The Kraken have a new home and a new voice! Jeremy and Dan discuss the hiring of new (to Seattle) play-by-play commentator John Forslund as well as the television deal that brings the team to ROOT Sports. Other topics include the Laine-Dubois trade, the ticking timeline to hire a head coach, a legendary goalie fight, and the worst statistic in hockey.

Dan and Jeremy give us their overreactions to the first week of 2021 NHL action, including one brave (read: stupid) take on the Detroit Red Wings, a lesson in hating Matthew Tkachuk, and a debate over whether or not the Bruins really are good. The 2020-2021 NHL season preview! Jeremy and Dan give an overview of each division heading into the new season, each giving their picks for the 4 playoff teams as well as the bottom feeder from each division.  Sqidwords gets saucy, and the movie rosters expand via the fight-filled film Goon.

Hockey is officially on its way back in the NHL. Dan and Jeremy discuss which divisions in the new 2021 COVID-era alignment will be the best, worst, and most fun to watch. Also updates on the lack of a WHL return, the new Mighty Ducks show, and finally define a couple more squidwords to keep the hockey vocabulary as fresh as possible.

Dan and Jeremy each drafted a new Seattle Kraken team using NHL 21's expansion mode. They break down which selections are realistic and which are perhaps less so.
