Part 1 of a 3-part series on people who leave the church. People leave the church for various reasons: issues with people in the church (even the pastor), an unavoidable situation of life such as a job or military transfer, disagreements with standards, etc. However, those who remain can easily fall into the trap of assuming that if people leave they must have backslidden. Because of this, we can leave ourselves open to gossip since the ones that leave become easy targets. In this episode we speak with Richard Humbert, Mike Williams and Will Bowers, all of whom have left one of our churches. But, as you will find out, the reasons for this are not always bad.
