In the first eight hours of NBA Free Agency, there were forty-eight contracts signed totaling just over three billion dollars. Sounds like baseball with all this money being thrown around. In this episode we are naming winners and losers from this first day of free agency, and trying to recap all the trades and signings. In this week's episode of "The Three & D" we have another installment of overrated and underrated players, this time looking at football players. There is basketball talk as usual as we get deeper into the finals, and we introduce a new segment we are calling Dumb Shit On NBA Twitter. Where we find tweets we think are dumb and riff on them, poking fun at keyboard coaches who think they know everything. It is a sad day in the greater Philadelphia area, for the Sixers have fallen. After a buzzer beater in Game 7, the Sixers lose to the Raptors and everyone is heartbroken. The Toronto Raptors advance to face the Milwaukee Bucks and the Portland Trail Blazers go on to play the Golden State Warriors. But does any of it really matter if our beloved Sixers aren't playing. It definitely puts a damper on things but the show must go on. Just what is going on over in LA, but we do know one thing, and that's the Lakers playoff picture does not look very good. In close to home news, Bryce Harper comes to Philly in a landmark deal and we could not be happier. The Phillies are not to be messed with, especially with rumors that Bryce Harper will use his pull to bring Mike Trout to the Phillies in 2020. The NFL season coming to an end does not mean an end to football, the AAF is here to fill that void. We pick AAF teams to follow through their season, and we are very excited to watch this league as it progresses. The  Basketball Africa League or BAL is another new league poised to launch in January 2020. This is a very exciting opportunity for the NBA and basketball as a sport to expand and reach talent that may otherwise go unnoticed. How could we forget All-Star Weekend, between the skills challenge, dunk contest, 3-point contest and the All-Star game itself there is a going on down in Charlotte.

We debut a new segment called team review where we look at an NBA team and determine if they are Finals Contenders or not given their talent and depth. In addition, every week we shine a light on one underrated  or underappreciated player from the team under review.

In this week's episode of "The Three & D" everyone is upset after the Eagles defeat by the hands of Drew Brees. Nevertheless, each Super Bowl match-up makes for an interesting game and we are all eagerly anticipating what lies ahead after this weeks games. In the basketball world we have been seeing James Harden lighting it up, but we have also seen confusion and doubt in the Lakers organization. So we decided to role-play as Lakers GM and say what we would do in that position and give possible avenues to pursue regarding trades and restructuring. Also Chris and Mike argue for a good five minutes and that is always a good time.

In this weeks episode of "The Three & D" we give our recap of the wild card playoff games (Go Birds!). Our hype for the divisional round grows larger and larger, will we see the Eagles v. Colts match-up of our dreams? And of course who could forget, the NBA All-Star votes. We run down the current leaders and discuss why some of them should not be in the running at all.
