What is the common usage for the word impossible? When most people say that something is impossible what they really mean is that they don’t know how to do it, they can’t figure it out, and neither can they imagine that anyone else can figure it out either.

Flying a heavier than air machine, watching the ball drop on New Year’s Eve in New York from a box in California in real time, with synchronized sound sent around the world at 186,000 miles per second, flying and landing on the Moon—all were impossible, until they weren’t.

It is not possible to determine that one man’s moral actions are more or less moral than another man’s moral actions. Actions are either moral or they are not.

Morality is a black or white concept; there are no degrees of morality. A moral action is any action, preferred by at least one person which does not interfere with the property of another—period.

In physics, you can’t build anything based on false premises or invalid logic, so it should be of little surprise then that you can’t do it in volition either.

Our 6000 year, unbroken historical record of mass murder, torture of innocents, seizure and destruction of property, embezzlement, arson, vandalism, and fraud proves that beyond doubt.

But if truth and validity together have worked so well as a standard of rightness in physics, does that mean that it will work and work well when it comes to human action?

Is there any agreement as to how to determine truth between the religions or even within the religious sects? No, there isn’t. Do our philosophers agree as to how to determine truth? Do our economists agree as to how to determine truth? Do our educators, our law makers, or our doctors agree as to how to determine truth?

No, they do not. And, we can see that, because they do not agree as to how to determine truth, we have not solved any of the social problems—ever.

But our physicists do agree on what is true. So, what is true in physics?

In order for humanity to progress, we must discover and adopt a more sophisticated and reliable standard of rightness than the relative standard we’ve always relied on in our daily lives.

That reliable standard of rightness has a long history of success in the physical sciences, it is a standard of rightness that we call simply the “Absolute Standard Of Rightness.”

Time is the great decider when it comes to who or what is right and wrong.

Can you imagine what progress Humanity could have made were the denounced scholars in our history been allowed to continue their work? How much further along would we be now had there been some method of determining “rightness” sooner—or immediately upon their scientific disclosure?

Is that possible?

Well, that’s what we are talking about in No.9 of The Rational Apprentice Podcast: “How Do You Know You Are Right?”

It’s not difficult to call “A” a thief when he is stealing a hypothetical car from “C” but when “A” and “C” become real people in real situations, will it be more difficult for us to maintain our convictions.

The Rational Apprentice Podcast is linear and must be listened to in order, starting from episode No.1

Our new company is “Subjugation, Inc.” and our mission is simple and unary: To enslave as many people as possible.

Now just how do we go about doing that?

Can you come up with an example from the past when an innovation that made true positive change for mankind first required the destruction of what came before it in order to be built or marketed?

And can you come up with an example from the past when we have experienced true positive change for mankind as a result of forced change--where something is first destroyed, outlawed, or taxed into oblivion in order to enact that change?

In this 6th episode of The Rational Apprentice Podcast, we discuss whether the idea that you must "destroy to build" is valid or empirically true.

When we discuss topics such as theft or slavery, most of us would probably agree that there is some universal, some objective view as to what constitutes theft and slavery and some universal, some objective view as to whether they are good or bad.

But this turns out to be far from true—the best we can say is that theft and slavery adhere to a triad of probabilities when it comes to rightness and wrongness.

Using our derived operational definition of property, we will define both theft and slavery and determine, without qualification, what they are and what they are not.

Which statement would you most agree with:

1. In today's society there is entirely too much theft going on,
2. In today's society, we don't have enough theft going on, or,
3. In today's society, we have just the right amount of theft going on.

Could some stealing be “good stealing” and how can we answer this question and know, absolutely, whether we are right?

In this fourth episode of The Rational Apprentice Podcast, we explore these ideas by discussing the most primary concept: property. Where does property come from? How is it made? Who owns what, and how do we know?

When we assume we are discussing such things like “My Body, My Choice” only to find out later that we were really discussing “My Body, YOUR choice,” well, we wind up with problems.

Precision is required in a science—a universal language devoid of ambiguity, confusion, and interpretation.

In this third episode of The Rational Apprentice Podcast, we read a fantastic paper by Richard Boren discussing the definition of the word “coercion”.

This is our first foray into the nature of meaning and the construction of Operational Definitions.

Imagine walking into a room of a thousand people. You're looking for one specific person but you don't know their name, whether they are male or female, what they look like, or what they are wearing. What do you think the odds are of you finding this person in a room of a thousand? 

Now imagine that you are fighting for freedom in your society. What do you think the odds are that you will attain freedom if those in your society do not agree on what freedom means, what it looks like, how to measure it, and how to attain it?

In this second episode of The Rational Apprentice Podcast, we discuss the concept of Semantic Precision, the first, essential tool we must use in order to both isolate the root cause of our societal problems and identify those factors which have been so successful in the natural sciences—and apply them to society.

What are a few of the problems we face today?

Insufficient food and energy supply, race riots, continually creeping taxation, inadequate transportation, overpopulation, skyrocketing inflation, never-ending war, increasing crime, inadequate education, increasing unemployment, increasing pollution, Cancer, AIDS, and other diseases, political corruption and scandal. The list goes on and on.

Time passes and technology evolves but these are exactly the same problems that have been plaguing society for thousands of years. Yet, is there any record that these principle, these most fundamental problems have ever been solved, at any time, in history? Is it possible that our method of solving societal problems could be, in some way, defective?

Join us for the first episode of The Rational Apprentice Podcast where we begin the process of isolating the SINGLE root cause of all of humanity's problems. The solution is attainable, but the root cause must be precisely identified—and that’s where the scientific method comes in.
