The Creative Genius of Matthew Knowles

The Creative Genius of Matthew Knowles

He’s a Music Executive, Public Speaker, Best Selling Author, Professor, Real Estate Developer, Entrepreneur who just received his doctorate degree, CEO of Music World Entertainment and the father of the world’s biggest pop star of our time Beyoncé and daughter Solange.

All of Mathew’s speaking engagements have been canceled for the rest of the year. This is a huge loss for his company Music World Entertainment since most of his revenue comes from these speaking appearances.

Mr. Knowles generates awareness about COVID-19 & the importance of social distancing with new PSA video that he produced thru his label Music World Entertainment: https://vimeo.com/409994280

Mathew Knowles is best known for managing Destiny’s Child and grooming his daughters Beyoncé and Solange to mega stardom from his indie label Music World Entertainment.

2020 was supposed to be the year of Destiny’s Child’s return but things have now changed due to COVID19. Mathew was planning to produce Survivor: Destiny’s Child The Musical based on the girl group that he famously created & managed. The show was originally scheduled to premiere in their hometown in Houston Texas later in the year followed by a premiere in London and then Broadway but they has all been pushed back til 2021

Mathew’s latest book was released earlier in the year called Destiny’s Child The Untold Story followed by Girls Tyme Unreleased Album. The book is avail now for purchase on mathewknowles.com and album on Amazon.

Mathew was diagnosed with Stage ONE Breast Cancer back in July. He discovered a tiny red dot on his white t-shirt and thought it was nothing but it appeared again which led him to get tested for the BRCA gene. Mathew had a mastectomy and is currently Cancer-Free but is considering to get another mastectomy on his second breast. Mathew decided to go public about his diagnosis to help save lives since most men would never think to get tested for Breast Cancer. Early detection is so important and has saved his life.

Mathew is now happily remarried to former model Gena Avery & has a wonderful relationship with his ex-wife Tina & two daughters and prefers to just be “dad” and “granddaddy” these days.

Melba Moore on her career, racism & the NFL Playing Lift Every Voice

Melba Moore on her career, racism & the NFL Playing Lift Every Voice

The NFL Will Play 'Lift Every Voice And Sing' Before Each Season-Opener Game. The song known as the Black national anthem will play at the start of every season opener game, coming before "The Star Spangled Banner.

"Lift Every Voice and Sing" was written as a poem by NAACP leader James Weldon Johnson, and set to music by his brother John Rosamond Johnson in 1899.

It was first performed in 1900 at a segregated school in Florida by a group of children commemorating the birthday of President Abraham Lincoln. Subsequent landmark performances in the intervening decades include those by Kim Weston in 1972, Melba Moore in 1990, Gladys Knight and BeBe Winans in 2012 and Beyoncé in 2018.

In addition to her Tony Award, Moore's music career brought additional accolades. She was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1971 for 'Best New Artist'. Her 1975 second album, Peach Melba, saw her get a Grammy nomination. In 1976, she earned another Grammy nomination for Best Rhythm & Blues Vocal Performance - Female for the song "Lean on Me",.[19] Moore was also nominated for Best Female Rock Vocal in 1986 for "Read My Lips". Moore is also the 2012 Recipient of the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival Theatre Legend Award. Moore was inducted into the Official Rhythm & Blues Music Hall of Fame on October 4, 2015, in Detroit.

Moore received the prestigious 2015 Sandy Hosey Lifetime Achievement Award during the Artists Music Guild's 2015 AMG Heritage Awards broadcast held on November 14, 2015, in North Carolina.[20] Ms. Moore stars in the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe's production of "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill" to great acclaim in the sold-out run.

Byron Galloway's story

I needed a part-time job for extra income because my wife and I were expecting our second child.  So, I started helping  a friend who had cleaned carpet for years and we end up starting a company together.  The partnership was short lived and  I soon started my own business ( Elite Carpet Cleaning) with a portable machine and an Astro van. The  business soon started to grow and require me to buy new equipment . During that time my older brother stepped in and helped me acquire a new to me van with a machine in it. That was the beginning of Steam Bros LLC . He continue to help me for 4 years before stepping away from business. I continued to grow the business through quality service and fair pricing. Fast forward a year and half later I acquired Steam Master’s from close friend. Now we service the Triad and Charlotte and some parts of South Carolina.

I am a young black entrepreneur that is working to building generational wealth for my family. I want to be an example to  other entrepreneurs and dreamers who are striving to start a business. It is a lot of hard work and sacrifices but it can be done with the right mindset and the right people in your corner.

Jokia has a fresh new sound for Christian Contemporary Music

Jokia has a fresh new sound for Christian Contemporary Music

The music that Jokia writes and sings is true, genuine worship music. When people hear her music, they instantly feel the intense joy of worship that she felt throughout her faith. Believing every word with all of her heart, it's hard not to walk away from a Jokia song without feeling the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

Jokia has brought a fresh new sound to Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) today. In a relatively short amount of time, she has invited listeners to engage in worship in a way that few other artists can. She has a gift for singing and songwriting, and is determined to share it with as many people as possible.

Born and raised in California, Jokia fell in love with music at the mere age of 12. Always in tune with music and its performance, she knew it was her undoubted calling as she began to sing and write songs. Presently 28-years old today, Jokia sits atop a musical career that is a testament to her musical passions and tenacious drive for making it all a reality.

Jokia attended high school in San Diego, California after moving from Compton at a young age. Upon graduation, she went into the Army and served rom 2006 to 2010. Whilst in the Army, Jokia gave her life to Christ. She also joined the Army Soldier show, toured the country and Europe for 8-months, and ordered herself a guitar.

After leaving the Army, Jokia attended her church at Shiloh Worship Center in Belton, Texas and played acoustic guitar for the parish. Her performance abilities began to garner her attention and during this time, Jokia had the honor of sharing the stage with the likes of Tasha Cobbs, Jessica Reedy, Casey J, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Brianna "Bri" Babinauex, and Willie Moore Jr.

Jokia's music is produced by Tedy P, the same producer behind Kierra Sheard and many other major Christian recording artists in the game today.

She released her very first single, Amen, May 2016 and has recently finished recording her first EP, to be released June 12, 2017.

Chirs Jasper: The Creator of the Isley Brothers Signature Sound

Chirs Jasper: The Creator of the Isley Brothers Signature Sound

Jasper is a classically trained musician and composer. The youngest of seven siblings, he started studying classical music at the age of 7 at the suggestion of his mother, Elizabeth. After graduating from high school in Cincinnati, he moved to New York to study music composition at the Juilliard School of Music in New York City. He continued his studies at C.W. Post, Long Island University, New York, where he studied with jazz pianist and composer Billy Taylor and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in music composition. He subsequently earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Concord University School of Law. The Jasper and Isley families lived in the same apartment complex in Cincinnati. While still living in Cincinnati, Jasper's older sister, Elaine, married Rudolph Isley. His vocal trio formed by the three older brothers, Rudolph, Ronald and O'Kelly, subsequently relocated to Teaneck, New Jersey. While living temporarily in Teaneck with his sister as a young teenager and attending Teaneck High School, Jasper and the two younger Isleys, Marvin and Ernie, formed a band, "The Jazzman Trio" with Jasper on keyboards, Ernie on drums, and Marvin on bass. The band played local gigs in the New Jersey area. Along with Jasper, Marvin and Ernie also attended C.W. Post College in New York. While still in college, Jasper, Ernie, and Marvin toured with the older Isley Brothers and played on the earlier recordings, including "It's Your Thing". Jasper's first of many songs written for the Isley Brothers was "Love Put Me on a Corner" released on the Isleys' Brother, Brother, Brother album in 1972. In 1973, Jasper, Marvin, and Ernie brought the songwriting and musical component to the older Isley Brothers' vocal trio, transitioning the Isley Brothers into a self-produced, self-contained six-member R&B/Funk band. Their debut release during this time was the 3+3 album. Although all six members of the Isley Brothers are credited as songwriters of the music from the 3+3 era, this was a business arrangement and does not reflect the creative reality.Jasper was the primary songwriter, producer, and arranger of The Isley Brothers music from 1973 (3+3) through 1983 (Between the Sheets), with contributions by younger members Ernie and Marvin Isley. Between The Sheets was their final album as a six-member group. Jasper's arrangements, instrumentation, and unique chord structures as a classically trained musician have been credited as the foundation of the legendary "Isley Brothers sound", which Jasper has continued in his own solo recordings. https://goldcityrecords.com/ https://www.facebook.com/Chris.H.Jasper https://www.linkedin.com/in/chris-h-jasper/

Black Women there is a nonsurgical solution for Uterine Fibroids!!

Black Women there is a nonsurgical solution for Uterine Fibroids!!

Dr. Lipman truly has a unique medical practice. He has helped in the development of a revolutionary medical breakthrough for the treatment of symptomatic uterine fibroids. The procedure is called UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization). He performed the first UFE in Georgia almost 25 years ago and despite its long track record of safety and efficacy, most women suffering with fibroids never hear about UFE. UFE is completely nonsurgical and outpatient. The recovery is 5-7 days and patients come home the same day as the procedure with just a bandaid (and their uterus). If you know anyone suffering with fibroids, please have them go to ATLii.com to learn more about UFE. Check out his article in Rolling Out Magazinehttps://rollingout.com/2019/09/04/dr-john-lipman-helping-black-women-stay-healthy/ This information is so important to the African-American community. His email is  (john@ATLii.com). Call their office and make an appointment 770-953-2600 Please let them know you heard this information on The BJ Murphy Report Podcast Dr. John Lipman is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist and renowned authority in the non-surgical treatment of uterine fibroids. He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and then did a fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Yale University School of Medicine. He was awarded the highly acclaimed Fellowship status in both American College of Radiology & Society of Interventional Radiology; honors that only ~10% of Radiologists ever achieve in their career. He has delivered over 200 invited lectures to some of the most prestigious medical centers in the country, including Harvard, Morehouse, Vanderbilt, and Yale Medical Centers. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Medical Association of Atlanta (MAA) and Cobb County Medical Society (CCMS). Phillip and Melissa Lyde: How to be overcome challenges in a marriage

Phillip and Melissa’s first book, Two Sides of the Same Coin (2017) was their testimony of the challenges over 20 years of marriage; it is also available on Amazon and Kindle. Since the first book, their personal grief also birthed their nonprofit organization, Healing Wings Foundation™, which provides awareness on “Aortic Dissection… while promoting community outreach services… educating and restoring health ‘balances’ within the community.”

More information can be found at http://www.healingwingsfoundation.com/

By their own admission, they have survived bankruptcy, separation, unemployment... you name it, they've probably have gone through it; they continue to coach couples through their personal and spiritual lenses, as they host events centered around marriage, relationships, and the family dynamic. Their backgrounds in the mental health and academic arenas have also shaped their ministry, to provide a much-needed perspective of life as it pertains to scripture and their individual faiths. Phillip and Melissa’s intent for this workbook is to share relatable experiences along with the hope that separation or divorce does not have to be the norm in today’s society.

They currently reside in Knightdale, North Carolina, with their four boys and “Nova”, their chihuahua.
