The Drifters drop their first episode of 2023 with special guests Michael & Nathan from THE POWER TRIP! This episode covers our first comic book of the show, featuring Tommy Oliver's final mission: Saving his son! Does old man Tommy have a solid finish? Or does it leave something to be desired for the character? The Power Trip weighs in with JR & G on a long standing legacy that wraps up this graphic novel.

In one of the more in depth episodes, The Drifters take a dive into the Power Rangers franchise, highlighting its best moments, themes, what drew them into the franchise as children and what it means for them today.

JR and G go into the grid to talk about Tron. An all time favorite of JR's, do the film's effects add a certain, stylistic charm? Or does it date the movie? Additionally the two Drifters take a gander at the more spiritual themes regarding Flynn's visit to the digital world.

The Drifters return to the Dragon Ball franchise with the fourth film of the "Super" era. The boys endure Rebecca's gushing over Piccolo which leads to a couple of dramatic exits and an ethical debate over Piccolo's manipulation of Gohan. Where does this CG animated epic sit among the other cinematic Dragon Ball stories? And is the franchise stronger as a film series or a television show? Power up your ki for this latest drift.

After a lengthy hiatus The Drifters return to talk about what has been going on in their absence and where the show will go from here. As assigned by our friends at Monsters vs. Men, G leads the discussion for his least favorite Godzilla movie. Did rewatching it give him a fresh perspective? Or does he just hate it more? On a whim, Reb, G & JR speed through a Sonic the Hedgehog revisit. The video game adaption surprises The Drifters with some wonderful Jim Carrey shenanigans. But is light, fun entertainment enough? Or does Sonic have anything serious to ponder? The joy "runs" just as fast as the critique in this fun Drift Space episode.
