After a short break starting jobs and generally working hard, the boys are excited to be back with a long-awaited pod with England 7s player and friend of the show Will Edwards.
Will takes Ross, Tom and Henry through the highs and lows of the journey that has taken him to a career as an elite athlete, from persistent injury setbacks to the surprise of signing his first professional contract with Saracens.
The boys reminisce about watching Will’s Saracens debut, as he goes into detail about the sacrifices that were required to launch his professional career. Will tells the boys how he was spotted by England 7s coach Simon Amor through a highlights video, and the amazing turn of events that led to his debut tournament in Vancouver. They discuss his development as a player since getting his first full time England 7s contract, including their legendary Death Zone training session and what it’s like playing with his idols.
