With the blood-sucking baddie finally put to a final rest, the 'stakes' were lowered, and a thorough search of the ruined residence commenced. Artifacts were found and diary discoveries made - but it was the stone well for which the hall was named that provided the darkest of discoveries.
Six souls were retuned to Avacyn's embrace, and druidic magic was employed by Otto to save the sanctity of the victim's burial plot.

Battle with the angsty arachnid was soon over - oral projectiles were fired from both sides, and our resident sorceress was successfully freed from the spider's sticky webbing!

As the companions crash headlong into another challenge, it is a race against the clock to track down a missing child.
With our Paladin taking a tumble, and a tricky trek through the thickets, they eventually come across the likely location where Ivona last left her little brother Brady.
Rowan raced off into the darkness to see what pertinent information he could dredge up to aid his associates. His message delivery system of 'man-bat' fell slightly short, as he engaged Elora in a guessing game, leaving his mistress somewhat mystified.
As it turned out, things in the cave were anything but tickety-boo !

A bedraggled figure emerged from the brush, bringing the horses to a halt. Ogvar climbed down from the cart to investigate, and discovered a frail young girl, Ivona, who alongside her brother Brady, had fallen foul of Innistrad's evil.

It would appear that the city of Selhoff has finally been snatched from the sinister grip of the corrupt city lord, who was clearly in cahootz with the Skirsdag cultists.
As friendly faces rather than foe file through the front door, the very holy, and heavy hands of Thraben, are felt as they stretch across Nephalia to take back control, and right the wrongs.

As Ogvar wrangled with rather persistent raiders on the perimeter wall, he refused to accept the rudeness aimed at him from one associate of Axsom, and promptly re-educated the rascal with a message of his own making!
With the aid of Kolbein, who introduced some 'boom' to the room before bugging out, our brave and bold Paladins brawled in the vault very effectively, as they invoked some holy heroism to lay waste to some were-rats.

THE SECRETS OF THE SILVER CITY - Episode 91: Holy Hangovers & Tardy Transcripts
Fingers that are stuck to a clingy chest are never a good omen - and our last visit to the Lord's mansion did nothing to dispel that fact!
It was a very sore Sorceress that sloped back into the action after being forced to faceplant the building's inner facade.
A plethora of platinum pieces were prized from the expired entity, where proof of Mr Axsom's crimes against the church, and his collusion with the cultists were finally found.
Quickly exiting the broken window via an exotic extending ladder, and a rapid run back to the fountain, saw our companions leave the same way they had landed - a trip through the tunnels taking them back to the safety of the Cathedral where Gerhart, Ruth and the Cathars were waiting to welcome them home.

Previously....
With the battle blazing, the companions clamour to get a grip on the situation with the suit.
Our Sorceress sensed victory in the offing as she viciously gave it a grilling, before Ogvar was flung from the fracas, and Esther repelled rather quickly after him.
The feisty foe was finally defeated, and the back room breached, where the team quickly found the quarry they sought. With the curios handed over to Orland,
a pair of ornate chests were all that remained to ransack, and with the first padlock picked, a firery explosion flared - enveloping all bar Cadeaux and barbequed several 'brows'.
Chest number two lurked menacingly, and as Elora bravely brandished her lockpicks once more, she became aware that her run of fortune had faltered as her fingers became firmly fixed to the surface of the tacky trunk!..
This may be a little previous...but by now I think we know what could be coming next?
