Lynnis Minutes - Increasing Omega 3 Through Her Foods

In this Lynnis Minutes, I talk about the importance of Omega-3 in our diets. Omega-3 fatty acids are essential because the body is not capable of producing them on its own. That's why it is crucial we get enough from our diet. Omega-3s are extremely beneficial; they are an integral part of cell membranes throughout the body and affect cell receptors in these membranes. They also help with hormone production and regulate blood clotting, contraction and relaxation of artery walls, and inflammation in the body. Omega 3 has been shown to reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, and cancer, and may help control eczema, depression, and rheumatoid arthritis.

In this segment of “Loving the Natural You” Lynnis and Dr. Renée Galloway speak on the topic of: How to Rekindle Focus and Motivation In Mid-Life.

Often in life we get distracted from our passion or lose our motivation, and Dr. Renée provides ways for us to get ourselves “un-stuck” and knock down our mental barriers in order to get reconnected to our motivation. Some tactics that Lynnis and Renée discuss are setting priorities, developing the ability to say “no”, staying focused, and putting yourself first. Meet Dr. Renée M. Galloway! What started out as informal coaching and consulting over 20 years ago, soon grew into something way bigger than she ever anticipated. Her proven success strategies of goal setting, time management, and action plans have catapulted individuals, as well as small business owners to new levels of success. Renee’s mission is crystal clear: to empower others to live their very best life, and achieve personal and professional success—one strategic initiative at a time.

Dr. Renee Galloway’s underlying motivation for being a coach is her passion to help others birth their dreams and goals by taking the three-step approach outlined in her book Done! Prioritize, Plan and Preform to Accomplish Your Goals. Her call to action is that everyone should have actionable goals and not allow everyday life to take in the direction we'd rather not travel. At a treat to the public, Dr. Renee Galloway is giving away a free download of the first chapter of her book Done! Prioritize, Plan and Perform To Accomplish Your Goals.

We are the result of the sum total of our life’s experiences – both good and bad.  By the time we get to mid-life we have a lot of “hurt” baggage that has unpacked it’s contents in the depths of our soul.  How do we begin to pack up all that hurt …the accumulation of years of disappointments, frustrations, hurt, anger, lost and heal our souls so we can move forward in life, healthier and happier?  Dr. Katherine Kelley shares with us why it is important to heal our souls and what we can do to usher in a holistic form of healing for our mind, body, spirit, and soul.

Katherine T. Kelley, Ph.D., M.S.P.H. is a licensed psychologist in her own psychotherapy and consulting practice in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  With 25+ years of direct clinical experience, Dr. Kelly doesn’t just believe in helping others to heal; instead, her mission is to help them to evolve.  Using her own integrative framework – the south Health Model-  Dr. Kelly approaches her work with clients from a “psycho-spiritual” perspective.  She provides a uniquely progressive, yet down-to-earth approach to healing and is well-known in both the therapeutic and medical communities.  She thrives as she helps clients to reach what she calls “consciousness evolution” through a variety of self-designed methods. She just recently launched a new line of essential oils – Soul Heal Essentials and is releasing a new book Recipe for Radiance – Mastering The Art and Soul of Self –Care.

Life Coaches Part Two: Sandra Corso Shares How to Have a Breakthrough Year

This show’s guest is Sandra Corso. She is a life strategist, retreat leader, and champion of women's independence! She is frustrated by the socially conditioned women who see relationships as their only path to fulfillment. When she was 40 years old her husband of 16 years suddenly left. She thought everything was “fine”, not wonderful, just “fine. She became accustomed to her not so wonderful, just okay relationship. She spent years trying to be perfect him for him, so when he left, she was devastated and confused. Three months later he committed suicide, leaving her with an 11 and 15 ear old all by herself. She had officially lost herself. What followed was years of trial an error, with an emphasis on error trying to figure everything out. The one thing she really liked was not having anyone to answer to. She realized she could breathe again. She became determined to make a life for herself and her children without anybody else interfering. Now she uses wisdom and the lessons she has learned to help other women embrace life on their own.

This FREE Workbook 'The FIRST Key to an Independent Life!' provides a decision-making guide for the Suddenly Single Woman who is completely overwhelmed by ALL THOSE DECISIONS and is actually THE first step in my one-on-one coaching program!

Adrian is CONVINCED there is GREATNESS within all of us, we just have to tap into it! She is compelled to help the disheartened, frustrated, overwhelmed women out there that do not see the light at the end of the tunnel or mistakenly believe there best years are behind them because they have a reached a certain age in this youth-obsessed world. We have MORE value as we age, and Adrian wants to empower women to live their best life at ANY age!

Anita stands for unconditional self-love and total self-acceptance. It is the foundation for everything she teaches, and threaded through all topics, whether it be finances, intimate relationships, family, health, community, etc. What sets her apart from others is how she defines self-love as an ongoing process: To know, to love and to express your authentic self no matter what others think of you, what you've been through in the past or your current circumstances. All steps go hand in hand to comprise the full experience of self-love.
