Special Episode 3 - 'Mortality'
In this episode we discuss mortality and unravel the nature of death. In light of the passing of our fathers and the experience of loss and grief in the world today, we desire to shed light upon the manyfold perspectives of death to inspire open hearts and compassion for ourselves and one another. We discuss the emotional processing of grief, awakening to life through loss, connecting to our why (soul purpose) and death as a portal to unity.

Special Episode 2 - 'Healing Emotional Trauma: An Interview with E.L Brooks'
"With the recent passing of Chadwick Boseman who was trolled, bullied and ridiculed for his weight loss, which we now know was due to his battle with cancer, and the recent internet sexual harassment of Milana Vayntrub best known as The AT&T woman, I wanted to do a special podcast around emotional instability that is plaguing the world.
As I was thinking of doing this podcast, one of my co-workers actually had her own Karen run in, simply for existing.
With so much uncertainty around this pandemic, the economy and the upcoming election, we are seeing an increase in emotional instability, where many are not able to regulate their emotions. Therefore they are not able to be the best versions of themselves. In fact, many are barely holding on to values and principles. Some of us sitting on the sidelines are horrified at the current state of humanity. This believe it or not is all due to systemic unidentified, unhealed and unresolved emotional trauma. This state causes many to live constantly in a defensive mode based on personal insecurities which is some by-product of FEAR, which is not allowing them to feel psychologically safe.
We are now starting to see the effects of the absence of social interaction that unknowingly keeps us in our default and most advanced response mode which is our SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT response. Social interaction and play allows us to practice regulating emotions by using and viewing facial and vocal cues. This allows us to cap our mobilization and keep the other two more primitive responses (yes that’s right, lower brain primitive responses) at bay.
With all of the fake news pumping fear tactics, it is no wonder all of us are on edge, but those that have higher unresolved trauma are literally coming unglued.
I wanted to do a podcast to shed light on a subject that is taboo - Emotional Trauma and how it affects all of us throughout our lives. No matter how successful we become, if we don’t heal our emotional trauma and find our truth and purpose, we will always remain on UNFULFILLED."
