In this episode, we had an open conversation covering a few subjects. We had a guest caller as well as my wife Ashley share some wisdom and recent experiences. We touched on the conversion of Saul into Paul, how to measure your life as a believer, and how important it is to fellowship with the Lord on a daily basis.

In this episode, we touch on the process of how the Word of God produces fruit in our lives. Many of us have not been taught how to receive or come into agreement with the Word of God, so we experience spiritual stagnation or periods of drought because we lack insight into the process of spiritual impartation. 

When we understand that the Word of God is spirit and that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, we can be more intelligent and decisive in our response to the written and spoken Word of God.

• The word 'amen' means 'truly' and 'so be it'. When we say things like 'amen' in response to the Word of God, we are saying that whatever we heard, saw, or read is true and we are outwardly expressing our agreement with it. Our intentional physical interaction with the written or spoken Word of God strengthens our faith in the Word of God since faith comes by hearing.    
• The Word of God produces fruit, not you. You can only yield to the process of growth by placing your trust in God and Heaven's processes.
• Our heart is the soil that the Word of God must penetrate for His Word to produce fruit. The "fruit' of His Spirit is a changed life that brings glory to God.

In the final part of this five-part series on the rarely discussed topic of setting boundaries, we discuss the importance of setting boundaries- especially for ourselves. Oftentimes, we need to set boundaries and limitations for ourselves so that we can remain in the right position. When we guard ourselves and practice self-discipline, especially with our tongue, we gain power and influence. The more you understand the power of thoughts and words, the more intentional you will be with the people, places, and things you entertain and allow to inform/influence you. As a child of God, you want to be intentional about what you take inside your mind and spirit.

In part four of this five-part series on the rarely discussed importance of setting boundaries, we discussed how boundaries help you to discern difference. Often, we have been raised or established a certain way and that way becomes a model for how we view and respond to life situations. We need to be trained on how to respond rather than react, similar to how a thermostat responds and adjusts the system according to the temperature in a room while a thermometer simply reads and displays/mirrors the current temperature.

It's important that you spend time with the Lord and His servants so you can discern the territory that you have been called to navigate and influence on behalf of the kingdom of God. The more you know about your God-given territory, the more effective, focused, and intentional you will be on a day-to-day basis- but first, you must know how boundaries work.

It's possible that some of us are not experiencing adequate rest in Jesus because we are not establishing enough borders in our relationships, businesses, family, etc.

You will never look at forgiveness the same way after hearing this message!
