Ash is an Australian racing driver who currently drives for Brad Jones Racing as a co-driver alongside Jack Smith. Walsh took up motor racing in 1999 by racing go karts at the Ipswich Kart Club. By 2003, he was a dual Australian Karting Champion. Natural progression followed, and in the following years Ash made his debut in Formula Racing and finally into Supercar Racing. He is currently gearing up for another Supercar season, all the while practicing as an Accountant.
We talk about Ash's career to date, what training an elite V8 supercar driver has to do in order for a race, how much it costs to get into the sport, go-karting, what Ash is up to now and much more.
#4 - Wallaby legend John Eales
Former Australia captain John Eales is one of a select group of players to have won two Rugby World Cups, in 1991, aged just 21, and as captain in 1999. A towering second-row, Eales was not only an outstanding lineout expert and great ball player, but also a formidable kicker of the ball. With 173 points to his name, he remains the highest point scoring forward in the history of the game. Among his most memorable kicks was a late match-winner from the touchline to win the Bledisloe Cup in 2000. Eales, who made over a century of appearances for Queensland, made his test debut against Wales in his hometown of Brisbane in 1991 and went on to earn 86 caps over the next decade. At the time of his retirement, Eales was the most-capped second-row in history.

A talented footballer, he represented Aberdeen Schools and was selected for Scotland Schools but was unable to play due to injury. The caretaker of his school, Jim Lornie, the former St Mirren goalkeeper, was a scout for Liverpool and he suggested to Bill Shankly, the new manager of the club, that he should take a look at this promising striker and that’s where it all began.
