Sideline Spear: Baseball
After a 15-0 loss, the Warriors’ varsity baseball team took on the Walton Raiders in the second game of a three-game series. After holding a 1-0 lead for seven innings, the Warriors found themselves in extra innings against the region rival. Joining Nathaniel Jordan on Sideline Spear, head coach Tom Callahan discusses the battle with the Raiders and his goals for the near future.
History made: Warriors look ahead after roadblock
After a 17-0 victory against East Paulding (0-5), the NC varsity boys lacrosse team (1-3) hoped to capitalize with two victories, but unfortunately fell convincingly to two top-notch opponents. On this episode of Sideline Spear, Nathaniel Jordan looks ahead to how the Warriors may bounce back in the lengthy season. With plenty of games to play, the 1-3 Warriors still show great upside for the remaining season.

Sideline Spear: Volleyball
The NC varsity volleyball team (36-8) capped off a dominant regular season against a gritty Hillgrove squad (30-7) October 5. Despite an early deficit, the Lady Warriors powered through to a win in the final set of a best-of-five match. Coach Stephen Sansing joins to discuss the team's promising season and the preparation for the region tournament.

Welcome to the sideline spear podcast my name is Nathaniel Jordan, and I am joined today by Warrior Softball coach Bailey Arnaud and Queens University commit Lauren Byrd. NC’s undefeated lady Warriors took on the 12-6 Cartersville Canes on their senior night, and the six seniors on the roster combined for 7 hits and drove in 9 runs in the 14-7 victory. Senior Samantha Mathews took the mound and had a great outing, holding down the fort for a dominant offensive performance from NC batters.
Sideline Spear: Flag Football
The NC flag football team (4-5) faced the Harrison Hoyas (5-3) coming off a tough 14-12 loss to Lassiter earlier that day. The Warriors fought through the matchup missing seven players including the starting quarterback, junior Rileigh Queen and head coach Bailey Arnaud. Led by a freshman quarterback, NC put Harrison to bed now eyeing a .500 record and starting their chase at the playoffs. Coach Murphy Corley joins Sideline Spear to discuss the game.
