BRYCK ROSE today's Poetry Corner Guest

The talented BRYCK ROSE will be our Poetry Corner guest KAREN “The Bryck Rose” MORRISON, formerly K Vibes on the Reggae scene, is a gifted international Reggae recording artiste. Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised by a Jamaican mother, her roots are deeply embedded in the Caribbean-American experience. She has performed extensively on the Reggae circuit, including opening for artists such as Maxi Priest, Luciano, Sanchez and The Mighty Diamonds. Among her notable hits are ‘Frenemies’, ‘Bye Bye Rebel’ (Studio One – Sir Coxsone Dodd); ‘Reggae Music I Am’ (King Jammys); ‘Raggamuffin Soldier (Digital English); ‘Time’ (Clive Chin); ‘As He Made You’ (Strictly Yard Music) and ‘Pull up’ (I Love Sound).   https://sites.google.com/site/tapiocaretreat/

Now as a writer/poet, Bryck Rose connects with her fans and lovers of poetry with her first anthology, DEWDROPS: HEARTICAL POETRY (English & Jamaican Patwa). This publication is a skillfully crafted reader-friendly, an anthology of 52 “heartical” poems: each poem opens a window into the heart and soul of the poet and takes the reader along a meandering path of true-to-life emotional experiences; love and loss; joy and pain; happiness and grief; but with every dewdrop, hope and inspiration rise and lift the spirit higher.
