Hey! It's been forever, but we're back! In this episode Kevin and Steve analyze The Haunting of Hill House. We are a little rusty. Steve especially. One of the most groundbreaking uses of lighting in a movie is in 2001: A Space Odyssey, directed by Stanley Kubrick. In this episode, we are going to talk about that film, the technical aspects of how certain lighting effects were achieved, and what certain uses of lighting in key scenes could mean from a storytelling point-of-view.
