Kerry Codoley is a SAS Blue Belt from Lexington, KY. We competed against each other at The Good Fight Tournament in Spartanburg, South Carolina on 7/31/21. We became friends, and I have a lot of respect for him. It was an honor to share the mats with him, and I look forward to being able to spend more time with him in the future.

Derrick is the owner of The Next Element Academy in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and a good friend of mine. It was such an honor to have him on the podcast to not only talk about being under Kurt Pellegrino, but his personal growth on and off the mats!
