(S2) Episode 4: How COVID-19 might be affecting Black Voters in America.

(S2) Episode 4: How COVID-19 might be affecting Black Voters in America.

Coming to you live from the end of Fall 2020, we had an in-depth conversation about COVID-19 disparities in incidence and mortality for Black people in America, the history of voter suppression in America, and finally how those two things might be linked today and reflected in the 2020 election.

As mentioned, this podcast episode was part of a final project for a class, but we couldn't resist uploading since it's been so busy and so long since we last did so this season!

As of right now, we don't have any guarantees as to when the next episode will arrive, but until then, thank you all for joining us for this ride and for listening faithfully!

God bless and thank you again!

(S2) Episode 3: Spring Break in New York City (featuring COVID-19)

(S2) Episode 3: Spring Break in New York City (featuring COVID-19)

Greetings quarantined friends! Today we talk about what we did for Spring Break - we took a mission trip to New York City! I know what you're thinking - wasn't that kind of a bad idea given the circumstances? Well, we discuss that and lots more.

Please mind the audio quality as Matthew and I recorded this episode remotely in observation of the sheltering-in-place orders and social distancing. We want to keep this thing going but you'll have to bear with this just as with everything else!

Be safe out there and take time to love on those around you while you have them around you. Find the positives in this time of negativity!

God bless and thanks for listening ---

WELCOME BACK

After a long, LONG wait (school is busy, they apologize), here is the unabashed take on the second of the Star Wars prequel movies, Episode 2: Attack of the Clones. Listen in for the separating Separatists, the continued love affair of Anakin and Padme, a hatred of sand, and the buildup to a very exciting prequel finale in Episode 3.

Again, this episode was recorded the week of February 21, but was not uploaded until March 5 due to time constraints and busy schedules.

Thanks for listening - Matthew and I are really enjoying the show and to the 5 of you listening, we appreciate your time.

God bless and may the force be with you ---

(S1) Episode 6 (FINALE): Fall Recap, College Life, and Star Wars (with Emily Stephens)

(S1) Episode 6 (FINALE): Fall Recap, College Life, and Star Wars (with Emily Stephens)

And so Season 1 has come to a close!
On today's episode, we talked about what stuck out today to each of us individually and what we think some of the keys to making the most of college life are. We mentioned our experiences so far this year and talked about the high points. Then, we got into Star Wars and how we have been preparing for The Rise of Skywalker. Near the end, of course, we discussed MSU's final home game of the college football season, the battle for the golden egg. AKA - The Egg Bowl.

Thanks so much for listening! Mind the occasional blowing sounds - Matthew and I had access to better mics today, but our friend Emily was stuck using one that left a little to be desired.

We hope you enjoyed listening this season and please, come back next time! Spread it to your friends and make sure to rate us 5 stars on Apple Podcasts!

Have a blessed holiday season and as always, God bless ya -

(S1) Episode 2: Snapchat, Mississippi State Football, and Joker (featuring Cal Brown)

(S1) Episode 2: Snapchat, Mississippi State Football, and Joker (featuring Cal Brown)

(Recorded on October 4th, 2019) On this episode, we go in depth about how Matthew JUST downloaded Snapchat and why he waited so long to do it, we talk about Fall Break and how it is too dang hot in Mississippi, we discuss the fate of Mississippi State's College Football season, and to round it out, we give our honest opinions on the recently released Joker (2019).

WARNING: Joker is a violent, dark movie and it is rated R for a reason. If the content of the movie disturbed anyone or may disturb you, DO NOT LISTEN to the last section of the podcast. There is a SPOILER warning before we begin discussing the movie so if this is you, that's your time to exit.

Hope you enjoy this episode! Quality should be better and as always, we're learning this as we go. Big shoutout to our friend Cal for stopping by to speak with us. Look for him and others to return in future episodes!

Have a great day and God bless ya ---

(S1) Episode 1: One-Party States, Talent, and Newswriting

(S1) Episode 1: One-Party States, Talent, and Newswriting

To begin,

I apologize for the audio quality of this episode - the recording was impromptu and Matthew and I were in the middle of a two hour car ride (he was driving, I was not.)

Episode 2 has already been recorded and cleaned up and I PROMISE that it is much better sound level-wise and quality-wise.

Anyways, thank you so much for listening - make sure you follow The Untitled Podcast so that you don't miss the newest episodes!

Have a great day, God bless ----
