Rene Thornton Jr.

In the Versailles Ballroom at The Westgate Hotel, Theatre Corner sits down with Shakespearean Actor Rene Thornton Jr.  He recently performed as Antonio in The Old Globe's productions of "The Tempest" and "Much Ado About Nothing." From 2004 to 2017, he was a resident company member at American Shakespeare Center in Virginia, where he appeared in more than 137 roles and 118 productions, performing in every play in Shakespeare's Folio. Mr. Thornton has an M.F.A. in Theatre, Professional Theatre Training Program at University of Delaware, and a B.F.A. in Theatre, University of Utah.
