On today's episode, Kristen features special guest Dr. van Stolk-Cooke, a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University working with Dr. Debra Kaysen from the last episode. Dr. van Stolk-Cooke shares her great insight into the difference between "Big T" and "little t" traumas as well as how we as people can distinguish and respect such differences. She also gives a sit-down on why therapy is *vital* to PTSD recovery as well as the various types of trauma evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET).
