Bonus Episode: Chatting with "Jim" Ryan Betson

Bonus Episode: Chatting with "Jim" Ryan Betson

What's up and welcome to The Dual Sense Podcast for a special holiday bonus episode! This week, I am joined by Mr. Ryan Betson (who I am affectionately calling "Jim" Ryan Betson) from The PopCulturists out of Australia for a lovely PlayStation conversation.

We discuss a lot indeed, including our thoughts on The Game Awards and PlayStation's robust presence, how awesome Death Stranding 2 looks, Chris Judge's speech, and whether or not Keighley should host the show. We also deep dive into PlayStation VR2, including our hype level, if it's too expensive, the games we are excited about, and will PlayStation Studios support the headset long-term. Along those lines, we mildly debate if Sony bet on the right niche product (as opposed to handheld gaming), and the overall potential of virutal reality. We round things out by looking at the year ahead, what upcoming releases we are looking forward to, and if we think PlayStation still has unannounced games coming in 2023.

It is a helluva show. If you enjoy it, please do subscribe to get a new episode delivered to you every Monday (with the exception of next Monday). Please also consider leaving us a rating or review on your podcast service, as well as sharing us with a friend or loved one who might enjoy the show.

Thank you for listening and thank you to Ryan for coming on the show. Have a great holiday, stay safe, and we will talk to you in the 2023!
