The Bill of Rights is seen as one of the great triumphs in American political history. However, as guns become more deadly and shootings become more prevalent, the 2nd amendment has turned into a point of controversy. Today I am joined by Scott Pio, the Republican candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates representing Virginia's 32nd district. As a concerned parent and spouse, he hopes that upholding the 2nd amendment will ensure a safe future in Virginia. Hopefully, by the end, we can both find a Common Denominator.

Though most of her work and knowledge comes from campaigns and organizing, she is eager to talk and learn more about other specific topics such as taxing big corporations. She is the Membership Director of the Virginia Young Democrats Teen Caucus and a field organizer for two local state delegate campaigns. Hopefully by the end our our discussion we can both find a Common Denominator.

2020 was an eventful year marked by conversations around race. Awareness around the systemic racism in our country today skyrocketed, however as someone who has luckily has not encountered racism in my life I wanted to learn more about this issue. Elfa and Jordin are two high school students who are the co-presidents of All Students United at Centerville High School. Today I metaphorically sit down over Zoom to have a conversation around their experiences with racism. While we both have different experiences with race, I hope we can find a Common Denominator.
