was the perfect time to pursue it. In my second year of modeling, I entered one of the top Glamour Model competitions happening at the time and ultimately won the title of 'Australia's Top Glamour Model of 2017' This experience and achievement alone was incredible, and it truly gave me a lot of recognition. I was given an extended year to my 'crown', after the director noticed my ongoing achievements in my career I have posed for the Playboy brand 7 times. Including a Cover in October 2018 for Playboy Croatia. And was also named 'Playmate of the Month' for that issue. I have modeled for fashion, beauty and other men's magazines as well. You can view my interview and feature with Maxim USA online, which was such an honor to be a part of The USA and LA specifically have been huge positives, and influences in my life. I am honored to have connected with so many people. And call LA one of my homes. I am very passionate about modeling and acting, and the US industry has more than helped me. It has inspired me and has kept me more driven than ever to do my best. With acting, I have done music videos, a commercial, a film in Seattle called 'The Alliance' by Robert L. Butler, and an Australian Mini-Series called 'At The Phoenix'. I have strong goals when it comes to acting. And I can definitely say, developing both my acting and modeling career in the United States were the best decisions I have ever made I currently travel between LA, Sydney, and Canberra. And look forward to networking with industry professionals around the globe.

Raped by her father an incest survivor who was in foster care, in and out of her home and abused even after she was married, checking herself into an acute psychiatric hospital - with Nancy Allen
Nancy Allen, from Georgia by way of Massachusetts, is a father-daughter incest survivor. Her story moved me literally to tears in this interview. Physically and emotionally abused from early childhood, Nancy was briefly mandated into a kinship foster care placement by social services at age 14, a year after the abuse turned sexual. This removal and related court ordered “punishment” of therapy made Nancy feel that she was as equally at fault as her father. Within a few months of her return home, the incest resumed, and over the next decade, her father created an escalating abusive environment to indulge his sadistic fantasies. When she was 28, her father died, and her repressed world exploded. She checked herself into an acute psychiatric hospital and began her healing journey.  Nancy spent the next two decades channeling this experience into becoming a successful, strong woman both personally and professionally. On a personal level, she firmly believes in giving back to the community and helping others help themselves. She’s been an advocate for abused children and intellectually challenged adults, has fostered and adopted children, and served on the board of two related non-profits. Professionally, she has over 30 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry across numerous disciplines, with a passion for empowering individuals in the workplace. Initially focused on her teams' development, she later extended her reach and launched a comprehensive cross culture mentoring program for female colleagues based in India.  Unfortunately, at age 49, Nancy’s world was turned upside down again when her husband of 28 years committed suicide while she was away from home for work. Compounding this trauma, she was forced to address the resurfacing of her childhood demons, having lost the “safe place” of her high school sweetheart's embrace. Although devastated by his loss, Nancy stepped up as the sole parent for her traumatized sons. She soon discovered that, even decades later, there were still very limited resources beyond therapy to help incest survivors through life’s difficult moments. Nonetheless, with assistance from her employer, family, and friends, she made a fresh start, relocated to Georgia, continued her healing journey and started the next chapter of her life.  Enough is enough! Nancy’s focus after decades of repurposing all of her experiences, both good and bad, is to help create a world where incest survivors have a different life experience than she did. Feeling outside of the norm and disconnected from the larger community, resources didn’t exist to prevent her from feeling different, misunderstood and alone. She wants to champion others to say “I am an incest survivor” without shame, guilt, or fear of repercussions, and to open a dialogue which removes the societal taboo of acknowledging and discussing incest. Just as we rush to put out a house fire and support the survivors with love, compassion, and help, Nancy dreams that one day we will rush without judgment to extinguish the fire of incest.  A strong voice for those shamed to silence and the long-term impacts of child sexual abuse, Nancy hosts Tail of the Bell podcast available on most podcast platforms. Each episode focuses on a specific topic interpreted through a featured incest survivor’s personal story and, where needed, further explored by experts. A trained life coach, Nancy also helps incest survivors help themselves through Tail of the Bell, Inc's programs.  Website: www.tailofthebell.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/tailofthebell LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/nancy-allen-tail-of-the-bell/ Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/tail-of-the-bell/id1458131463

Stripping With My Daughter Alana - SEX!
My 21-year-old daughter, Alana and I co-host once a month, while we strip it down and bare it all discussing topics from traditions to sex, divorce to depression, abuse to drug use and everything in between. Raised by a strict Catholic mom and a dad that survived the Holocaust, losing him to cancer, getting divorced, and finding unconditional, passionate love and her purpose – with Belinda Zylberman
Belinda opens up about growing up with a Mom who was raised strict Catholic and a Dad who was a Holocaust survivor. It was an unhappy environment focused on pain, struggle, and conflict. We discuss her parents getting divorced, her father's terminal lung cancer, college and embracing the entirety of her life: choices, thoughts, traumas, and upbringing. This embrace, not the embrace of a lover, led her back home, to herself, to love. That's how she found the unconditional passionate love relationship she had been longing to create. Through all of the conflict, change, and transition she discovered what she longed for even more than love – her purpose. www.paikeamediation.com www.facebook.com/belindazylberman www.welcometothepractice.com (for a free online version of my book) www.instagram.com/belindazylberman IN HER WORDS: I fell in love, a real, deep, challenging and satisfying love, with myself. And I started a business to help couples and families move through conflict and challenging life events armed with a greater capacity to be with the dark and welcome the light. I’ve journeyed with hundreds of families through separation, divorce, re-committing in relationships, co-creating, co-parenting, re-partnering and living in blended families, and even experimenting with the possibility of “starting from scratch” in a long-term relationship. Recently re-married and navigating my way in my great, big, blended family, my life centers around one theme: the possibility of what life could be when I embrace the pain, the conflict, and the transition. Thus the work I do within my own family and with my clients is to discover our inner knowing and experience conflict as an opportunity, hardships as lessons, and solitude as a time for reflection.

Delivering a full-term baby that was dead, working as a physical therapist for horses and combining horse trauma and her trauma to heal them both and open that up to others - with Helen Brennand
Helen and I connected and it was so amazing. Taking writing and attaching the experience to a horse is so appealing to me as a writer, I longed to go visit her, let a horse "choose" me and write book #2. With such an amazing background, she allowed her experiences with the horses to shape how she designed her business. The work she's doing is so fantastic and I love her story.  FACEBOOK: helenbbooks SONG: BOOKS: http://www.belief444.com/the-books.html WEBSITE: http://www.belief444.com/home.html EXCERPT: file:///Users/tempadmin/Downloads/2C2C-Cont-Author-Helen-Brennand-Press-Kit%20(1).pdf ABOUT THEM: The Haven is a home for animals, it is a peaceful environment centered around our herd of horses who provide healing for people to help them find balance and harmony in their lives (see Healing with The Herd). We also offer a service of holistic rehabilitation for horses and ponies recovering from illness, injury or trauma. ABOUT HELEN Helen is an author, instructor, equine bodyworker and animal communicator. She practices Yoga and Meditation and combines these practices with horse and human. Crippling anxiety while traveling the world, feeling not present in life with debilitating psychogenic pain to becoming a Life and Confidence Coach - with Savanna Schiavo
Savanna and I discussed crippling anxiety, doing amazing things but feeling overwhelmed and not present in the moment to the point that she had debilitating psychogenic pain. She learned how to change that, turn it around and not only move through her own anxiety but to become a Life and Confidence Coach. Through it all, she remained with the love of her life - which is amazing. She learned to let go of severe anxiety over health, safety, and money as well as feelings of self-doubt. She learned to live big and be true to herself. It was an honor spending time together. Going from a prison doctor who was held by a prisoner for 10 hours and raped, to a published author advocating for prisoners, including having an ex-con as a roommate. Take 2 - with Karen Gedney
Karen and I met again for an update of information.  As I know Karen personally, I get to see the impact she has made and is still making in the lives of prisoners - including having a former prisoner as a roommate in her house. Her focus is on using the prison system to rehabilitate people and send them into the world not only better than they came in but as contributing, adjusted people. She spends her time now teaching from the stage.  In her words: I'd like to talk about how to use one's creativity to help transform institutions and society. I think that there is a lot of pain in the world that the medical and the correctional world both get wrong. Both concentrate on the endpoint which is preventable, costly and tragic. I think that creativity through stories, poetry, art, music and how we can touch other people's lives in positive ways can help transform systems and societies. I'll talk about why I wrote my book, but I'd also really like to talk about the healing I saw take place in the prison thru the creative writing and poetry course that was taught by Shaun Griffin, the poet laureate for the state and the inmates he was able to touch and transform. Also, the story of Ismael Santillanes the inmate artist who did the illustrations in my book and is now has a published poetry book called Indelicate Angels. It also happens that he taught fine art to inmate Michael Clifford Helm who is the author of Mayhem- A Life (his memoir where he mentions me and what I did as a prison doctor for him). He came in the prison with not completing high school and left with a high school diploma, 2 years of college and when he left became a nuclear medicine technician. Growing up in poverty, first in her family to finish high school, hating her life and finding what brings her joy - with Mica McCook
Mica's story will touch your heart. Growing up in poverty, loving theater, feeling like she didn't have a place, bouncing around and listless. Mica built baggage on her journey. She was the first in my family to graduate from high school. The first to go to college. She was also the first to drop out of college. One day she snapped with her boyfriend and said how she felt. "I hate my life!". Then came the rebuilding of the things she once loved, in a new way.  Find Mica HERE

Stripping With My Daughter Alana - Parenting Teens
Today Alana and I discuss parenting teens. As a parent, I was not permissive but not restrictive. I trusted my kids even when I knew they were lying. They knew they could always come to me, although I wasn't always the first choice. They really relied on each other - which I love. Not all of them choose to communicate with each other or me, which is really hard to watch and feel.  We talked about sex, drugs, sneaking out, alcohol at 16, and birth control among other things.
